Born in Minnesota, Michael O'Leary was raised in Diamond Bar, CA. He studied television production at California State University at Fullerton where he discovered his true passion was acting!
His famed coaches include Stella Adler & Larry Moss in California and William Esper in New York.
Michael's television career began in 1980 on the then popular show 'CHiPS'! In 1982 O'Leary was cast as Dr. Frederick "Rick" Bauer on Guiding Light.
During the a hiatus from the show, Michael did a few episodes of 'Doogie Howser M.D.' as 'Dr. Stewart Farmingham'. He has also been seen on stage in Los Angeles in Auntie Mame and Scars. He actually co-wrote Scars and has has had another of his plays, Rain, performed at the Tiffany Theater!
O'Leary and his wife Joni reside in New Jersey with their daughters Kate McKenna (b. 11/26/94) and Caroline Parker (b. 8/9/97). , and is an avid golfer.
