Basically, fast forward over it... thats what I do when there is a segment that I'm not a fan of...

I love your avatar. Luke and Laura have been my favorite soap couple for a very long time.

But I have to wonder why you -- who clearly love Luke and Laura, a story about the redemption of a rapist, and everything that those two have had to endure over the years -- can't see that sometimes the heart knows far better than what the people around say.

To me the parallels are so strong between the two stories. Laura walked away from a "good man" Scotty because her heart knew that Luke was her love, her family, her everything. She couldn't not be with him. Natalia feels the same way about Olivia.

And remember all lost long months when Luke and Laura were on the run and were so clearly and sweetly in love but they weren't together physically because they had some much emotional baggage that they had to work through. And how wonderful was it when they finally could give themselves to each other fully, and that curtain across the room finally fell?

It's a storyline, period. You don't like it, move on to one you do want to see. It surprises me that so many people are this concerned about one pairing.

As far as them being lovers, today they worked their way back up to hand holding. That's it, hand holding. No hugging, No kissing, No rolling around in the sheets. Just hand holding with a very large suitcase between them. Calling them "lovers" is a BIG stretch of the word. Maybe someday in the future (one can hope), but I don't expect to see that anytime soon. At least until after Jessica gives birth to her baby. So for everyone who is that concerned with the idea of them being lovers I think it is safe to say you have at least til July to prepare yourself. Probably longer with how they are taking their sweet time getting there. After that, all Otalia haters can familiarize themselves with the fast forward button on your remote. It's what I did through the entire Daisy/Grody s/l. Cause that was just all kinds of ewwww. I wanted to throw things at the screen. Don't even get me started on Marina and Mallett. Now Olivia and Natalia as lovers, I won't be throwing things at the screen. Nope, not once.

For me, it's not about being born gay or turning gay. It's about spending a lot of quality time with someone that you trust. N was there for O after her surgery. O isn't used to needing someone else for stregnth. She saw something in N that allowed her to ask for the needed help and to trust this person. Bonds form from such things. N needed O's help financially and O's support emotionally. Bonds form. Strong bonds that you don't know what to do with. When it is communicated, you realize it's love. The question then becomes: how do I express this feeling? O knows what she wants/needs from it and is willing to wait patiently for N to decide what she wants/needs.

At some point, though, O needs to take a risk and "kiss the girl."

It is nothing against the two being together, I am just sad that Frank can't find someone and keep her. He is probably the most loving man on the show. Give him someone to love.
