The boardroom is finally cleared, Lucky breaks into the hospital to give strength to Liz and Leyla crashes.
Maxie is grumbling to Johnny about how being stranded in a blizzard at home would be much better than this garage. Johnny tells her that with a little vision, he can see it as a great place to for a custom car shop. The more he talks, the more he realizes that Port Charles could use a place like that. Maxie tells him that he needs to make it happen since that's clearly what his passion is. Johnny says that she surprises him with all her talk dreams and passion. She explains that Georgie taught her about reaching for goals back when all she cared about was the next party. She says it was kismet for her when Kate came to Port Charles to set up a fashion magazine. When she tells him about her article about the death of espadrilles, he sprays beer out of his nose. She credits Spinelli for believing in her and Johnny says that Lulu does that for him. Maxie says that she knows she'll blow it with Spinelli some day and she wishes she could get it over with.
Over at The Haunted Star, Ethan tries to con Luke out of shooting him. Always one to enjoy a good con, Luke gives him points for creativity. Ethan asks where they go from here and Luke informs him that he has something in mind. He deals some cards and picks Ethan's brain about his travels. Luke finds out that he never met his father and that booze and women top his list of priorities. Luke smells a kindred spirit. He says that it would be better to have Ethan working for the house than against it and offers Ethan a job as a dealer. Ethan turns it down, so Luke tells him not to come around and hassle his customers then.
Things at General Hospital are going from bad to worse. Someone in a hazmat suit is in the OR on the 10th floor putting one of the spheres in a jar.
"My wife's down, she needs help!" Sonny yells through the boardroom door. Claudia struggles to tell Sonny something about her father while Anthony looks on. Patrick shows up at the door and Carly tells him that Claudia has collapsed. After she's taken away, Anthony acts concerned and Sonny says that whatever Claudia was trying to tell him won't be good for him. Anthony rolls his chair over to Ric and seethes a warning that if Claudia told Sonny about Kate's shooting, he's a dead man.
Epiphany is in ICU sitting with Liz when she wakes up. As she tells her what happened, she can see how difficult it is for her to breathe. She slips out into the hallway to give Jason an update. The bio toxin is squeezing off Elizabeth's lungs, she tells him.
As Jason returns to see what he can do to help, Claudia is wheeled by him. She tries to tell him something about warning Sonny about her father but can't say any more. Jason tries to get it out of her, but she's out.
Down in the boardroom, Tracy and Edward pick Nadine's brain about how toxins work. She gives her best guess and, through the door, Patrick says that they'll decontaminate next, one by one. Tracy says that Edward goes first, but Sonny says that Carly's a mother and should go first. Somehow Anthony gets to go first and yells, "So long suckers," to everyone on his way out of the room. Tracy grumbles and accuses Sonny about this being his fault until it's time for someone else to leave. Everyone volunteers Tracy just so they can have some peace. Carly tells Ric to go next and offers to hang back with Sonny. He compliments her for being so tough in the midst of a crisis.
The boardroom phone rings and Carly answers it. She's thrilled to hear Jax's voice. He explains that he turned the jet around because he started to think about all the times he wasn't there for her. Carly thanks him and tells him that she loves him.
Tracy is taken to the showers to get a scrub down by Epiphany!
Patrick is with Matt in ICU. He tells him about the poison spheres and how the entire OR team went down after the first surgical incision. Through his oxygen mask, Matt says this whole thing is his fault. Patrick says that he couldn't have known that the patient was hiding poison. He adds that he's the one who saw the X-rays but didn't run fast enough, so it's really on him.
On a nearby cot Leyla wakes up. Through her gasps, she tells Patrick that she needs to tell him how happy she is for him about the happiness he's found with Robin. She says that she has found her own now, too, and it all works out in the end. Then she codes and Patrick does his best to revive her.
Mac has paged Lucky and when they hook up out front of GH, he explains what's going on. When Lucky recalls that Liz was working today, Mac says that she is in critical condition. Lucky wants to do something to help but Mac says they need to wait for the Feds to make a plan. Jax shows up to ask how he can help and Lucky slips away when Mac's not looking.
Lucky breaks into the hospital and pushes past Lulu, Jason and Sam on his way to Elizabeth. Lulu sits with Spinelli and asks him to use his laptop to try to find Johnny. Instead, he finds that Maxie's car has been found crashed and abandoned on Highway 10.
When Liz opens her eyes, she finds Lucky sitting with her. She tells him that he shouldn't be here, but he says that he won't let her fight alone. He intends to stay by her side and remind her of everything she has to live for.
Fresh from the showers, Anthony wheels passed the room where Claudia is being kept. He goes inside and talks to her even though she's out. "You're my daughter, flesh of my flesh, but your mother's treachery is in there too" he states and then grumbles about idiot Ric telling her everything. He tells her that instead of coming to him, she was going to rat him out to Sonny and she knows what that means. "I have to shut you up for good," he says without any sign of emotion.
As Jason and Sam look at the ghost town of an operating room, they notice that there are only three spheres left. "This just got a whole lot worse didn't it?" Sam asks Jason.

Anthony's plans to kill Claudia fall to the wayside when Sonny shows up.
Trevor discovers that Anthony can walk and realizes that he was Kate's shooter.
Kate convinces Olivia to go back to the boardroom to retrieve the DVD.
Olivia tries, but it's missing.
Spinelli and Winifred team up to see who stole the missing sphere.
Robin finally finds the courage to touch her baby and realizes that she has a high fever.
Patrick gets a voicemail from Robin saying that she's bringing Emma into the ER.
Johnny asks Maxie to sleep with him to finally seal the fate of their other doomed relationships.
