Lulu advises Maxie, Diane advises Spinelli, Ethan appeals to Rebecca, Edward and Rebecca are arrested, Liz worries for Nikolas, and Michael and Kristina are discovered missing.
Waiting at home for his mother to return from the hospital, Morgan gets an email from Michael telling him he has left town. Carly and Jax come in and Carly detects something is wrong with her son. Morgan hides the email and Jax and Morgan fawn over her. Carly still worries about Morgan and assures him Michael’s confession was wrong because he didn’t cause the accident. Carly wants to call Michael, but Morgan suggests he email him instead. Jax takes Carly upstairs and Morgan runs to his laptop.
Nikolas has trouble taking his shirt off in the stables because he was injured from a horseback riding fall. Elizabeth walks in. She tells him Alfred called her because he is concerned and she helps him off with his shirt. He expresses his disappointment of Rebecca already moving out of Wyndemere. Liz tends to Nikolas’ injuries as he explains what happened with Rebecca. Elizabeth dabs a scratch on his chest and they exchange uncomfortable looks.
At the Quartermaine’s, Tracy and Monica bicker over Michael and Edward walks in with Rebecca, saying she is moving in. Tracy and Monica debate Rebecca’s motives as Rebecca sees Ethan out on the patio.
Spinelli asks for Jason’s advice with Maxie, but Jason wants him to help with Michael. They discuss Kristina being a suspect in the crash and Spinelli wonders if Jason is going to throw Kristina under the bus for Michael. Jason says if they can prove Michael wasn’t near the scene of the accident, then they don’t have to bring Kristina into it.
Sam and Alexis argue over Kristina and Alexis accuses her of trying to score points with Jason. They argue and Molly comes out saying Kristina isn’t in her room and her bed is still made as if she didn’t sleep in it.
Nikolas comes to the Q’s to see Rebecca, but Edward says he has to go through him first. Nikolas accuses Edward of holding something over Rebecca and they engage in verbal battle.
Rebecca talks with Ethan and he gives her $500 as a down payment on the money he owes her. Rebecca doesn’t understand and thinks he’s trying to con her too. Ethan just thought they could pick up where they left off now that she’s away from Nikolas. She tells him they just teamed up to get her sister’s money and this isn't fun anymore. Ethan wonders if she ever thought that maybe he really cares about her and wants to be with her.
Lucky meets Liz at the hospital who tells him she’s worried about Nikolas. She fills him in on recent events and thinks Edward is blackmailing Rebecca to move in the mansion and thinks she has something to hide. Lucky isn’t so sure and they argue the point. Elizabeth thinks no matter how this plays out, Nikolas will get hurt.
As Spinelli looks on his laptop and muses over names for Maxie when they get married, Diane comes in wanting to talk with Jason about Michael. Since she’s there and Jason is not, Spinelli asks for her advice. He recounts his marriage proposal and Maxie’s confusing response. Diane thinks Maxie loves him, but is not ready to be married. Spinelli counters that Maxie is just wary of marriage and he wants to nudge her in the right direction. Diane tells him if he pushes too hard, she will push back so he should back off and let the idea of marriage simmer with her. Spinelli suddenly realizes an element of the proposal that has been overlooked.
Maxie goes to the police station and runs into Lulu who is looking for Lucky. Maxie worries to Lulu about Mac’s reaction to her wanting to marry Spinelli. Lulu tells Maxie to either tell Mac they are engaged or let Spinelli down. Maxie doesn’t want to hurt his feelings, but the thought of marriage is oppressive and she needs to focus on her career. Lulu says now all she has to do is tell Spinelli the answer is no. Maxie can’t bring herself to do that and Mac walks up. Before Maxie can talk to him about Spinelli, Alexis walks in and drags Mac away.
Mac tells Alexis they just put out an APB on Michael and the tests on the skid marks at the scene are inconclusive.
Jason comes to Carly’s and finds Morgan who tells him Michael ran away. Jason reads the email and Morgan worries if Carly finds out she could get sick again. Jason hopes to find Michael before anyone can tell Carly and assures Morgan he thinks Michael is innocent.
Alexis and Sam look for, but can’t find Kristina and Sam gets a call from Jason who tells her Michael is gone too. Alexis calls the police under Sam’s protests and Molly’s concern. Sam tells her sister the cops won't have to get involved if she finds Kristina first.
Sam packs some stuff and prepares to head out, as Jason does the same at his place. Spinelli finds a surveillance tape of a car identical to Michael’s on a southbound ramp, but Jason says it isn’t Michael's license plate.
With Rebecca in the car, Edward gets pulled over. The officer asks them to get out of the car and when Edward refuses, the cop pulls his gun.
Edward and Rebecca sit in a cell and Nikolas comes to see them. He says, “Well, well. It looks like Rebecca needed me after all.”
Morgan listens as Carly leaves a message for Michael. Carly worries about where he is and Alexis comes to the house. She tells Carly and Jax that Michael has left Port Charles and has taken Kristina with him.
Jason and Sam meet at the crash site and Jason fills her in on what Spinelli found. They get in the car and take off after the kids.
Mac returns to Maxie and Lulu and tells them about Michael. Maxie wishes him luck in finding the kids and starts to leave, but Lulu urges her to tell Mac. Maxie thinks Spinelli is too busy working for Jason on the case to worry about marrying her, but Lulu points to Spinelli who is all dressed up and nervously approaching Mac.
