Delicate Negotiations.

Friday, October 02 2009
Kristina asks Sam for help, Sonny has a job for Dominic, Claudia confronts Olivia with the truth, Nikolas and Elizabeth are intercepted by Lucky and Rebecca and Sam and Jason discuss their relationship.

Kiefer gets rough with Kristina when she pulls away from him. He gets teary as he apologizes for losing his temper and says he can’t stop thinking about wanting to be with her. He knows he has to respect it when she says no, but she’s sending him mixed signals. He wants to know what he can do to make things right.

In Sonny’s new office, Sonny and Jason tell Dominic they want him to find out who the leak is.

Nikolas comes to see Elizabeth at the hospital wanting to talk about what happened between them and how uncomfortable he is around Lucky. Elizabeth suggests they go to the park, instead of Wyndemere, to talk and Nikolas wonders if she doesn’t trust herself around him.

Claudia explains to Michael that they are a lot alike growing up in a mob family and she empathized with him, but insists she never said his shooting was her fault. Michael is sorry if he got it wrong and wishes he could get over it and move on. Claudia wonders if Jason put the idea in his head about her being involved in the shooting because she would hate it if Jason turned him against her. Sonny walks in and wonders why Jason would do that. Claudia says she just wanted to make sure the reason they haven’t spent any time together lately wasn’t because of Jason. Sonny and Michael catch up on school and Carly and then Michael leaves. Claudia says if they have a little boy she hopes he turns out like Michael, but Sonny tells her they may have to put that plan on hold because he has a lot of business to handle. Claudia gets emotional talking about their baby and Kristina’s role in his death.

Kate leaves Olivia’s place after Johnny gets there and Johnny wonders what’s going on with her. Olivia doesn’t say anything and Johnny tells her he can respect her secrets. She tells him about her run in with Claudia and he apologizes for his sister being overly attached to him and asks her not to underestimate her because she can be extremely dangerous.

Nikolas finds a brunette Rebecca at Wyndemere who has planned a romantic meal for them. She thanks him for forgiving her and helping her find a life in Port Charles. She feels like she belongs with him and Qs and it’s all thanks to him. She kisses him, but he stops her saying he can’t do this right now because he already made plans for tonight. She asks what they are and he tells her it’s a delicate negotiation. She assumes it’s business and says they can do it another time. Nikolas suggests they reschedule for tomorrow and will go out, just not to Lucky’s barbecue. Rebecca thinks he’s worried about the tension between her and Elizabeth and says they won’t be the best of friends but she can grit her teeth and ride it out. She adds that she respects Elizabeth for trying to protect him.

Dante meets Ronnie on the docks and tells him Sonny and Jason know there’s a leak and Ronnie suggests he pin it on someone else. Dante doesn’t want to do that to an innocent person, but Ronnie reminds him none of them are innocent, least of all his pal Sonny. Ronnie suggests Dante give up Tommy Soto because they have been trying to make a case against him, but they failed. Dante has reservations, but Ronnie says maybe they can get Sonny on a murder rap after he gives Tommy up. Ronnie says they don’t have any other choice and reminds Dante if he is exposed as a cop, Olivia could get killed too.

Lucky surprises Elizabeth in the park and she tells him she doesn’t want to hurt him ever again. He assures her he forgave her a long time ago, but she wonders if she deserves to be forgiven. Lucky says there are no regrets and they have to move forward. Elizabeth wonders how he can have so much faith in the future when so much has gone wrong. He can’t think of anything else he would rather do than spend every moment with her and the boys. She thinks he is an amazing man and he suggests they go get some ice cream, but she has something to do.

Kristina calls Sam to meet her on the docks and asks her not to tell anyone, but she’s ready to sleep with Kiefer but needs some birth control. Sam thinks she needs more time, but Kristina is trying to be responsible and asks her to take her to a clinic or something. Sam tries to share her past experiences with her sister, but Kristina just wants to know if she will help her or not.

Michael comes to the restaurant to meet Jason and tells him he came from seeing Claudia. Michael knows he hates her and wants to know why. Jason doesn’t trust her and Michael thinks he is waiting for proof against her, but he doesn’t want anyone to pay for him getting shot.

Claudia goes to Olivia’s and tells her she knows Dante is her and Sonny’s son and she will go to Sonny if she doesn’t do exactly what she says.

While waiting for Elizabeth in the park, Nikolas gets a call from Alfred who tells him Elizabeth left a note for him which says she doesn’t trust herself around him and knows what she has to do; she just has to figure out how.

Kiefer and Kristina meet on the docks and she tells him Sam is going to take her to the clinic tomorrow to get her started on birth control. Kiefer feels terrible about what happened in the hotel room, but he gets frustrated. She understands and assures him she wants to have sex with him and doesn’t want to lose him.

Sam and Jason meet up and she tells him about Kristina and that she thinks Kiefer is taking advantage of her. She wants her sister to have more self-respect than she had and to be in a relationship for the right reasons. Sam tells Jason she loved him so much that she lost herself before, but this time around she’s not scared, she’s cautious. Jason says she just needs to tell him what is right for her. She responds that goes for him too, just as long as they are honest. Sam says they will be okay, but Jason thinks it will be better than okay.

Dominic goes to Sonny and gives up Tommy Soto as the leak. Sonny says they have to set an example and find an excuse to take him for a drive and eliminate him.

Next on General Hospital:

Olivia is forced to end things with Johnny.

Lulu and Ethan try to find their father.

Sonny puts the kibosh on Claudia’s plan to have a baby.

Ok so I honestly do not like Elizabeth with Nikolas at all. I dont think that Greg Vaughn has as much chemistry with her as Jonathan Jackson did, therefore I think when he comes back, Lucky and Elizabeth will get back on track again. As for Nikolas...I dont like him as much as I did before Emily died. He is really turning Cassadine and I dont like it at all!

Best part of the show = Jason telling Sam they are going to be "better than okay." I just can't get enough of these two - I really wish they were on more often. I loved how Sam finally brought up their past relationship and how they both agreed to be completely honest with each other. I can't wait to see more of JaSam!! . . . I honestly cannot stand Claudia - the way she manipulated Michael into thinking his memory was a fake - I hate her!! . . . And I don't know what is going on with the Rebecca storyline, but she's looking and acting more like Emily everyday - pretty soon I'm going to start getting the two mixed up!

My theory of Ronnie being the guy working with AZ is looking better and better. For a cop, he doesn't seem to have much of a sense of the law. Maybe none of Sonny's or AZ's guys are "innocent" but since when did that justify a cop taking the law into his own hands and deciding who deserves to live or die? And Ronnie's a dumba$$ is he thinks they'll get Sonny or Jason for any of this stuff that they're trying to set up. Better law enforcement people than Ronnie have tried to take Sonny and Jason down in the past and have failed miserably (Hannah Scott, Carly's father the prosecutor guy [Corbin Bernsen], Agent Raynor, etc.). This won't be any different...

And Sam really needs to tell Alexis what's going on with Kristina just so Alexis gets her head out of the sand before it's too late. If Alexis would just ground that brat until it's time for her to go off to college, we won't have to see that slimy little Keifer anymore! THAT would be a really nice development if you ask me!

Today was a great show. I swear to god If Michael trust Claudia he is so stupid because she the one put a hit out on Sonny that night at his coffee warehouse that got him shot in the first place and he lost a year of his life because of her. Everything she was telling Michael is a lie. I agree with Jason I don't liked that hypocrite either. I would do the same thing take that witch out too I can't stand her. After everything she has done to him and everybody else. Michael you better listen to Jason. I can't wait until the truth comes out. I hope Jason or Sonny killed her. Then she got some nerve threatening Olivia today about trying to tell Sonny who Dominic really is and liked I said it could backfire at her. You see Olivia know about Michael's shooting. So if Claudia tells Sonny the truth about Olivia's son, then Olivia can tell Sonny about Michael's shooting.

I welcome Jonathan Jackson back to the Lucky role but please let the writers redeem the character.
Maybe the Greg Vaughan’s “Lucky” was an imposter while JJ’s Lucky was held captive by one of the Spencer family’s enemies. This way Lucky has a clean slate & is not tied down with children, Rebecca & the PD.

Claudia was good at manipulating Michael. I enjoyed her casual reminder to Sonny when he balked at making a baby. Then to top off her good day she goes over to Olivia's place to rattle her cage. Oh, I am going to miss this character.

How quick Olivia is to run to JZ regarding his sister's actions and what she has been 'doing' to Olivia, but Olivia has done nothing to even try to straighten her messed up life out including trying to tell someone the truth for once. JZ, her whipped boy toy can warn her against Claudia all he wants, but who is going to warn him against Olivia? OPh, wait that's right his forever loyal sister. I am literally quivering with anticipation for the day when all of Olivia's secret comes to light.

I wish that Liz would grow a backbone and fess up to Lucky already, so so sick of hearing how guilty she is and how much she doesn't want to hurt Lucky, etc. Of course, she can criticise herself to him because he will do NOTHING but refute what she is saying because he is clearly blinded by love (or whatever).

I want Sam to go to Alexis, but I know that three things are going to happen which would only make the entire situation worse. The first one being that idiot, 'my children can't do no wrong' Alexis will be saying that Sam could be reading too much into seeing Keifer in Kristina's room and would actually take Keifer and Kristina's word over Sam's that they were actually 'doing homework'. The second thing is that Alexis would inexplicably blame Sonny and maybe even Michael for Kristina's actions and not Kristina's herself because she thinks that she is the greatest mother in the world and she raised perfect children which will make Sonny furious should she then stupidly go to Sonny with her 'concerns'. (We all know what a furious Sonny does, acts on impulse and maybe even want to file for custody, plunging the already messed up Kristina into a custody battle. Thirdly, should Sam tell Alexis and by some miracle she believes, she will go running and crying to Kristina, have a ridiculous talk about her future at Yale and staying on track with her. This will of course go right over Kristina's head because she will want to rebell more than ever and puts her back into Keifer's arms and bed faster than how Usain Bolt can run the 100 meters. Then of course, being the spoiled rude brat Kristina's is, she will get mad at Sam and probably never tell her anything ever again or seek her advice and help with issues, thus leaving her to fend for herself and muddle through her already convoluted teenage life. And we all know that Kristina needs a sensible, down to earth, realistic, been there, done that person to talk to and to provide much need and VALUABLE advice, that person being Sam. So while it may seem wrong somehow that Kristina is seeking Sam's advice, I can completely understand and accept this route that TSW are taking with Kristina because of the type of person/ mother Alexis is.

Why didn't Olivia come back with a you tell my secret, I'll tell yours! Oh, by the way, your brother and I have talked about it. So when you're done telling Sonny my secret step aside so I can tell yours.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Today's episode didn't interest me that much but it made Monday seem a long time away. A lot of things were set into action but the payoff will be Monday.

Olivia was sure eager to throw Claudia under the bus to Johnny. Now no matter what reason she gives for breaking up with him, he will blame Claudia. Of course it is because of her knowing Olivia's secret but how is Johnny going to react when he learns this secret himself?

So, Nik & Liz were going to meet, their signifigant others showed up & Liz called it off. Eight scenes that led nowhere so far & only demonstrated again how naive & trusting Lucky is when it comes to Liz. Is that it, or will there be some follow up of some kind Monday?

I was kind of surprised that Domenic actually gave up another guy to Sonny to cover himself but actually Ronnie made sense in a way. If Domenic didn't blame somebody else, Sonny & Jason would just keep hunting & possibly come up with Domenic. And these guys are not upstanding citizens. They are all criminals who have done a heck of a lot worse than snitch to the police - they are pretty much all murders. What I wonder is what Domenic will do. I don't see any way for him to get out of it. Another thing for Monday!

On the other hand, I loved the scenes between Jason & Sam. I had never seen them interact before. I was mad at GH for some reason and wasn't watching at that time. I loved the way they opened up to each other, especially when Jason told Sam it would be even better this time.

Still no Max & Diane? On "soap time", how long has it been since the carnival? At least long enough for Edward to have had major survey & be released from the hospital. For Dante to have been at death's door & now be up & around going on just as he did before. Same with Johnny. We haven't even seen Sonny visit him at the hospital, never mind Diane.

I swear that after Molly, the resident of PC that I like best is Alfred. He loved Stefan so much & now loves Nik so much, that it's endearing. (I love Nik & Stefan too but let's face it, they are not easy to love.) No matter what he is absolutely loyal. Also, he seems to be the only completely discreet person in PC.

This episode made me totally invested in what will happen next. Maybe that was the whole point!
