Sadness is in the air as Georgie's friends and family say goodbye, Carly has sad news, and Luke's surgery is on Christmas Eve.

Carly rushes into her house with a home pregnancy test that she immediately hides from Jax. He tries to snag the bag from her thinking it's another holiday ornament that she couldn't resist. She is adamant that she won't let him ruin the surprise. He starts to decorate the house and Carly says that they really need white lights, not the red ones they already have. After he goes out to buy some, she starts up the stairs to take the test, but Mercedes and the boys return home with mistletoe. Carly shelves her plan to slip into the bathroom and they all dig in to decorate.

The mood is pretty dismal at the Scorpio house. Maxie is angry at Felicia and tells her that she's riding to the funeral with Coop. Felicia helps her clasp a bracelet and tells her it is beautiful. Maxie says that she wouldn't know anything about it because it was Georgie's. After Felicia leaves, Coop arrives and Maxie says that she doesn't know if she can bear today.

At the hospital, Tracy is thrilled when she checks in with Luke's doctor and learns that he has agreed to surgery. She rushes into his room and Luke admits that it was Lulu who convinced him. He says that he saw everyone he's ever cared about when he looked in Lulu's eyes begging him yesterday, including his wife. "This is my family, I ain't gonna bail on 'em," he says. Tracy says that she is grateful to Lulu. As she kisses him, Dillon arrives and Luke is happy to see "Young Spielberg" in spite of the circumstances. Dillon assures them that he is going to be okay. Then Luke congratulates him on his budding career and Tracy says that she is proud of him, too. Lulu arrives and Tracy thanks her for changing Luke's mind. Then she asks Lulu and Dillon to pay her respects at Georgie's funeral, but Dillon says that he needs her there - especially because she was so awful to Georgie while she was alive.

Mac has already arrived at the church, and Robin arrives soon after. They can't believe that they're about to bury Georgie and Mac says that it's because he failed her. He says he should've caught the killer a long time ago. Robin tells him that he never once let his daughters down. She reminds Mac that he committed to raising them all when their parents weren't there. She says that they all felt just as loved as any kid in any normal family -- because of him. Robin says that Georgie's compassion was a reflection of the best of him. Mac is clearly touched by her words.

People start coming into the church, first Edward and then Ric and Skye. Felicia has taken her place next to Mac and they receive the guests together, along with Robin. Patrick offers his sympathies to Robin and then Mike has some great stories to share with Felicia about how Georgie befriended the customers at Kelly's.

After a while, Mac is worried about Maxie's whereabouts, and Felicia tells him that she's having a hard time. Mac says that he warned her about Maxie's attitude toward her and she shouldn't beat herself up today, Georgie wouldn't have wanted it. Maxie finally arrives and the family takes their seats in the front pew.

While the funeral is going on, Luke is left to his own devices at the hospital. Until "Natasha" (Alexis) shows up for a visit, that is. They laugh for a while and then Alexis asks if he feels like a four-year old all of a sudden (the way she did when she had cancer). She gently advises Luke to let himself be vulnerable for a while because if he lets the doctors take care of him he gets to stay alive.

Back at the church, Maxie begins the service by stepping up to the podium. She has lovely words to say about the people who shaped Georgie into the incredible person she was. She starts with Mac by discussing the way he raised them. She called him "the greatest gift in Georgie's life." She addresses Dillon, too, and thanks him for showing Georgie true, romantic love. She thanks Bobbie for being a wonderful surrogate mother, and then Robin for being the sister that she could never be to Georgie. She even calls Spinelli out for making Georgie never feel alone.

Then she singles out Felicia because she deserves "special attention." Her tone changes as she mentions how Felicia dumped them and ran off. Mac starts to object, but Felicia stops him. Maxie's acid tongue kicks into high gear as she tells Felicia that she has no right to be here. The crowd is very uncomfortable, but it's Mac who finally stands up and tells her that she can't honor her sister by dishonoring her mother. Maxie goes on to say that either Felicia leaves or she will. Felicia leaves.

Dillon rushes out of the church to comfort her. He tells her that he knows for a fact that Georgie never once doubted her mother's love for her. Felicia is in tears, but she eats his words up. He says that he and Georgie would get in crazy situations and when Georgie would find their way out, she credited her mother for teaching her things.
Tracy returns to Luke's hospital bed with a somber face. She tells him that she won't make it through another funeral so he'd better be strong. She tells him about the "eulogy from hell" that Maxie delivered and that she ripped Felicia to shreds. Luke is surprised to hear that Felicia is in town, but then asks what's really bothering her. Tracy says that she can imagine Dillon or Ned doing the same thing to her because she deserves it. Dr. Julian comes in and informs them that Luke's surgery is set for tomorrow. Tracy tells him it's Christmas Eve! Luke likes the idea of being under heavy anesthesia on the dreaded day of "Xmas" appeals to him.

At Carly's house, Jax keeps bugging her about the surprise. She sends him and the boys outside to get some wood so she can go upstairs, but then Lulu shows up at the door. She tells Carly about Maxie's eulogy and how it made her sick to her stomach without even really knowing Felicia. After Lulu leaves, Carly finally has her chance to go upstairs (and take the pregnancy test). When the guys come back inside she's crying and tells Jax that her Christmas surprise isn't going to happen.

Robin shows up on Patrick's doorstep. She says that she just feels so bad for Georgie, for Felicia, for everyone. "It would be really nice if you would just hold me," she cries. Naturally, he does and then she kisses him. Then he kisses her.

Felicia has gone to the cemetery to say a private goodbye to Georgie. As she apologizes for all of the mistakes she had made, Maxie listens from behind a tree.

Mac goes home to an empty house and remembers all of his years with Georgie. It's enough to rip a person's heart out.
