Luke has a plan to get Laura back. Sam learns about Jason's arrest. Maxie and Logan continue planning his "conquest" of Lulu. Carly and Kate butt heads.
At the Metro Court, Jax tells Carly that he is going to find out what happened to his brother. Carly could care less about Jerry and tells Jax that things need to change between them - fast! Jax asks her to understand the bond between him and Jerry just like he understands the bond between she, Sonny and Jason.
At Sonny's, Kate arrives with a bag. She tells Sonny that the boys just harpooned her very expensive fish! Sonny finds it amusing but promises to make reparations. "When did you switch from eating fish to keeping them as pets?" Sonny asks. Kate informs him that koi aren't food, they are decorative fish! They exchange barbs, both enjoying their time together. Sonny tells her that he likes Connie Falconeri a lot more than Kate, annoying her because she doesn't like to think about her past. "What are you going to do next?" she asks, telling Sonny that nothing he or his children can do will make her leave! Kate believes Sonny is trying to make her leave the property. He assures her that he doesn't want the property. She goes on against the kids as Carly walks in the door! She tells Kate to stay away from her kids! They argue with Sonny simply watching. Kate leaves and Carly turns her anger on him!
At the Metro court, Kate orders more koi and runs into Jax. He says Carly will be thrilled to learn that she is staying at the hotel but Kate isn't so sure. She asks Jax to smooth things over between her and Carly, making Jax wonder just what happened between them. She doesn't tell him everything, just says they hate each other, she does tell him about the fish incident. Jax begins to see the picture. Jax talks about the kids, telling Kate that they are good boys but promising to keep them off of her property. Carly arrives, annoyed to see Kate with Jax. "You can follow Sonny all over town but stay away from my husband," she says!
The judge tells Scotty that he is the new guardian for Laura, stunning Luke, Lucky and Lulu. He tells Scott to make provisions for any type of familial visitation. Unable to take it, Lucky bursts out that Laura wouldn't want Scott in any part of her life! Alexis objects, telling the judge that taking away Nikolas' guardianship is wrong. "My decision stands," the judge says. Alexis tells him she will appeal. After the court is adjourned, Scott tells them that he is only acting in Laura's best interests. In the hall, Nikolas apologizes for not being able to stop Scott. Bobbie tells them things will be fine, that Laura will never know. Luke isn't so sure; he thanks Nikolas for trying to stop Scott. Alexis comes over, promising to appeal the judge's order. She asks them all to set up visitation before they leave and then takes off. Everyone leaves except Lulu and Luke, who are both in a daze. Angry, Lulu rages about the judge and Scott. Luke tells her to be strong, not to fold. Lulu realizes that what matters is that Laura's wishes be honored - and that includes having Luke in her life. "He's not going to get away with this," Luke promises and walks away.
At home, Tracy talks to Alan, who is sympathetic to her predicament. He talks about the love between Luke and Laura but Tracy disagrees. She is beginning to think that Luke only feels pity for Laura! Luke arrives and she asks him not to follow through with whatever he is planning against Scott! He tells her he is going to kidnap Laura, to protect her from Scott. Alan tells Tracy it's a bad idea for her to back up the plan. Luke begins planning the kidnapping and Tracy wonders how long he'll be gone. He promises to come back to her. Tracy wants to believe him but isn't sure she can. Luke takes her in his arms, telling her that he loves her. "I give you my word, I will always come back to you," he says and kisses her passionately.
On the plane, Sam and Amelia talk about the shows they just taped. Sam is excited to get home and tell Jason how everything went. Amelia wonders if Jason will really be excited at how well everything went. Sam assures her that he will be, believing that her life has finally turned around. She talks about her plans for becoming a mom and Amelia wonders if Jason will fall in line with Sam's plans. She says she will go through with it, even if Jason isn't on board! She believes that having a child, any child, will detract from the bond between Jason and Liz! Once home, Sam goes straight to the hospital and asks the nurse about her eggs. Ric sees her, wondering why she is at the hospital instead of by Jason's side - in the jail! Sam is stunned. Ric digs in the wound, wondering why Jason's first call wasn't to Sam. He leaves. Sam heads out, too.
At the jail, Ric threatens Spinelli. He says if Spinelli doesn't spill the beans on Alcazar's murder, Spinelli will be charged along with Jason. Spinelli agrees to talk! Ric starts a tape recorder and Spinelli begins to talk about The Lord Of The Rings! Ric gets mad and tells Spinelli that he'll be the next one behind bars! After he leaves, Spinelli shrugs. Ric returns and takes Spinelli's computer. "Is there anything incriminating on that computer?" Jason asks. Spinelli tells him that is a blank computer - no personal files of any kind! He is very proud of his work. He also tells Jason that he has booby-trapped the computers at the penthouse! Jason tells Spinelli to go home and stay out of trouble. Spinelli leaves as Elizabeth arrives. He tells her she should have stayed away. Liz offers any kind of help he needs. Jason tells her not to worry about him and asks her to concentrate on being a good mom to her boys. "I made the right decision," he says, believing that his life would only mar the life of Jake. Lucky barges in, wondering why Liz is there. He asks Liz to leave and she does. Sam arrives, stunned to see Jason behind bars. She asks why he didn't tell her about the arrest himself.
In the station lobby, Elizabeth angrily tells Lucky not to treat her like a child! Lucky follows her, still angry that she went to see Jason instead of coming with him to the courthouse. He tells her about the developments, angry that she wasn't there to support his family.
Amelia heads to Sonny's, calling her partner to get more dirt on Sam. She learns that Sam was involved with a carjacking ring. Sonny comes out, wondering why she is there. Amelia takes off her shoes, ready to stay put for a while. She kisses Sonny and they make love! Sonny picks up the file on Sam and begins to thumb through it. She tries to take it from him but he keeps looking, wondering what Amelia is up to.
