Sonny and Claudia make an impact in Puerto Rico, Dominic enlists Spinelli's help, Max and Diane catch up, and Robin and Patrick assist Jason and Sam.
Spinelli runs downstairs and finds Jason and Sam sleeping on the couch. Sam wakes up and thanks Jason for helping her though last night. They fill Spinelli in on their night and Jason thinks he found a new lead on Ian at the hospital. He thinks maybe Ian put his recordings in closed patient files and Spinelli gets to work to find out on his laptop.
At home, Jax offers Carly some suggestions on staying calm and then tells her Sonny is out of town. He explains he found out because he went to his house to talk to him about keeping her stress levels down, but he was gone. They continue to talk about keeping her healthy and calm and how he hasn't been jetting off anywhere. Jax tells Carly about his talk with Patrick and says he's happier with her and their family than he's ever been in his life.
Ronnie and Dante meet up and Dante gives him some info he found at Sonny's. He also tells him about Sonny and Claudia's meeting in Puerto Rico and how it must be important because he is an easy target that far from his power base. Ronnie thinks if Sonny is taken out, all the better, but Dante isn't on board with that line of thinking. Ronnie thinks he is too involved, but Dante insists he is loyal to his badge and wants to take Sonny down the legal, non-violent way. Ronnie doesn't think that may be possible and starts to leave, but then Dante points out the C077X sign on the wall, which Ronnie doesn't recognize.
In Puerto Rico, Sonny tells Claudia he has influence down there and they need every advantage if they are going to pull this off. They discuss business and Sonny wants them to intimidate everyone at the meeting and to show a united front. Sonny wants everyone to know he is in control and to squash any talk of Anthony so they can handle the last of the renegade Zaccharas. Claudia is excited to show him what kind of asset she can be to him and goes to get ready for the meeting.
Robin finds Patrick at the hospital who was up late last night thinking about the pregnant woman who came in and how lucky they are Emma is healthy and happy. He brings up Ian and berates himself for not seeing his former friend for who he was. He thinks his blindness to his true nature is partially to blame for Michael's shooting. He looks on the computer for some files Ian worked on to see if there is something he missed and discovers they have been moved to the conference room.
Diane comes to the hospital and sees Max. They awkwardly discuss how he is doing and then he tries to pretend he is meeting someone. Diane sees through it and asks him to catch up. Max tries to make excuses and starts to walk away, but Diane stops him saying she doesn't think of him as a love puppet. They sit down to talk about the events from the carnival and their fight. They end up arguing about Louise and Diane tells Max she has a man in Philadelphia. Their fight escalates and Diane storms off.
Alexis comes to see Jax in his office to talk to him about her guilt over her reaction to Michael. Jax tells her he's decided to tell Carly the truth about Jerry's role in his shooting after the baby is born, but is worried she won't understand why he kept it a secret or accept that his brother was involved in Michael's shooting.
Michael comes home and tells Carly he flipped out on Sonny. He doesn't understand why his brain goes there and Carly assures him it will take time. Michael wishes he could control it and fears something bad will happen. Carly wonders what could happen from his memories and Michael remembers what the psychic told him about threats by his bed and in the mirror. Carly asks what's going on and Michael says he thinks there were other people involved in his shooting besides Ian. Jax comes home and Carly tells him Michael is having a hard time with what he's remembering. Michael says he's fine and that they should focus on keeping Carly away from her cheesy snacks. Michael then has a flash of Jerry saying it might be better if he was dead. He blurts out, βIt was Jax's brother Jerry.β
Claudia comes out and Sonny is impressed with her appearance. Sonny thinks with the two of them together, they won't know what hit them.
Jason and Sam come to the hospital and find Patrick and Robin looking at Ian's files in the conference room. Patrick explains his interest in this case and the Drakes explain they can help them navigate the files.
Spinelli meets Dominic in the alley who asks for his help in finding out what the graffiti sign means.
Claudia and Sonny walk into the casino and meet with an associate who asks after Anthony. Claudia tells him he is in prison and that Sonny holds all the power now. They have a drink at the bar and the man asks why Sonny came without any advance knowledge. Sonny doesn't need to explain himself and Claudia refuses the drink, insulting the man. He instructs Sonny to make his wife finish her drink, but Sonny dumps it out in front of him.
Spinelli and Dominic go back to the penthouse and Spinelli gets to work on finding info on CO77X. As Spinelli explains the depths of his cyberspace skills, Dominic's ears perk up. Spinelli can't find anything on the graffiti tag and assumes it's of no significance, as the camera pans the loft filled with crime scene photos and someone splattering red paint on a poster sign of the tag.
Alexis sees Sam at the hospital, but Sam runs off to work on the case. Alexis then sees Robin and thanks her for clearing her name in the Brianna Hughes murder case. Alexis thinks Robin has a calling in detective work, and Robin admits it was fun. Alexis asks if she and Sam are working together on something and Robin tells her they are looking for an accomplice in Michael's shooting.
Jason and Patrick look through files and Jason finds a DVD. They discuss Ian's death and then Patrick gets paged away. Alexis comes in the room and asks Jason if he can do this without involving Sam.
