Claudia makes a call, tests are run on Alexis' cars, Jason and Sam breakdown, Michael and Kristina form a plan and Edward and Rebecca are released from jail.
Jason and Sam stall out on their way to find Michael and Kristina and they look under the hood and find something odd. Sam recalls Spinelli tinkering earlier and thinks he tried to turn Jason’s truck into a homemade hybrid.
Kristina and Michael come to a roadside restaurant that is locked so Michael starts to break in.
Alexis and Carly argue over Michael and Kristina being missing. Jax tries to maintain some peace, but Carly accuses Alexis of using Michael to cover her tracks. They continue to play verbal ping pong and Alexis asks Jax to get Carly to cooperate in getting their children home and storms out. Carly yells at Jax for not being on her side.
Sonny walks in Claudia’s hospital room and sees her trying to get ready to leave. He says it’s too soon and she needs to recover, but she isn’t sure how to recover from her baby dying. Sonny says she needs to deal with her loss and she cries over how painful her grief is. Sonny is grieving too, but Claudia questions it wondering if he’s just saying what she wants to hear so she doesn’t implicate Michael. Sonny just wants this whole thing to be over and asks her to back up Carly’s story.
Alexis comes to see Sonny and Claudia and tells them that Michael has taken Kristina on the run.
In jail, Edward tells Nikolas to leave and Lucky walks up saying they contacted Tracy about Edward and Rebecca getting arrested, but she responded, “Oh goodie. Let them rot.”
Spinelli tries to talk to Mac, but he's busy and tries to blows him off. He stops in his tracks though when Spinelli says he has important things to talk to him about Maxie. Spinelli starts to ask for permission to marry Maxie, but she intervenes and then Jason calls yelling at Spinelli for what he did to his car.
Kristina makes some fish tacos and she and Michael discuss them running away and if Michael really ran Claudia off the road. Michael is positive he did it and thinks leaving Port Charles was the right thing to do. They decide to go to Mexico and get jobs. Michael understands if she doesn’t want to go because she's not the one who caused the accident. Kristina looks guilty and drops something.
Nikolas tells Rebecca he can have her out of jail in ten minutes but she won’t leave Edward. Edward says Rebecca has shown more loyalty in the short amount of time he’s known her, than Tracy ever has. Lucky returns and lets them out because they realized Michael switched their license plates when he went on the road.
Over the phone, an unsure Spinelli tries to talk Sam and Jason through dismantling the hybrid mechanism, but Jason can’t figure out his instructions.
Carly and Jax argue over Michael and she asks him to believe that the car she saw wasn’t Michael’s. Jax does believe her and thinks he has a way to prove it.
At the mansion, Tracy orders Alice around who tells her she’s writing her memoirs and can’t wait for Tracy to read a couple of specific chapters. As Tracy talks about how Rebecca is conning the family, Edward, Rebecca and Nikolas return. Rebecca says the extra time they had in jail gave them a chance to bond and she thanks Tracy for not bailing them out. They all bicker for a bit and Nikolas asks Rebecca to leave with him for a little while. Edward says no, Rebecca says she would love to and Tracy says, “Ooh! Cassadines: 1 - nothing!”
Sonny goes to see Carly and thinks Jason will be able to talk their son into coming home. They talk about Claudia and Sonny says he never should have bought Michael the car and Carly says she shouldn’t have given him a license, but he didn’t cause the accident. Sonny thinks he failed both of his children again. Sonny worries something will happen to his kids before they can bring them home.
In the interrogation room, Jax asks Mac to look at things as a father. Diane comes in and gives Mac a court order for both vehicles owned by Alexis. Both Jax and Diane worry their friendships with Alexis are on the line.
As Spinelli feels confident over fixing Jason’s car and making it more earth friendly, he sets out to talk to Mac, but Lulu and Maxie prevent him from doing so.
Michael asks Kristina what’s wrong and she chalks it up to not sleeping because she’s worried about everyone. Michael tells her she doesn’t have to get mixed up in all this, but Kristina is happy to be away because she doesn’t have to prove herself to anyone. She tells her brother they are in this together.
Jason continues to work on the car, as Spinelli's instructions didn’t help. Sam takes over and the car starts.
Mac returns to tell Jax and Diane both of Alexis’ cars have been brought in and Alexis comes in demanding to know what’s going on. Lucky comes in and says the forensics on Alexis’ cars are in.
Jason and Sam come to the restaurant Michael and Kristina were just at and Sam tries to wipe dirt off her face, but misses, so Jason reaches over and wipes it off for her.
Claudia talks to Uncle Ruddy so she can get justice for her baby. She thanks him and hangs up. She then calls Jerry, noting that she knew he would be surprised to hear from her, but she has powerful connections. She tells him to find Michael and bring him to her.
Mac, Lucky, Alexis and Jax go to the garage and learn there is a small scrape at the bumper and it looks like it made contact with a car that matches the color of Claudia’s car. Mac asks who had access to her car and Alexis confesses that she ran Claudia off the road.
