Was anyone else surprised by Marina's reaction to the news about Shayne being Henry's dad? I felt like she was being a bit one-sided with her feelings. She told Shayne he was supposed to be her friend... Isn't she then supposed to be her friend? I didn't expect her to hand him over but I thought she'd be more sensitive to the fact that Henry is the only link Shayne has to Lara. It's not like Shayne chose not to have him. JMO.

I was hoping someone would post something about Marina's reaction. I wanted to jump through the screen and slap the you know what out of her. However I am not surprised by how she acted because it's always been about her and her only. If I were Shayne I would of went straight to the court house to file for custody of MY kid. She really has some nerve. And you're right, she SHOULD of been a little more sensitive to Shayne. I really can't stand Marina anyways.

I also felt Marina's reaction to Shayne's telling her that he is biologocal father to the baby was way overblown and antagonistic even...far beyond what it reasonably should have been...she and Shayne have been friends since both were in diapers....he tried and tried to explain the circumstaces that he would not interfere with either Mallet nor her re bringing up the child...but, Marina seemed frightened even so....jdvermeer

I hope Dinah tells Josh and especially Reva, Reva will want Shayne to raise his child, her grandson.

Yeah her reaction was WAY over the top!!!!
Can't wait for the day when it becomes known that she set up the social worker and then black mailed her!

Never really had anything against her until now. That one action alone proved just how self absorbed she really is! I mean yeah i get it, Henry is "her" child now, but dang has she got nerve! That baby is the product of real true love and his mother is supposedly dead. Now if Shayne had aproched her and told her Henry is my biological kid, my only remaining link to Lara I want him, I could see the flipping out.

Her reaction was just her been the twit that she is.I hope Shayne takes his son away from her.I hate Mallet will be the one to end up hurt b/c of all her lies.

Sorry, I am the dissenter here! Marina got slammed with this news out of nowhere. She was shocked and yes, even scared. I would have been scared too if it were happening to me. Of course her relationship to henry was the first thing she thought of, she loves him with all her heart. She thought Shayne wanted more than just giving her info.
I thought Shayne surely could have picked a better spot to drop this bombshell too!
This will pass and she will adjust to this news but shame on you Marina if you don't immediately tell Mallet!!

I came here specifically to complain about Marina's reaction. I can understand her being a little freaked out at first and completely disbelieving. However, Shayne has been her friend forever and she should have known that he wasn't trying to take the baby away and that he had to come forward. She should have been grateful. Second, it is the most selfish and horrible thing for her to keep the child from Shayne. Shayne is a great person, and it is his only connection to the love of his life, and children have wonderful lives with two loving families. There is no reason why she can't share the baby. If Shayne really doesn't want to, which I think he really does, then she could say well I at least want you to be a part of his life every day or something like that. Third, why would she not tell Mallet? Does she think this is going to break up the family? Mallet will be pissed when he finds out that Marina knew for awhile, but he wouldn't be nearly as upset if she told him right away. I never had an issue with Marina until now. How selfish!

Why would anyone be confused about Marina's reaction to learning Henry is Shayne's baby? She is a very selfish woman, or should I say child/women! This info she is keeping from Mallet will come to bite her in the a$$ real fast!! Why would she keep this info to herself, Mallet should know and must know this is Shayne's child. Mallet, loves this baby and feels like his father, so he would understand now, that Shayne should have his child back to raise himself. Now that Mallet knows what it is to be a father, this will help him understand why the baby should be with his real father. Reva and Josh deserve to know they have a grandchild. Shayne, might go along with Marina not telling Mallet, but, sooner or later he will want his child back. He SHOULD have his own child back with him. Everytime he looks at the baby, he will see Lara in him. Even today, he commented about how the baby could sleep through anything. Shayne will not keep this secret to himself. Marina, is a mean, selfish woman, and Mallet will find out real soon! This storyline will come to a quick boil real soon, then Marina will be left alone!!!!

Hi, LTsoapfan. It is good to be back and talking to all of you again. Out of our mouths, to Mallet's ears!!!! Marina, really gets to me! I didn't like this character before, but, her reaction to how she is handling the truth, took it to the top for me. I wasn't suprised by her response to Shayne. I want Shayne to take his baby and run, run, run, so far from Marina, the whiny brat!! Dinah, will convince him to get Henry back with him. I love Shayne and Dinah together!!!

Marina makes me mad too, but she is scared of loosing the baby ( Henry ) I think She will tell Mallet when Reva is locked up for Edmond's death. She will be forced to tell because of her fear of Shayne taking the baby.

I loathe Marina, I wish she were just absent or at the very least; go visit her aunt Harley in Greece for a bit! I wanted to smack her 1 time and be done w/ it but guess that’s not in my favor I cannot believe how much this freakin s/l is driving me to rage! Shayne take that baby and raise it w/ Dinah for gawd sake! I really do hope that this unfolds w/ in the next few mths...what a bang bang s/l it is...leaving baby Shayne w/ M&M is a no, no! Way too simple, thinking it has to expand? It must! b1p1

I can kinda understand Marina's intial reaction but after the fact and they went to company there was NO NEED for her to "rub in" those your henry daddy comments right in front of shane and then look at him like ha! That is plain wrong! I hope Dina tells Mallet!! I hope everything blows up in Marina's face cause I get being surprised and stunned at first but he came to you and told you, he saved teh baby's life...get over it!
