Quote svairedale: This show so rocks with Phillip back on it. His facial expressions are priceless. He is my hero on this show. He should never have left it. I think a lot of viewers left when he did and have come back because of him.

Phillip is definately the man! You are so right about his facial expressions!!

Poor Phillip has been getting the crap end of the stick since he got home. If I were him I might be incline to re-commit myself to Ravenwood just so I could hang out with the sane people, they obviously let the crazies run free around the town.

I agree. Longtime GL fan since the Four Musketeers and before. Phillip was absolutely right. James showed not one ounce of remorse for the selfishness of his actions, the havoc he wrought, or the aftermath. He bilked people out of thousands-maybe millions-and did not care. As soon as his dad said he was valiantly taking the fall, he didn't miss a beat as he started planning Ponzi scheme #2 with delinquent Susan.
The look on his face on Thursday's epi, after the tables were turned, was priceless. However, the look on his face after the arraignment on Monday's epi, was truly must-see TV.The only way he'll learn is to suffer the repercussions of his actions. It's called toughlove. It's the ONLY way to ensure James doesn't become a carbon copy of obnoxious Alan. It is good to see Grant Aleksander back, if only it could've been sooner.

I have to agree it was the best thing as a parent Phillip letting James take time in jail to learn his lesson. It would be hard but that is tough love and need more often!!

Tough love... that is finally someone showing some true love for one of their kids. James is a wise guy who needs to get knocked off his kings thrown and I two loved the look on his smart azz face when Philip did what he did. Perfect...now if dear old granddad keeps his nose out of this maybe the kid will learn something...other then Spaldings can do no wrong. And one more thing Beth needs to get over herself and stick up for Philip and work as a team not try to stop everything he is trying to do to save James.
