A drunken Lulu isn't exactly the best partner in (solving) crime.
Sam and Elizabeth square off over Jason.
Sonny saves the day.

Stuck in the warehouse, Lulu and Jason try to explain to Lorenzo's thugs that Spinelli has just run off. Lulu is really, really drunk and it's funny to hear her try to talk. The thugs tie Jason's hands together before they leave for a while. Lulu tries to explain the whole situation to Jason but she is so painfully drunk it's hard to follow. She's rambling around looking for scissors so she can cut Jason's ropes. She is saying something about not even knowing Spinelli….then she stops cold and remembers that her mother has relapsed. “Did you know my mom was here and now she's gone” she forlornly asks. Jason yells at her to focus. He tells her that she'll have one shot to save her own life. When the thugs come back, he's going to create a diversion and she is to run to the cops.
At the art studio, Sam and Elizabeth come to verbal blows about their respective relationships with Jason. They take every low blow possible with each other. Liz reminds Sam that she slept with Ric; Sam reminds Liz that she married Ric. They both point out how selfish the other is regarding Jason. It's ugly.
Dillon goes to Kelly's and asks Mike if Lulu called in sick today. Mike says he hasn't seen her but that's not unusual for her. He tells Dillon that she skips work often and if her aunt Bobby didn't own the place… (He trailed off). Carly comes in and asks Dillon why he's looking for Lulu.
At Sonny's, Skye is discussing the Lorenzo situation with Sonny, begging for them to strike some kind of truce. The phone rings and it's Liz reporting that Jason went to pier 52 because he heard about some screams. Sonny thanks her for calling. On Liz's end of the call, Sam hears what Liz has just told Sonny and she starts to go Jason. Liz assertively tells her NOT to go there; doesn't she realize that she would probably lead the cops right to Jason? There's a knock at the door and Sam opens it to see Lucky. “I was really hoping not to find you here.”
Nikolas and Emily end up at the Windemere stables at the same time and they blame Alfred for another lame attempt at matchmaking. They remember that today is their 2 year anniversary. He tells her how beautiful she was on their wedding day. She excuses herself so he can go ride Sheba, but the door is jammed. Nikolas tries to help open it, but they realize that Alfred has probably locked it.
Dillon and Carly call Professor Pete and ask him to meet them at Kelly's. When he arrives, Carly asks him if he knows where Lulu is. When he realizes that Carly's last name is Corinthos, he asks if she's related to Sonny. If so, he just told Sonny about Lulu being missing and he said he'd look into it. Carly is relieved to hear that Sonny is involved now. Dillon isn't, he reminds them that Diego was just killed in a mob war that also involved Sonny. Pete asks Dillon why he's so concerned about his “step sister.”
Jason and Lulu are still sitting on the floor when the thugs come back ready to kill them. Jason makes a scene so Lulu can run, but she thinks better of it. Just as she's almost out the door, she turns around and pulls the arm of the guy who's taking a shot at Jason. Sonny, Max and Milo show up in the middle of the scuffle and quickly take control of the situation.
At the Metro Court, Georgie seeks Jax out to ask for his help in explaining hostile takeovers to Dillon for a school paper. He agrees to help; but wants to know why she's doing Dillon's research. Georgie explains that she's been hard on Dillon lately and wants to help with his project to make up for it. Jax finds some paperwork from a takeover that he completed a few years ago and gives it to her. Georgie is grateful, and then talks about how Dillon is continually drawn in by Lulu, “The drama queen of Port Charles”. Jax admits that the damsel in distress is hard to resist.
Emily snoops around the barn and finds what she suspects is there – a picnic basket. That Alfred -- he sure thinks of everything. Once she goes through the basket and finds all her favorites, she wonders how Alfred knew what to pack. Finally she gets Nikolas to admit that he set it all up. Outside the door, Alfred is blocking the door from Colleen, who is trying to get in to rescue Nikolas. Alfred tells her that Nikolas wants to celebrate his 2nd anniversary with Emily and that the first thing they'll do after they reconcile is to find a new nanny.

The scene at Liz's art studio has taken a turn for the worse. Sam tells Lucky that he had no right to follow her to Liz's studio. He asks her why she's in scrubs. Sam admits that she wore a disguise. She suspects that Liz is helping Jason and that's what she came over to find out. Sam and Lucky look at Liz for some answers.
Locked in the barn, Nikolas and Emily talk about their relationship today, versus who they were two years ago. He admits that he doesn't quite understand what their relationship is, technically, at this point. Emily asks him what he'd like it to be. He won't answer her right away and she misinterprets that he must not want anything more than friendship. He quickly clarifies that he hurt her (when he left her for Courtney). How could she ever trust him again? “Because I love you,” she tells him quietly.
Mike pours Carly and Dillon a fresh cup of coffee after they take a seat at a table. Carly wants to know what kind of mixed signals Dillon is giving Lulu. How is Lulu supposed to move on with her life with Dillon lurking around worrying about her all the time? Dillon clarifies that he still loves Georgie, but he is concerned about Lulu. Carly says that she understands how it can be that a person loves 2 people at once. She understands how one person can be safe and the other person exciting and you're stuck wondering which one would be best for you. Dillon wisely asks Carly if they are still talking about him, or have they moved on to her?
At the art studio, Sam quizzes Liz about Jason and suggests if she knows anything that maybe Lucky will let it slide just this once. Lucky insists to Sam that Elizabeth would NEVER risk their baby to help Jason! Liz remains wide-eyed and quiet through the whole exchange. Sam pretends that she believes her and takes off. Lucky starts talking about the baby and how excited he is. He only wishes that Laura could be around for the birth. He tells Liz that if the baby is a girl, he'd like to name her Laura. Liz doesn't seem to know what to say.
At Alcazar's warehouse, Max takes the thugs away. Milo is struck by how cute Lulu is. Sonny wants to know why Lulu is drunk. Jason wants to go after Spinelli. Lulu wants to know why Jason is so grumpy. She slurs, “…is it some kind of guy thing when you get hit in the hair by a girl?” Sonny tells them to finish this fascinating story later, they need to find Spinelli!

Carly meets up with Jax and they kiss hello. He springs on her that his lawyer is asking about a pre-nup. She hasn't really thought about that. They laugh that a while ago, she might have married him for his money, but now that she owns half of the hotel, she has her own money. She supposes a pre-nup could be a good safeguard for both of them. Jax chafes a little at the word “safe.” He asks her if she's marrying him because she thinks he's safe.
Lulu is sitting in the back of Sonny's limo between Sonny and Jason. She's still rambling. She asks Sonny if he ever sticks his head out the skylight like in the movies. She says that now she understands her dad and his “adventure gene.” Jason wants her to focus on remembering the town that Spinelli mentioned, maybe he has gone there. So far all they've been able to get her to remember that it was his grandmother's house in Tennessee. Then, Lulu remembers that the name of the town has something to do with a tree. “Oak something.” Lulu freaks out when the limo driver drives past her road, Shoreline Drive. Sonny tells her that they're not going home just yet.

Dillon has met Georgie and thanks her for the research that she borrowed from Jax. He's absent minded though, and staring at his cell phone. Georgie realizes that he's still thinking about Lulu and gets angry with him.
In the limo, Lulu remembers that Spinelli said that his grandmother lives in Oakfield, Tennessee. Sonny says he'll take her home now, make her some food and sober her up. Jason tells him that Lulu will be coming with him to Tennessee.
Sam, in scrubs with a sweater hood over her head, makes it to Alcazar's warehouse, but runs into Detective Cruse. He tells her that he's not surprised to see her there, but she's too late, whoever was there is gone now.
Emily tells Nikolas that she loves him. Just the way he is, not as a prince or the boy she had a crush on as a teenager. It's the real love that's made of trust and forgiveness. She has forgiven him. He tells her that he can't pretend that she is just his friend any longer. He tells her that he's never stopped loving her and never will. They kiss briefly, and then step back. He slowly undresses her, as she watches. Then he gently lays her down.
