Michael reluctantly moves into the Quartermaine mansion, Ethan summons Rebecca, Coleman asks for Maxie’s advice and Diane consoles Alexis.
At Jake’s, Elizabeth asks if there is something keeping Ethan in PC, other than being Luke’s son. They talk about Holly, Luke and Lucky and he asks if he should stick it out there or if he should hit the road. She says only he can decide and he tells her he doesn’t recognize himself anymore. He needs a connection to someone who knew him before he was Luke’s son. She tells him things can’t go back to the way they were and he thanks her for her help, as she gets up to call him a cab.
Rebecca tells Nikolas, as tempted as she is to move in with him, she thinks he will regret it. She thinks it will invite scrutiny from everyone and she will be living under a microscope. Nikolas tells her it can be great and convinces her to accept his invitation. As they seal it with a kiss, Rebecca gets a call from a drunken Ethan who tells her to meet him in her room at Kelly’s or else he will come out there and get her.
Spinelli and Maxie return to Jake’s looking for his PDA and Coleman comes out with it. He asks Maxie for advice on how to bring in a higher level of clientele and Spinelli suggests creating a heightened romantic atmosphere. Coleman was thinking more along the lines of girls in thongs dancing on the bar. Maxie thinks cages could work as well and thinks Jake’s isn’t the place for Spinelli’s courtly love. Spinelli tries to prove her wrong and hops up on a table to cite a poem. Coleman thinks it’s a bit weird, but takes notes.
Robin and Patrick come to see Alexis and tell her the mayor may not be Brianna’s killer. Alexis panics that she just publicly arrested the wrong man and they rehash the evidence.
Jax tells Carly he wanted Claudia to help them get Michael out of Sonny’s house. Carly doesn’t think Claudia would do anything to help them and Claudia counters there’s a lot she doesn’t know about Michael’s situation or Jax’s involvement in it. Carly tells her to leave and Claudia says she has no reason to help them and walks out.
Carly wonders why Jax would ever call Claudia for help and he says he feels like he’s the reason Michael can’t come home with them. Carly disagrees and says they will do whatever they have to in order to get Michael away from Sonny’s house. Carly appreciates his efforts in trying to get Claudia to help them, but she knows she has to go to Michael and Sonny herself and deal with the fallout.
Michael listens in as Sonny tells Jason how much he loves Michael and considers him his first-born. He says they have a connection and they need each other. Sonny thinks Michael belongs with his father, but Jason says he shouldn’t be in this house. They argue some more and Michael runs down the stairs begging Sonny not to send him away. Michael knows Jason is trying to protect him, but he doesn’t want to leave his dad. Jason says he knows this and leaves the room. Michael tells Sonny to forget everyone else because, “It’s you and me.” Sonny tells Michael it’s too dangerous for him to be in the house and he won’t put him at risk, so he can’t live there anymore. Carly, Jason and Jax come in and Michael gets defensive. He accuses everyone of doing whatever Carly wants, but she calls him living at the Qs a compromise. He hates it, but he’ll do it because he can’t fight them all.
Johnny meets Claudia at Jake’s who tells him Jax knows about her involvement in Michael’s shooting. He thinks their only hope is to ride this out and have faith that what happened to Michael stays a secret.
Diane comes to Alexis with a bottle of wine to support her friend. Diane tries to bolster Alexis’ self-esteem, but does wonder what she was thinking sleeping with the mayor. Alexis tells her she was high on medicinal marijuana and was reeling from Ric and Sam’s interlude. Alexis says she will rebuild and Diane knows a cute carpenter with a tool belt. Diane asks if she has any more pot, but Alexis says no.
Lulu visits Nikolas who tells her Rebecca is moving in with him. Lulu trusts him to know what’s best for his own life. Nikolas is appreciative and Lulu brings up Ethan. She thinks he didn’t exactly get the familial welcome he deserves and Nik thinks Rebecca has been treated the same way. He thinks it must be hard on both of them.
Rebecca bursts into her room and tells Ethan he could have ruined everything. She wonders when he stopped caring about the money. He turns it on her and accuses her of trying to take her dead sister’s place for real. Ethan needs her tonight, but she tells him he needs to sleep it off. He needs someone to hold onto who he can trust and if it’s not her, he won’t owe her anything and he can blow her out of the water. She tells him nothing has changed between them and he tells her to prove it. She starts to take her clothes off and talks about how complicated their scam has gotten, as Ethan passes out.
Claudia comes home and learns Michael has moved to the Quartermaines. Sonny hates it, but thinks Carly is right about this one. Claudia promises to never try and take his kid away from him.
Carly and Jax enter Morgan’s room and tell him Michael is going to live at the Qs. They assure him it’s only temporary and he can see him whenever he wants.
Jason takes Michael to his new home. He says they aren’t perfect, but the Qs have always loved him. Edward comes out and eagerly shows Michael around as Monica and Tracy come down. They start fighting in front of Michael and Jason tells them to stop. Jason instructs Michael to call him if he can’t stand it there and leaves.
