What Have I Done? Thursday, September 10 2009

Edward learns what happened, Jason learns about Edward, Patrick learns about Dominic, Max wakes up, Michael finds Kristina, Robin clears Edward, Olivia prays and Jason sees something shocking.

As Jason looks at this son through the window, he tells Sam whoever did this will not get away with it. Lulu walks up to them asking about Jake and then tells them Edward had a heart attack and was the one driving the car. Lulu walks into Jake’s room and Sam thinks it’s a good thing that Edward doesn’t know Jake is his great-grandson.

Rebecca talks to a comatose Edward before he is wheeled into surgery. Nikolas watches as Rebecca breaks down in tears. Ethan comes in to comfort Rebecca and she asks him to stay with her.

After Patrick talks to them, Olivia tells Sonny she can contact Dominic’s mother and Sonny wonders if she has a problem with him doing it.

As Claudia walks past her, Kristina slowly wakes up from under the rubble of the carnival ride and sees her stepmother’s shoes. Michael finds Claudia and learns she hasn’t found his sister yet. As Claudia talks about what happened, Michael remembers being in a coma and hearing Claudia saying she didn’t mean for him to get hurt. Michael tells Claudia Kristina is not dead and he will find her.

Patrick tells Dominic his kidneys are shutting down and he may need a transplant. He says he asked Sonny to contact his mother and Dominic instructs Patrick to let it go.

Sonny calls Bernie and leaves a message for him to give him Dominic's contact information. Alexis and Molly walk up to Sonny and tell him Kristina is missing.

Lucky tells Lulu, Sam and Jason that Jake has a mild concussion and they are running more tests, but it looks like he’ll be okay.

Rebecca tells Ethan he may have saved Edward’s life, as his actions got him to the ER quickly. Rebecca wonders why Edward had a heart attack since he was in good health.

Milo sits by Max’s bed and Louise comes in to check on him. Milo tells her Max is still out and she tells him how Max saved her life by pushing her out of the way of the car and then Max wakes up.

Jason is torn about Edward and wonders if he was drunk at the time of his heart attack. He also knows Edward would like to know he has a great grandson, but Jason will never let that secret out. He notes both Jake and Edward could have died and neither one knows they are connected. Sam says he knows it and that’s why he’s there - for Edward and his son and Jason thanks her. Sam doesn't think she did anything, but Jason corrects her.

Claudia runs into Sonny, Alexis and Molly in the hospital and tells them the rescue workers are still looking for Kristina. She says Michael is trying to find her too and Sonny takes off.

Michael runs in after Sonny is prevented from going to find his kids and Kristina is wheeled in after him. She tells everyone Michael led the rescue workers to her. She’s happy to see Sonny there and he wonders where else he would be.

Lulu runs into Nikolas and tells him about Jake and Nikolas goes to find Liz and Lucky.

Olivia goes to Dante’s room and he tells her to get out of there because she will blow his cover. Olivia doesn’t care because he could have been killed. He tells her he might need a transplant and as Patrick comes to the door, he overhears Olivia say that Dominic is her son Dante. Olivia doesn’t care about Dante’s case; she just wants him to be okay. Dante wants her to keep quiet until they are sure he needs a kidney, but Olivia will only promise that she won’t let him die.

Outside of Jake’s room, Lucky tells Liz she is the strongest person he knows and he and the boys can always count on her. Lucky thinks they have become the family he’s always dreamed of and he’s glad she is in his life. He then says goodnight to Jake before he takes off to help Mac.

Jason asks Epiphany about Edward and she says she will let him know when he is back in his room.

Michael sees Claudia and she tells him he’s a hero for finding his sister. He thinks she must have walked right past Kristina while she was under the rubble and Claudia assumes she was passed out. Michael says Kristina was awake when he found her.

Jason and Sonny meet up and discuss Edward, Jake, Kristina, Morgan and Dominic. Sonny says he has Bernie tracking down Dominic’s parents, but it’s the last thing a parent wants to hear.

Mac questions Rebecca about Edward and Ethan gets defensive. Mac is trying to find out if Edward was drunk when he had his heart attack because if he was then he is in serious trouble.

Olivia sits in the chapel and prays for Dante. She doesn’t know what to do because whatever choice she makes could kill him. She asks God for a sign.

Lulu visits Dominic who has the energy to flirt with her. She thanks him for saving Morgan and he downplays his injuries. She says the day he walks out of the hospital she will go out with him. He says, “It’s a date.”

Jason comes to Edward’s room and Rebecca tells him the surgery went well and Monica and Tracy are on their way back. She says the cops are asking about drunk driving, but she thinks something else caused Edward to drive through the carnival. Jason leaves and Rebecca finds Edward awake who asks, “What have I done?” Ethan and Mac walk in and Mac tells Edward he ran his car through the carnival and a lot of people were hurt and even killed. Edward insists he wasn’t drunk and Robin comes in (after looking at Edward's chart) confirming it and says someone was trying to kill him.

Michael sits with Kristina, who is waiting for an x-ray. She tells her brother someone found her before Michael did, but she walked away. She says it was a woman and she got a good look at her shoes.

Nikolas comes to see Elizabeth and she runs into his arms. She tells him Jake will be okay and she’s glad he’s there. They start kissing and Jason turns the corner and sees them.

Kristina comes out and Sonny sends his family home and goes to see Dominic. As Kristina gets on the elevator, she notices Claudia’s shoes.

Sonny finds an upset Olivia in the chapel. She says she asked God for a sign and she got one. She knows exactly what she needs to do.

Jason worries about Nikolas being in Jake’s life.
