Jason finds the proof he was looking for, Michael remembers, Kate runs into Dante at Jake’s and Sonny is grateful for Claudia.
As Michael and Jax talk about Sonny’s degree of fault in his shooting, Carly comes in with a gift sent from Lady Jane. Carly gets in on the conversation and tells her son she only blames the man who pulled the trigger and he’s already dead.
Claudia comes in after Sonny has a nightmare about Michael’s shooting. He tells her after he has a good night, the guilt sets in and he relives every second of his son just lying on the ground, gone. Claudia tries to make him feel better, but he owns his guilt and carries it with him. He knows he can’t be so smug as to justify who he is, so when he starts to feel the power, he remembers his part in Michael’s shooting and he doesn’t feel good about himself anymore – as it should be. Claudia tells him he has to find a way to deal with it because Michael wants to move on, but can’t if his father is beating himself up every day. It breaks her heart to watch him miss out on valuable moments because he can’t get over what happened. His kids love him and accept him and he needs to find peace in himself and love them back.
Johnny hides as Kate comes to see Olivia. Kate tells her cousin to deal with her secret or someone will end up dead. The cousins bicker about whether or not Olivia should tell the truth about Dante. Kate thinks she is just afraid that Dante and Sonny will look at her differently if they find out.
Outside at Kelly’s, Dominic tells Lulu that when he was fourteen he asked around the neighborhood to find out who the guys were that his mother was involved with and one was dead and he tailed another one of the other ones. He discovered that guy had a family with kids, so he left him alone because there was no room for him. He thinks if it wasn’t that particular guy, it would be someone like him, so he put it down and never looked back. Lulu thinks he might be deeper than she thought, but thinks she should leave before she becomes too impressed.
Jason believes he heard Claudia’s voice on Ian’s recording, but Spinelli says there isn’t enough of the voice to determine it is Claudia. Sam looks on as Jason says he wants him to do what he has to in order to make it Claudia’s voice, but Spinelli won’t manufacture evidence and thinks Jason’s hatred for Claudia is clouding his judgment. When Spinelli says he won’t frame Claudia, Jason yells at him to leave. After Spinelli complies, Jason apologizes to Sam, but she thinks he's angry because Spinelli might be right.
Kristina comes to Kelly’s looking for Kiefer and asks Dominic, who is still sitting outside, if he’s seen him. He hasn’t and she asks him if guys would do anything just to have sex and once they do, they forget about you.
Jason and Sam come to the hospital to meet with Robin and Patrick who tell them they didn’t find anything questionable in Ian’s files. Jason wants to look for himself, but Robin says they can’t ignore patients’ rights and allow him to violate their privacy. Jason just wants proof and Robin thinks the answers he wants might not be there. Epiphany comes in and tells them maintenance is cleaning out the lost and found and they should grab anything they think might be theirs. Jason wonders where Ian’s stuff from his locker is.
The foursome go to the lost and found and Jason and Sam find a duffle bag just like the one in the basement, which contains CDs. They leave and Patrick finds his t-shirt that Robin hates from his life when he was a cad. He assures Robin he is no longer that guy and offers to throw it away, but Robin doesn’t want him to do that. She says when she thinks of him with other women she wants to rip their eyes out of their heads. Patrick assures her there is no one else for him but her. They talk about whether or not they should go to the cops with what they know about Jason and Claudia.
Dominic and Kristina go inside Kelly’s and he tells her there are guys who will dump a girl after sex, but those guys aren’t worth the gum on her shoe and guys like him pound those guys into the ground. Kristina doesn't want him to do that and Dominic gets uncomfortable talking about sex with her. He asks if she needs a ride home, but she says she’ll text her brother and who knows, maybe Kiefer will show up.
Kate comes to Jake’s, much to Coleman’s delight and asks for a beer with a shot of whiskey. Coleman asks what she’s upset about and she talks about work and then says someone she loves is hell bent on destroying herself and the people around her. Kate wants to blow the secret wide open, but there would be too much damage.
Dante walks in Jake’s and Kate goes to talk to him. He wants her to go away, but she insists he will listen to what she has to say. She wants him to quit his case because he will never bust Sonny. Dante doesn’t think he is above the law, but Kate tells him he can’t be the one to put him out of business and she will tell him why.
Jason and Sam come back to the penthouse to look through Ian’s things and Sam wonders if this is about avenging Michael or getting Claudia. Jason puts a CD in the laptop and they hear Jerry and Ian talking to Claudia about the hit on Sonny. Sam says, “Oh my God Jason, you were right. It was Claudia.”
Michael comes to Kelly’s and sits with Kristina. Kristina learns Sonny is out of the country and is upset she didn’t know. Michael didn’t know either and says Sonny loves all of them and wonders if she would have preferred to grow up like she did, not seeing much of Sonny, or take a bullet in the brain. He wonders if it would have been better if he died and remembers Jerry saying Claudia did this to him. Michael knows this is a real memory and Kristina wonders what he is going to do about it.
The associate from the club comes to Sonny and Claudia’s room to assure them there will be no more trouble and Mo, the man who pulled the gun on them, met with an accident. After the man leaves, Sonny thanks Claudia for her help, but wants to go home so he can throw the party for her to show how lucky he is to have her by his side.
The camera pans over the C077X loft where Jason’s mug shot is, along with his name repeatedly written over and over.
