...her father, Alexis does her best in court but the cards seem stacked against her, Alan explains his presence to Tracy, and Lulu agonizes over her situation.

"Shame Tracy…you should be ashamed of yourself," Alan chastises his sister while "sitting" in a chair in the Q study. Luke doesn't know who in the heck Spanky Buns is talking to. He curiously watches as his wife's has what looks to him like a one-sided conversation. Alan tells Tracy that he saw the whole fiasco at his will reading. Tracy can't believe her eyes, so Alan suggests that maybe he should put a white sheet over his head and go "wooo, wooo". Luke tells Tracy that she should go lie down and she does. After a while, she comes back into the study and pours herself a drink. Alan pops back into the chair and announces that he is "haunting" her. She tells him that he is faking his death, but he tells her that he can't get his "entry permit" to the afterlife until she admits that she has tampered with his will. Alice comes in and Tracy demands that the place be fumigated.
Carly is pacing while waiting for the private plan to depart from the Dominican Republic. She's upset that she has to wait 6 months for a divorce in the state on New York. Jason tells her that she can move out of Sonny's house while she wants. She begs Jason to help her to resist Sonny's charms.

At the warehouse coffee shop, Lulu tells Scotty that she knows what he did and her mother is paying for it! Scotty says that he loved her mother and always tried to protect her. As the two get into a shouting match, Logan pushes his way up to Scotty and tells him to back off. He says that yelling at women is bad enough, but this one is on crutches. "Who the hell are you?" Scotty asks Logan. Logan ignores the question and presses Scott about what kind of person he is.

Alexis fusses over her outfit choice as she waits for her hearing to start at the courthouse. Sonny is waiting with her, and soon Ric joins them to give her one last chance to give up. He tells her if she negotiates now, he'll be flexible. They are called into the courtroom and the proceedings begin. Although Sonny has been subpoenaed by Ric, he refuses to speak on his behalf. Next, the judge calls Jax to the stand on Alexis's behalf. Ric uses Jax's "kidnapping" of Spencer Cassidine against him. Next, Sonny gets his turn. He says everything good about the home that Alexis has provided for her daughters, but Ric does his best to tear him down by bringing up the dirt from Sonny's life. Then, Ric brings up the fact that under Alexis's care Kristina saw Sam McCall shoot a man and Alexis blurts out that her husband slept with Sam McCall. In the middle of all of this, Carly runs in and says she's here to testify for Alexis. But she blathers on and on about her so-called marriage to Sonny and that she's late because she was TRYING to get a divorce. Finally the judge is able to get a question in regarding the matter at hand. Carly says that Alexis is a good daughter and invites the court to ask Jason Morgan, too. So, the judge does. "Any father who would take his child from a home where she is happy, and a mother who she loves, isn't thinking about the child's best interest," Jason plainly says. Alexis is called to the stand and judge only has one question. "How did you manage to get yourself busted for smoking pot?" Alexis eloquently explains how the chemo ravaged her and why she turned to marijuana for relief. During Ric's turn, he says that Alexis is a good mother, but the cancer has severely weakened her. The judge asks why they couldn't compromise and Ric assures the court that he will give generous visitation. The court is adjourned until the decision is made.

In NYC, Amelia tells Sam that she bought the "bling" (watch) as a treat to herself. She tells Sam to take a little break and asks her if she wants to borrow the watch so she knows when to come back? Robin says she'll manage without it. After the break, Amelia continues to bait Sam with language like "wouldn't it be great to pretend to be a whole new person" during times of stress, etc. She creates numerous opportunities to steer the questions back into Sam's past and how she might have been well suited for the hostage crisis. Sam is growing uneasy.

Patrick has brought Robin to the hospital in a wheelchair. She's grumbling because she's tired of being fussed over. Patrick reminds her how important she is to him, as well as her Uncle Mac and she vows to behave better. Bobbie comes to get her for her appointment and marvels over Robin's new haircut with bangs! Patrick promises a surprise for her after her appointment. And boy does he deliver! He covers her eyes with a hat and wheels her outside to her favorite place to think. He's brought hot chocolate, cookies and tons of flowers. He tells her that such grand romantic gestures aren't what love is about, it's about doing things like doing crosswords together. Patrick tells Robin that he's enjoying every little thing about the two of them. She tells him that her heart is bursting with love.

Scotty rushes into the hospital to ask Bobbie "how come Lulu hates me?" Luke happens to be there and tells him to go catch a bus or something. "You ruined Laura's life and you know it!" Scotty tells Luke. Scotty asks Luke if Lulu knows that her dad raped her mom. Luke tells him to shut up and that he's been out of Laura's life for twenty-five years. Bobby positions herself between the two and chastises them both for the way they have behaved all these years. She tells them that they need to move on for Lulu's sake.

As Lulu hobbles into the front door, she recalls her final conversation with Laura. Laura really felt as if she didn't kill Rick. Dillon shows up and she blurts out that she has messed up everything. She tells him that she'll lose her dad if she comes forward and proves her mother's innocence. She tells Dillon that she doesn't remember much at all about her mother as she was growing up. But she had three weeks last November with her and now she misses her. Lulu says that she is trying like crazy to see the world through Laura's eyes and imagine what she would want her to do. Just then, Spinelli busts in the door and proclaims that he has proof that Rick was killed by Scott! He sits with Dillon and Lulu and shows them Rick's banking records that prove payoffs from Scott. Just then, Luke comes in the front door and asks what is so exciting?
As Sam is sitting on the flight back to Port Charles, she's hearing dialogue from her past. Her voice says, "Get away from me, leave me alone!" A man yells back at her, "I'm not going to let you get away with what you did!"

The judge has returned with her decision. She tells Alexis that although she has ample testimony to prove what a loving mother she is, it all comes down to the fact that she committed a felony. The judge then awards full custody of Molly Lansing to her father.
