I like the new Molly. She and Kristina really look like sisters. Glad to see Dominic again, finally.

Aussie, you're right. Friday is not a holiday and should not be a rerun, but like you said, if they're going to show one why not go way back. Maybe they don't want us to remember how much better it used to be.

Aussie again, I think Kini knows Sonny is Dante's father, she just can't wait for him to find that out.

An episode with no Sonny? Has that EVER happened?

Forgot to say, while it does seem like the mayor's wife had motive, it doesn't make sense to hire a new actress just to commit murder and go off to prison. Hopefully, she'll stick around a while.

I agree I like Maxie better with Matt. Just a thought...Maybe they don't get along in real life. That was always a rumor on Days of Our Lives.

I love Spinelli, but agree that Maxie should be with Matt.

Thanks TN....I read Kini's comment wrong!

I thought she said "I can't wait to find out who his daddy is".

They should've shown an older episode definitely.
I agree TN.

No prob, Aussie. I thought that might have been the case.

Did you ever get a glimpse of Suri?

CYNIC: I must say, you read my mind on your comment regarding Dominic/Dante! He is definitely a scene stealer. He has an easy rapport with everyone he has contact with. I love him and Johnny together. I was on the edge of my seat hoping that Olivia would show up BEFORE Dominic left. Bummer, lol

Michael has Edward eating right out of his hands. You could "see the wheels spinning" in Michael's head. Somebody wrote {not sure who} that Michael told Edward he had a drivers license, I don't remember that, i remember Michael avoiding the question and promising to stay close to the property.

I also love the interaction between Coleman and Patrick. Their personalities are complete opposites, however they really do make a convincing pair. Coleman is blunt and shady to a degree, and Patrick is a reformed ladies man. I just cannot fathom the connection between Patrick and Robin, or Robin and ANYONE! I find her totally anal, lol I know i probably am in a minority there, but that's ok.

Happy July 4th, I hope you have better weather for your holiday than we did for July 1st, lol

ranshoma, whenever anyone says "trust me" in a soap you know they are lying.

Kini, my thoughts exactly regarding Dominic. He is hotter than hot WITHOUT a partner and he is a terrific actor with a touch of humour. He doesn't just stand in one spot delivering his lines with an occasional hand flap, he uses his whole body, almost like a dancer. Did you notice the way he crossed the garage and helped himself to a beer from the fridge while he was speaking? He is Canadian, and they have a softer accent, but I don't think Sonny will recognize the voice. I wonder if we will get to see the Falconeri family dinner?

Johnny only became hot when paired with Olivia (which was the one plot device that came out of nowhere in I don't know how long). Can't you just see the tension between Johnny and Dante? He looks about 30, so Olivia must be in her very well-preserved mid 40's.

If only Alexis would walk in on Dominic in Kristina's bedroom. She would have something to hold over Kristina every time little miss started throwing up the incident with the Mayor. Dominic is certainly taking a risk as only he knows that Kristina is his half sister (IF he is Dante!)

At least we have got to see a lot of Coleman this week. About time too. Jake's must be across the street from the hospital and the court room as all the staff hang out there. Can't see them driving across town for a dive like that.

I am really bothered by the very obvious plot twists these days. Perhaps in the zeal to capture schoolchildren they are dumbing down the suspense so much that they might as well put flashers on the screen saying " CAR WRECK COMING UP" "TEENS RUNAWAYS COMING, STAY TUNED" "DOMINIC IS DANTE". Please give us some credit for intelligence. We LIKE to be surprised and kept guessing.

How many mothers of young teens want to sit down and relax with their favorite show only to see sulky disrespectful teens screaming insults at their parents and acting as if they know it all and the parents don't? Very, very, few is my guess. TIIC are going to alienate faithful long-term viewers in favor of short-term kids with attention deficit disorder. And don't say I did not warn you.

Back in the 80's we had a wonderful group of teens. Blackie Parish, a homeless teenager who had been living rough on the waterfront, Lou, the girl who befriended him, Frisco Jones a musician, and Felicia Cummings. Never once did any of them show disrespect for older characters or parents, so why do we have to endure Michael and Kristina's selfish tantrums now.

Starlett, your theory about Brianna and Mercedes is far too involved for the simplistic plots they are writing these days, unless Brianna was involved with smuggling undocumented aliens into the country for pay. Simple plots for simple minds I think. "UNDOCUMENTED MAID DID IT" flash, flash!

I'm very sad to see that Billy Mays passed away this week, but HSN could find a replacement voice in Carly. Does she never lower her voice below a high decibel shriek? I was watching some of the early Carly and Sonny days on YouTube and neither actress shrieked.

ransomha, If Doninie is Dante, then he and Kristina are brother and sister - Sonny is their father, so no, I am not cool with a pairing. Even if they were not related, he is FAR too old for a 15 year-old girl.

As for Johnny and Olivia, I have also noticed that it is just sex, sex and more sex. Lucky woman!! I think they had work bench sex in the garage yesterday, right next to the trash can.

Things must be getting bad if they are shutting down for two weeks in July for rewrites. Has this ever happened before? I guess if I can wait months for the next episode of LOST, I can live through two weeks without GH. Wouldn't it be nice if they showed episodes of the past, with Anna Devane and Duke Lavery (now THAT was a pairing), Sean and Tiffany, Frisco and Felicia and Blackie Parrish. We can but wish.

Why don't they put these old episodes on DVD and we could buy them?

Thanks Firebird85 for the compliment.

Hi Aussie.

Some companies will give an employee Friday or Monday off if the holiday falls on a weekend. I am looking forward to watching the Wimbledon finals.

The scene between Dominic and Kristina is another example of Sonny's so called security. If Alexis and family were truly being guarded, Dominic (or Dante?) would not have been able to approach her.

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday weekend!
