Why did they have to mess up the show with Olivia and Natalia's new found relationship?

I think it ruined the show when they decided to put Olivia and Natalia as lovers. Its wrong and after over 20 years of watching GL, Im done. SO why did they mess a good thing up? we may never know. and I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. |

Well, this topic has been discussed many many times and quite frankly, if you want to give up on Guiding Light, then do so. But I absolutely love Otalia and this is what is bringing the show back to life. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect yours, but really, not everyone will agree and it is pointless to keep the same threads up and repeating them. |

For the umpteenth time...all sls are not for everybody! I don't stop watching because of the M&M snoozefest. If you don't want to watch don't, what else can I say, it has all been said a million times. |

i think this storyline has revitalized GL.. i had lost interest some time ago, but the Otalia romance has brought me back. I now watch everyday, patiently waiting for natalia and olivia to come on the screen. |

You're going to throw away an entire show you enjoy, over an s/l that you could potentially f/f through? Seems kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face... Has anyone really wondered where that saying come's from? I was bored, I'm a geek and I love looking up random bits. Apparently, according to Oxford Dictionary of Quotations it lists this proverb as "mid 16th century - mid 14th century in French". There are variations of course such as: "He cut off his nose to be revenged of his face. Said of one who, to be revenged on his neighbour, has materially injured himself." Random trivia. Anybody else got some? And GO! |

This storyline has revitalized GL and may be the only thing that saves the show. What is the problem with having diversity on tv? We need more than just white heterosexual couples to truly represent the viewing population. Otalia is what got me hooked on GL again after a 6 year absensce. |

And I have to say, I think it is kind of uncalled for that everyone is dogging you out for saying how you feel. Yes, it has been discussed lots of times, but so has just about everything else that people are still posting about. Yes, many people lovvvvvvvve this story line, but there are just as many that hate it, so as long as this site is up for people to express how they feel, EVERYONE has the right to use it. Even the ones that dont like the story. |

Otalia is the reason I began watching Guiding Light. It's a beautiful story. I also find myself loving the entire show. Otalia has brought more viewers to GL than it has lost. It always seems that those who dislike the storyline still continue to tune in and that's a good thing. |

Which episode what that again? So far all I've seen is 2 people who think they might have feelings for each other and are trying to figure out what it all means.
