Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I have been going through the message board a lot this weekend since I havent been feeling the greatest and I feel like there is too much bickering on the posts. Maybe I am just taking things the wrong way but I'm sick of people saying 'Nobody responds to the posts anymore'. I think that it really doesnt matter if you get any responses to your posts or not! I could care less if this one gets anything. Just remember people that you still have people VIEWING your posts! They dont HAVE to respond. I do believe in stating your own opinions but some of them have gone really far. I am not putting this on one particular person I'm just saying it in general because in the past few weeks I have seen to much of it. This message board was designed for people to come and share their thoughts on the show and what they think is going to happen, NOT for people to complain about how the message board is quiet! Once again I am sorry if you think this is out of line but lets just post and be happy! Mod Matt if you decide to close this thread its fine with me, I just wanted to tell everyone how I was feeling about the posts lately. Lets just post our thoughts and feelings and be happy!!

I agree 100%, I do not even like to post 1/2 the time because of the nitpicking and disrespect......

I feel like every thread is becoming a battle and I choose to pick my battles very carefully!

I agree with you Sassy! I kind of stopped posting for a while because I felt like everyone argued with my opinions. I also agree with you Pelphrey! We need to stay positive about the future of Guding Light! Have a nice day everyone!

It never occurs to me to wait for responses to my post. I just say what I have to say and go on.

I'm going to enjoy this board as long as there is a Light.

What is everyone's plan of action for daytime TV if the Light does go out? Will you pick up another soap or just not watch TV in the Light time slot?

I just read your post - I have been reading the message board everyday for over a year. I love reading everyones thoughts and ideas about Guiding Light. But I can honestly say - I have only responded to anyones post probably only 5 times. There are so many times I want to respond, but at the time I just don't have the time. So thank you to all who writes there opinion(good or bad). I enjoy reading them. I have been a fan of guiding light for over 30+ years.

I think its fine to post your opinions but if someone disagrees with them they should just say 'I think....' A lot of people say really rude things when they disagree with someone on here. It kinda irritates me in so many ways. I understand that the show is being canceled and we are all upset but I think we all just need to chill out and wait for the special news. Arguing doesnt get us anywhere at all.
