Alexis is full of it as she and Ric discuss her choices, Michael finally lets his parents escape their basement prison and Lucky hears something puzzling from Sam.

Amelia and Sam are going over some "Everyday Hero" details at the penthouse and Amelia asks Sam if she's planning on getting pregnant any time soon. Sam asks why getting pregnant would pose a problem for the show. Amelia points out that hosting her show will involve scaling walls, jumping and other physical threats to an unborn child. Sam sharply tells Amelia that she can't have children so doing her "Precious show" won't be a problem. Amelia empathizes and then says her goodbyes.

Ric is at Alexis's house and tells her that there must be someone she can lean on besides a random stranger that she meets on a cliff. She explains that the people that she counted on the most had sex together on her living room floor. She tells him that he then took away her child while she was fighting for her life. (Craig is peeking through the window.) Ric tells her that one thing he did wrong was admitting that he loved her. He tells her to look at her pattern. Ned, Cameron and himself all admitted their love for her and bam --her walls went up. He says that the only man that she hasn't ended up separating from was Sonny and that's because he never vowed love for her. He points out that her own father never said he loved her either and she has some serious "Daddy issues". "Your mommy issues trump my daddy issues any day," Alexis tells him. Ric gets up to leave and Alexis asks if he'd consider letting Molly sleep over. He tells her that she looks like hell and maybe she should let Kristina go home with him, or he could sleep over there. "I'd rather walk on broken glass than let you stay here."

Carly and Sonny are bargaining with Michael through the locked basement door. He knows he's in big trouble, but he tells them that they belong together. He says that there is food under the blanket on the shelves and then runs off. Meanwhile, Jax has arrived for his date with Carly and Morgan has answered the door. Michael comes into the family room and tells Jax that his mom is at the hotel with their dad talking about the hotel workers. Jax says that of course their mom would take off with their dad. Before he leaves, he asks them if they are home alone and Michael assures him that Leticia is upstairs.

Lulu has stormed into Sonny's office to tell Jason why Lucky needs to remain the father of Liz's baby. Spinelli speaks up for Jason and says that Jason is internalizing his pain by riding his bike recklessly late at night. He says that Stone Cold is hurting and…Lulu screams at him that he is a geek and knows nothing about life outside of cyber space. Spinelli looks crushed, Jason thanks him for his support but he wants to talk to Lulu alone. "Consider the interloper banished" Spinelli says as he leaves the room. Lulu feels badly for being so mean to Spinelli, but tells Jason that he and Liz made the right decision. The baby will grow up with a family that includes Grandma Leslie, Aunt Bobby, Uncle Luke, etc. Then she tells him that there's someone else who will influence the baby that they haven't even thought of yet. Sam. She points out that if he brings home a baby that he created with another woman, Sam might always look at the child and see the betrayal. Lulu's voice is cracking as she tells Jason that she feels for him - she knows what it's like to lose a child. He tells her that she doesn't have to "go there" and that he made up his mind, he'll stick with it.
At the hospital Lucky has asked Liz why she's so upset about his ideas for the baby's name. Liz tells Lucky that she simply hopes that the baby will come into the world and tell them who he or she is on her own. Lucky thinks that is a fine idea, but offers a compromise. If it's a boy, Liz can name him; if it's a girl, he gets to name her. Liz agrees and then they agree to celebrate their first month back together by going to the Metro Court for dinner.

In the basement, Carly asks Sonny if he helped Michael to lock them down there. He says that he didn't, but they've both helped their son to learn how to fight for what he loves. Sonny looks at the food that Michael stashed and they marvel at how thoughtful he was. He has packed chips, wine, a corkscrew and napkins with dinosaurs on them. There is also a family photo on each item. Carly tells Sonny to do what's right and let her go. She tells him that one more bad round with him would destroy the person that she has worked so hard to be. She can't fall back into his dark and stormy world because that would wreck them all. He says that he hates that they wasted all of those years. He doesn't know how to stop wanting her to love him the same way she used to. She tells him that she can't stop loving him. "Let me make up for the past," he softly says.
Jax arrives at the Metro Court and asks Max if he knows where Carly and Sonny are talking about the strike. Max says that there is no strike as far as he knows. Jax asks Max who he would rather see her with - himself or Sonny. Max says that he would go by whatever Mrs. C wants.

Milo is at the coffee shop when Dillon comes in. He tells Milo that he's meeting Lulu for his "do-over date" and wants to know if he's seen her. Milo says that Spinelli shot out of Sonny's office and Lulu came out soon afterwards. They agree that Lulu and Spinelli are sneaking around and that they should go confront them. Milo cocks his gun and Dillon follows yelling "words and reason first, right Milo?"

Amelia is also sitting at the coffee shop when Jax comes in and joins her. She can tell that he's having a "crappy day" and offers to help. She tries not to stick her nose where it doesn't belong, but offers that this triangle with Sonny and Carly is pretty interesting. Jax asks her for a "human interest reality check." He explains the pattern that he and Carly are continually into and asks her opinion. Amelia says that it sounds like Carly is hopelessly connected to Sonny.

Spinelli is sullen as he tinkers on his laptop at Jason's place when there's a knock on the door. Lulu has come to apologize. They each admit that it's a difficult situation and Lulu asks if she is forgiven. "Before you even opened the door," he sweetly tells her. She gives him a big smile and they talk a little more about Jason and Lucky. Lulu tells him that Jason gave his word to keep the secret. Spinelli gives his word, too. She thanks him for being wonderful and hugs him. "Get your slimy cyber hands off of her, now." Dillon says as he and Milo bust through the door and catch them.

Craig knocks on Alexis's door. When she answers she is glad to see that he brought a prescription that she left at Windemere. He asks if she and Kristina are alone and she bristles at the question. He says that her daughter can't afford to find her passed out again. She lets him in and reluctantly explains that she's not feeling well. When Craig asks what he can do she tells him to go wake Kristina up, dress her and then take her to the hospital.

Liz runs into Jason at the Metro Court. He's meeting Sam for dinner and she is meeting Lucky. She tells him that they weren't able to get a picture of the baby's gender today and then asks him if he has any preferences for names. Lucky and Sam are each on their way and end up in the same elevator. They chit chat a little, then there's a bump and the elevator stops. Lucky's cell phone is dead and Sam laughs that the star of "Everyday Hero's" can't find her way out of an elevator. Lucky says that at least Liz and Jason can keep each other company while they wait for them to be discovered. Sam says, "You're so cool about it. Doesn't it ever bother you to see them together after last summer?" Lucky turns and gives her a curious look.

Just as Carly is about to give in to a kiss with Sonny, Michael comes down and lets them out. They lecture him about manipulating their lives and Carly runs to the phone to call Jax. She dials his cell, but he has left it at the table with Amelia while he retrieves two more cups of coffee. She sees that Carly is the person calling, so she decides to have some fun. She answers the phone and says that Jax's hands are full at the moment.
