Helena issues warnings to everyone, Nikolas issues one to Rebecca, Dante is back on the case, and Anthony unleashes a new threat.
Sam comes to Jason’s place and he welcomes her with a kiss, but then Maxie and Spinelli run downstairs interrupting their intimacy. Jason and Sam break apart and he says he needs Spinelli right now. Maxie wonders why Jason and Sam have to hide their feelings in front of others and can’t just be honest about their relationship. After Maxie leaves, Spinelli, Sam and Jason get to work on finding Ian’s recordings.
Nikolas sees Elizabeth as he brings Helena into the hospital. Elizabeth is less than thrilled, but Nikolas says she has been poisoned and he needs his grandmother in good health. Lucky walks up and wonders what Helena is doing there. Helena is taken to her room and Nikolas tries to explain everything to Lucky and Elizabeth. He says Helena is the only one who can keep Valentin at bay.
Lucky walks off in a huff and Elizabeth tells Nikolas Lucky cannot be around Helena. Nikolas thinks she is in no condition to hurt anyone and is genuinely afraid. He asks if she has come to any conclusions while he was away and she leads him to an empty room. She tells him they both need to protect their relationship with Lucky and says she can keep their secret if it means a life with Lucky and the boys. She can make them happy, which Nikolas wants as well. He respects her decision, so he will try and make it work with Rebecca because she is the distraction he needs to help him stop wanting her. Elizabeth thinks it's wrong to use Rebecca like that and Nikolas says she never has to know how he feels about her and it leaves Elizabeth free to be with Lucky.
At the Laundromat, Ronnie tells Dante he is back on the Corinthos case because a senator ordered that he continue to go after Sonny. Dante wonders who would have pulled those strings. Ronnie still thinks Dante is too close and exposed and suggests he request a transfer, but Dante won’t do it. Ronnie also tells him there is another snag because Joey Limbo has caught parole and is getting out today. Olivia walks in and Dante tells her he is back on the case. Olivia is furious and Ronnie tells her to take it up with the commissioner or whoever called in a favor with the senator. Ronnie leaves and Olivia implores Dante not to go through with the case. Dante is determined to put Sonny in jail, but Olivia wonders if there isn’t someone who deserves to be put in jail more. Dante says Sonny chose the life he leads and leaves to go back to work.
After Jax gets off the phone thanking the senator for what he did regarding Dante, he walks into Carly’s room where Sonny is sitting at her bedside. They discuss her health and the baby and Carly says they can help her carry her baby to term by burying the hatchet. They will do whatever she needs to make sure everything is all good and Sonny asks her to stop sneaking French fries. Sonny leaves and Carly tells Jax she loves him for putting his past with Sonny aside for her.
At the Haunted Star Ethan and Luke discuss their strategy for dealing with their latest threat. Ethan tells Luke the DNA test came in the mail while he was gone proving he really is his father. He also says he knew he didn’t leave on his own volition. Alexis enters and learns Helena is back. Alexis is caught up on where Luke’s been and about Valentin, who she has heard of. She says he did a lot of bad things to her father and thinks he is a front for Helena.
Lucky comes to Helena’s room saying he doesn’t buy her story and she warns him that is a mistake. She says she is not the enemy and Rebecca walks in. Helena notes she is the very image of Emily now, but it’s too little too late.
Sam and Jason come to a seedy motel in their search for Ian’s recordings and while Sam rents a room, Jason is propositioned by a prostitute who believes he is Sam’s john. Sam returns with the key and they go through the motel room. The woman who propositioned Jason comes to the door because she is a cop and says they are under arrest for solicitation.
After Alexis has left, Rebecca comes to tell Ethan and Luke that Helena is back. Ethan brings up Nikolas and Rebecca says her life is none of his business and leaves. Ethan fills Luke in on his scam with Rebecca and how Nikolas is bent on breaking her. Luke tells him to make sure she is worth it if he is planning on going up against the Cassadines.
Sonny comes home and he and Claudia discuss Carly and her baby. Sonny tells her they have to stabilize the business and make no unnecessary moves or risks until the baby is born. Sonny doesn’t want Carly to worry about the safety of her boys during her pregnancy and Claudia tells him he is a wonderful father and understands why he doesn’t want any more kids, unless of course she already is pregnant. Dominic comes in with news of Joey’s release. Sonny won’t let him be a threat to his family and wonders if Dominic has a problem with that. Dominic asks, “Are you ordering me to kill Joey Limbo?”
In jail, Anthony asks Joey Limbo to wipe out Sonny and his organization, but everyone has to believe he acted on his own. Joey agrees saying Sonny will never know what hit him. Anthony has one more condition: no harm is to come to Johnny, but Claudia is fair game and Dominic Pirelli should be eliminated as well.
At the hospital, Rebecca tells Nikolas she trusts him to do what’s right in regards to Helena and won’t let him face any impending threat alone. Rebecca doesn’t think Helena is much of a threat though, but Nikolas warns her not to underestimate his grandmother. She says he can count on her because she is not afraid, but he tells her she should be and to run away from him as far and as fast as she can.
Alexis visits Helena at the hospital and they trade barbs. Helena warns her about Valentin because he wants to destroy any Spencer or Cassadine he can get his hands on. Alexis realizes Helena really is scared.
Olivia comes to Jax’s office to yell at him for pulling strings to get Dante back on the case. Carly comes in as they argue and wants to know what is going on. Jax says he has a confession to make.
Elizabeth comes to check on Helena who knows she and Nikolas have become lovers.
