BIOGRAPHY

David Andrew Macdonald arrived on GL as the infamous Edmund after an impressive stint in a dual role on Another World. Previous to that, he had planned to become an opera singer before deciding on acting. He studied at the Juilliard School as well as The American University Academy for the Performing Arts, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in drama. From then on, he's had a busy career appearing on stage, often strikingly effective in classical roles. Never afraid to push the envelope and test his talents, he's proven to be one of the most beloved and loathed character actors on daytime.
