I have a question. If Guiding light moves to another network, do they keep the same crappy writers or get new ones?

Who knows. I remember a few great soaps going off the air, but they were never picked up. (that was a loooonnnggg time ago) Night soaps had the occassional come back shows. Dallas, Knots Landing, and I have no idea if they were written by the same writers. Perhaps the writers they have now will have more freedom to write what they want to write and what they know we want to see, on another network. Maybe their hands are tied with new guildlines in the slot they are in. JMO. (But if is not at all what I mentioned and we have to watch the same crap on another network, then, yeah, I hope they change the writers.)

I think if (IF) it went to another network, the new network would have the option of hiring new writers for their show, whether they would and not have anyone who knows the history of GL or not is anyone's guess.
