Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I have to agree with Touched. I think that the ratings started going down when Phillip left, and then when the hottest couple at the time "Danny and Michelle" were let go out of the blue. Then they separated Josh and Reva. Then they keep Bill and Lizzie apart. Then, there is O/N. So dumb. They expect us to believe that Olivia is gay. Never, Olivia likes men to much. Why didn't they bring her a new man on the show? You can't do stuff like this and expect fans that have watched for years to stay faithful. I just hope that when CC goes to DOOL that she stays away from Bo and doesn't cause any problems for him and Hope.

Other shows are probably wishing a true decision was made regarding Light or no Light! IMO GL has some of the best actors on daytime and I bet other shows are dying to sign them on!

GL should try to go out with some dignity, this year so far they have spit on what dignity they had, turn the clock back a few years. Get back to the old days when the show was good, right now with Olivia and Natalia it is crazy, why not have Billy playing the roll of an astronaut building a space shuttle in his spare time, that would be about as believable as Olivia and Natalia. Olivia is still making out with Josh, so it's clear she is not 100% committed to this.

I have to say I feel as disgusted with the Bizzie combo as some here feel about Otalia! The SL of Bill and Lizzie is so contrived and immature in its portrayal. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such bad ~~~~~~~~ The scenes with Bizzie actually make me cringe. Also, I don’t like Jeffy-boy (the rapist) and Reva together. I much prefer Josh be with her. (BTW KZ is a great actress!)

As for the Otalia SL (BTW CC is a fantastic actress!). Olivia 100% committed to Natalia? Well, Liv does have history with Josh and they have quite the chemistry. But the character of Olivia put the brakes on pretty quick during their kissing scene. I would say she has some pretty heavy duty commitment to Natalia. But, this is a Soap Opera, after all, and ya need a little zing-badda-bing to spice up the story now doncha know! LOL

Anyway, as for the Otalia SL being believable or not - I will use myself as an example. I had my fair share of boyfriends when I was young but then I settled down. I was married 13 years to a man and have two sons from that relationship. Unfortunately the marriage did not work and we divorced. I then met and fell in love with a woman. We have been raising our son (her biological son) together for over 12 years now! So, I would just like to say to those here that think it’s just not believable for someone to change their preferences in life – believe it. It can happen. I am hardly unique in this scenario. I was not the first nor will I be the last to switch hit for the other team during the middle of a game. Pretending such things don’t happen is naïve to say the least. Just saying…

Speaking of rumors, did anyone notice that Natalia is about to give birth? I hope they have a medic standing by. Are they going to kill off her character - hey, maybe she killed Edmond!

Jeez, disgusted by Bizzie. That's a bit overdoing it dontcha think? I can understand not liking but disgusted? If I were to say that Otalia were disgusting (which IMO they are not) I would be called everything from a bigot to a homophobe.
