So, do we start commenting here, or continue on Friday??

I colored my hair myself, then remembered why I pay so much for someone else to do it! My hair is dangerouly close to Claudia's color but should be more like... I can't think of anyone, maybe Elizabeth's or Alexis'.

Several of you mention Claudia's all black wardrobe, which is annoying, but I can't stand that everything she wears is sleeveless. I find her arms to be too manly and wish she would wear sleeves.

I'm finally caught up on all episodes. I'm almost glad today will be a rerun because it took me all weekend to watch the 3 that I missed.

Looking very forward to this week's carnival episode. I hate that they're making it look like one of the kids will die.

TNBuckle - sorry to hear about your haircoloring misadventures - but maybe the color will grow on you? You never know! Gotta disagree with you about Claudia's arms - if I had to choose between my arms (no muscle definition at all) or Claudia's (which I think have nice muscle defnintion, but not overly manly), I'd choose Claudia's arms in a second! But to each her own!

Sorry to all about my absence from the board over the weekend, but after Friday at work, I wanted to stay as far away from a computer as possible. I have a big presentation in front of the VIP's of the company on what I do, why they should care, what the company policies require in this area, etc. I spent a week working on this so it would be perfect, considering the audience. The subject matter's not simple, so I had about 20 slides of material, but I have an hour, so that shouldn't have been an issue. I showed it to my boss and he had me add 5 slides and then he took it to review it with someone else (who I already know thinks I use too many words!! LOL Go figure, right?). AT 4 PM on Friday, I get a call from my boss telling me that he wants me to condense my 25 slides down to no more than 7 slides (at which point, my head exploded). So, on a Friday before a holiday weekend, I was at work until after 6:30 PM completely re-working my presentation and trying my best to be brief (which the regulars here will already know is NOT my strong suit! LOL) while actually still conveying some information of value (i.e. - not being so generic or high level that I only tell them what they already know).

So, again, sorry for not posting until now, but I hope you understand (and I hope y'all read this as we continue to post up to the new show broadcast on Tuesday!).

Now, on to my favorite subject, Claudia, I am really, really hoping that we are being punked by TSW about Claudia's plan for revenge on Kristina. Having spent a good chunk of the day yesterday actually watching the week's episodes in succession, I have to point out that when Claudia found out that Kristina caused the accident and went to see Johnny to complain about it, Claudia said how Sonny and Alexis were in her living room discussing how to cover it all up like her son was some dirty little secret. AND THEN Claudia said, "They won't get away with this." Not, "she" meaning Kristina, but "they" meaning Sonny and Alexis. I'm really hoping that's what Claudia really has in mind because she really, really does have so much in common with Kristina and it would be nice to see them actually bond. It would be good for Kristina to have at least one adult in her life that doesn't fall for her "good girl" act, because without that, Kristina's going to spin even further out of control even faster than she's already doing.

But, I wouldn't put it past Claudia to get Kristina up on that ferris wheel and think about having Kristina "accidentally fall" - kids get hurt at carnivals all the time, right? But I don't think Claudia'd actually do it, but I think she'll think about it. Wouldn't it be ironic if Claudia getting Kristina up in that ferris wheel is what actually ends up keeping Kristina safe from Edward's driving or those guys with guns or something? Just saying...

Also, I agree that it was really nice to see Claudia and Sonny out with the kids as an actual family, having fun and smiling (of course, Sonny should know that's just asking for disaster, because that's the same thing that happened just before Michael got shot).

And I agree that the danger for Kristina is from Keifer, not Claudia. Claudia really wants to stay married to Sonny and I just don't think she'll be able to really go through with anything against his daughter - at least nothing physical. I can see Claudia really becoming Kristina's "friend" and then giving her bad advice, or helping Kristina continue go down the wrong path - you know, stuff Claudia couldn't really be directly blamed for by Sonny, but what still puts Kristina in a place where she suffers -- kind of going the psychological route instead of the physical. JMO, of course.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and I'll try to check in tomorrow PM (my meeting is in the AM)!

First time poster, long long time viewer. Reading the comments is almost as exciting as the show. Looking forward to being part of the family.

Ring; good luck tomorrow at work!!

Claudia/ I do feel she's had a rotten chance at life and really hope she stops the revenge. Don't want to lose S.B. but also feel she fits well with Sonny. Stop with the black depressing clothes please.

Sonny/ You gotta love those dimples, no Father of the year for him. Why he's chasing Olivia is beyond me. She's hot with Johnny but thats about it. Sonny will forgive Olivia when the truth comes out...Claudia is going to put Olivia thru hell for this.

Jax/ JMO but I'm not a big fan. Mr. Wannabe Perfect gets on my last nerve. For some odd reason I feel he will end up with Olivia when all the truths come out.

Teens/ Great acting and really enjoying their characters. Kristina needs some street sense pretty fast, hope Michael kicks Keiffers A**. Molly; what a doll.

JaSam/ I love them. Great how they are taking it slow; hope the next intimate scene is shown much longer than just a few minutes...so I can rewind/repeat. LOL

Be safe everyone!!

Welcome, EastOcean! I don't like Jax either, but I do like Olivia, so I hope they don't end up together. But I think you could be right.

Ring, good luck with your presentation!

Red:Molly had a theory that is you factored in the circumfrence (sp?) of the ball, the distance you had to throw it, the speed that the ball travelled, and the strength of your throw, you could come up with an equation which would make it work. And she did. As for white pants, back 'in the day" wearing white after Labor Day was THE fashion faux pas! Even though fashion experts now say that it's perfectly acceptable & fashionable, many people - including me - don't wear white after Labor day. There was a comedy starring Kathleen Turner where she played a "killer mom". She shot people for things like not rewinding their movies before returning them & other things that violated her idea of manners or her etiquette standards. She was finally caught & put on trial. During the trial she looked at one of the jurors & whispered to her lawyed that the juror was wearing white after Labor Day. From the look in her eyes, it was pretty obvious what she intended to do when the trial was over!

herangel: Another Edge Of Night fan? That was one of the greats! I remember a lot of the names. Amy, Nancy, Mike, Adam, Raven, Sky, Mauve (pronounced Mave), Keith & Colin Whitley, Steve, Annie - who for some reason Steve felt he had to call Anniebananny - anyting ring a bell. I'm just glad somebody else remembers it at all.

TNb: I used to be able to color my hair at home with no problem. Then the gray grew more & more. After that, the first time I colored it myself it was a complete disaster! I can't even describe the color that was the finished product - part orange, red in some places & still gray in others. My hair's natural color is dark blonde & I chose the approprite color to buy. I thought it would never grow out! I never tried to color it myself again. Even in these economic times the only thing that I have changed is that I go every 6 weeks instead of every 4. I cut back on other things so I can afford it. How long does it usually take your hair to grow out? Maybe if you called your regular Beauty Parlor, they could give you some advice to tide you over. Let us know how you make out. Good luck! If we absolutely had to have a rerun today, why couldn't we have had an older episode? Something that people who have watched a long time could walk down Memory Lane with and show the relevant new comers what it used to be like.

Ring: Good to hear from you. Soooooooo, how did your presentation go? Don't keep us in suspense. Congratulations on not committing justifiable homicide at work......I, too, hope that Claudia & Sonny when she said "they won't get away with it. I knew exactly how she felt. I thought Sonny was acknowledging (sp?) how important the baby was when he set up that scholarship. I was really touched. But that was fleeting. I said in another post that I would start screaming & never stop if I heard Sonny tell Kristina that it wasn't her fault! I'm sorry, what part wasn't her fault? Stealing the car? I know it's her mother's car but taking it without permission is stealing. Driving without a licence? Not pulling over when she was upset? Reckless driving? Driving to endanger? Leaving the scene without checking to see if anyone was hurt? Calling Keifer to help her cover it up? Letting Michael take the blame & the fallout? Running off with Michael to Mexico & planning to let everybody think it was "because Michael was so messed up"? She would have been perfectly happy to go with that story if Molly hadn't broken in & told her they knew the truth. But in Sonny's mind that all added up to"It wasn't your fault". God, I want her to pay, never mind Claudia. I would love to trade arms with SB too....I loved the scenes with Sonny & Claudia, too. SB & MB have had great onscreen chemistry since she played Carly. I wish they had more scenes of them having fun together, cooking together, etc.

East: Good to have a new friend. I hope you keep posting. We are a big family but like any family we have our different opinions. Some very different opinions. But pretty much everybody is respectful of people who don't agree with them & don't take it personally. A few of us really understand why Claudia is the way she is & where she's coming from. Out of all the women Sonny has been with I believe she is the best because she lives the same life style. Kate, Brenda, Lily & even Carly, knew his life style but didn't actually live it. She's got to stop putting out hits though. It always goes wrong! I don't want to lose Sarah Brown either. She had better be on next years Daytime Emmy list........"Mr. Perfect Wannabee". Exactly! He's on my last nerve, too. Jax & Olivia??? Not a bad idea. They're good friends already. They are both going to be on the outside looking in when all these secrets blow up in their faces. Could happen. Keep posting.
