Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I keep reading all these messages about Guiding Light being cancelled on this
board, but I have'nt heard this any where else. Please tell me this is just a nasty
rumor. Guiding Light has been my favorite soap for an eternity and I would hate
to see it fade away. Please can't they see a lot of us are still watching.

I guess I 've been under a rock! My son just told me he heard it on TV a couple of times.


I read someone's post about a petition to keep it on, please every fan go to the
site they mentioned, there is power in numbers.

It will be like losing a old friend, I will be totally distraught.

I've heard it here, and on t.v. Entertainment tonight.And, Craig Ferguson. Almost every talk show has mentioned it. That it has been on for 70 some yrs., and finally going off. I'm saddened, but I guess we had better get used to it. Sept. of this year, it is gone.There was a rumor about it being on a different channel, like lifetime, or one of those. But, they don't do soaps, do they? And, it would all be re-runs anyway.

Dandelion, if it goes to Lifetime, it wouldn't be re-runs, it would be new just like it was on CBS.
