Jason and Sonny plan to cover up Claudia’s death, Jax sees his wife and baby, Johnny worries for his sister and Lulu agrees to a date with Dante.

Sonny continues to discuss his actions regarding Carly’s situation with Olivia and asks if she thinks his kids would be better off without him. The lights go out before she can answer and Sonny gets some candles. Jax walks in looking for Michael and Sonny says, “So now you lost my son?”
From his car, Michael tries to call Sam and Jason, but Sam can’t hear him, so he takes off.

Carly begs Claudia to hand over her daughter, but Claudia is too focused on the baby herself. Claudia puts her in a basket and starts to walk out the door as Michael grabs an axe, walks in and swings at Claudia’s head. Claudia goes down and Michael drops to her side seeing blood as Jason and Sam bust in. Jason takes the baby and hands her to Carly as Michael sits stunned and blood oozes from a dead Claudia’s head.

Still in the pool of rising water under the Zacchara house, Dante tells Lulu about Mr. Pelleti from his neighborhood and how Sonny killed him. Lulu doesn’t believe him and wonders what he will tell Sonny’s kids when he puts their father away. Lulu says she’s not shivering anymore, which is a bad sign, and Dante promises to get her out of there and to take her out on the town. As they discuss their future date, Lulu passes out so Dante gives her mouth-to-mouth, as Johnny returns with paramedics.

Jason tries to get Michael out of his trance by telling him the baby and Carly are okay. Michael snaps out of it and goes to his mother and sister. His sits on the couch with blood on his hand and apologizes because he should have done something before Claudia could hurt her. Carly says all that matters is that they are safe. A stoic Jason asks for Sam’s cell phone.
Jax and Sonny exchange accusations when Jason calls Sonny to tell him about Carly and to meet him at the cabin.
Jason asks Carly for details about what happened. He instructs Sam to take her to the hospital and for them to say she had her baby alone.
Lulu and Dante are rescued from the water and Lulu calls him officer. After the paramedics take her away, Johnny asks what she just called him, but Dante covers.

Sam drives Carly and the baby to the hospital and explains how they found her. Carly tells her story and worries that Michael will now have to carry Claudia’s death. Sam says Jason will take care of it and help him and Sonny is on his way.

Out by the car, Michael tells Jason how he ended up there and how he killed Claudia. Sonny drives up and Michael tells his father he killed his wife. Sonny assures his freaked out son he did a good thing by stopping Claudia. Sonny tells his son to get in his car so he and Jason can take care of things. After Michael complies, Sonny and Jason plan their cover up. Sonny tells Jason to bury Claudia as close to Hell as he can and that this has to end tonight. Sonny then gets in the car with Michael.

Jax and Olivia argue about Sonny while waiting for Carly at the hospital. Jax sees his wife and daughter come in and holds his baby.

In the car, Sonny tells his son this isn't his fault and blames himself. Michael doesn’t care that he killed Claudia, but Sonny thinks it will take awhile to sink in. He will make things right because he owes him that much. Sonny blames himself for exposing him to his violent world and Michael tells him he always wanted to be like him and now he is. Sonny says he loves him and that’s why he can never be like him. Michael doesn't think he’s any different than Sonny because he killed someone.

Jason orders Max and Milo to get Claudia’s body and they’ll burn the cabin. Milo and Max question that decision, but Jason doesn’t want to leave the cops with anything to find. He demands, “Get the body!”
In Carly’s hospital room, Dr. Lee tells her and Jax both mother and baby are fine. Epiphany brings Josslyn in and Carly and Jax enjoy some time with their little girl. Carly tells Jax what happened in the cabin and that Michael killed Claudia.

Near her car, a brunette Maxie makes a call to get Kate’s pool fixed and when it starts to rain, she runs back into her car.
Johnny and Dante see Olivia at the hospital and learn about Carly. Johnny asks about Claudia, but Olivia doesn’t know. Dante leaves to tell Lulu about her cousin and Olivia looks concerned for him.

Dante goes to see Lulu to tell her Carly is safe and she agrees to go to the opera with him.
Johnny assumes the worst about his sister and Jason’s intentions towards her.

Jason sets the cabin on fire as he, Max and Milo walk away.

Johnny finds Sam and wonders how Carly got away from Claudia.
Dante and Olivia talk about Claudia and Dante assumes Jason stayed behind to kill her.
Dante returns to Lulu to tell her he’s getting them two tickets to the opera and she brings up the fact he’s a cop. He asks her not to bring that up and she wonders if he is still going after Sonny. He tells her Sonny has to pay for all the deaths he has caused including Claudia’s.
As Maxie waits for the pool guy, she sees Sonny drive up and open the gate to his place. As Sonny runs back to his car, she sees the blood on his shirt.

Jason supervises as Max and Milo dig a grave for Claudia and put her in the ground.
