Man, shout out to Isabelle for her work on Youtube. It was only a couple of seconds, but it was great to see Liz and Jason interact--especially Jason holding Jake. My goodness, why did Lucky have to be there? He seem so out of place! It looked like Jason wanted to have a deeper conversation with Liz, but Lucky was there, so he just went on his way.

On a different note the news about MJ was of course sad. We're learning that MJ as well as his handlers and enablers are responsible for his death. I hope a group of people get together and form an organization directly targeting people that will do anything to appease stars for their cut of money. There are too many yes men around these stars. They need someone to say no to them. Not only that, but you have doctors and such willing to prescribe medications for stars because they want money. The whole thing is evil!

Bit of a spoiler.....if anyone cares......Nic asks Rebbecca to move in with him. Waste of a storyline in my opinion and takes time away from the people I am more interested in. Also...fridays show will be a repeat..because of 4th holiday. Were the reporters suppose to be from a TV station or newspaper? They didn't say unless I missed that. Good call Cynic on Liz being too young to have teen kids. I did like the few seconds of Liz and Jason. Jason makes her way more interesting like Sam perks up Lucky. You need a sparkey one in each relationship. Not feeling Olivia with anyone. Don't like the character because she mistreated family and edged her way into Port Charles on Kates coat tails then dissed Kate. She's common. Weekend over already! How'd that happen???

For me, Jason was out of place at Kelly's with Lucky & Liz.
They didn't give him a reason for being there. Yes, it was cute seeing him pick up Jake. Any man holding a child is a beautiful thing. Lucky & Liz looked like a nice family then Jason strolls in AWKWARDLY!!! Very odd!

****** SPOILER *******

So, now that Dominic is Dante. I'm happy! He's a bumbling gangster. But, why oh why did they have to introduce him being a foe of Morticia's (of sorts)?? This is so frustrating with the delay of her being busted for Michael's shooting.

Wouldn't say he's a foe. More of a friend. As far as Jason and Liz....you only see what you want to see. Most of the posters on here don't see it the way you do. And that's all good. Hope you are feeling better.

Hey ransom, sorry hon....gotta disagree w/ you.
I don't see that MOST of the posters disagree with what I see.

What, then was Jason's purpose of being outside Kelly's interrupting a family moment between Lucky & Liz? He just walked past for no reason. Awkward moment, awkward writing, awkward scene!

Don't see anything wrong with Jason being outside of Kellys. Could have been going in or out before or after lunch. It is a popular spot in Port Charles. Why were the kids playing there is a bigger question. But what I was trying to say, is I believe it was written and acted out as A MOMENT...between Liz and Jason and i'm suprised you couldn't see that. I realize you don't care for the pairing of Liz and Jason but, I still think you can see that the writers want the viewers to see that there is feelings between them. And if you read back the comments, the people who did comment on the scene said as much. Don't get me wrong...I like Sam. Think she's beautiful, full of life..exciting character. Jason makes everyone he's with look good!

bronxie - I think you may be onto something. If Mayor Floyd was involved with Alexis way back in the day, that would explain why (a) we never saw it and (b) he wasn't afraid to spill his guts to the press about it. His wife is trying to cover up his affair with Briana, but here he goes and admits to an affair with Alexis in front of all the press? Well, if it was way back when they were both young and single, then it wouldn't really hurt him, but it would hurt her - especially if he was Sam's dad and Alexis didn't want Sam to find that out. THAT would explain why Alexis was so eager to help the mayor out on this. Like I posted before, with all of Alexis' history on the show, it didn't seem like just some affair with the married mayor should worry her that much, but this would make sense.

Ebony - I disagree. I thing Floyd could be Sam's dad if he and Alexis knew each other a long time ago. I think maybe he hasn't put two and two together, so he didn't think of it (or maybe he's intentionally avoiding the issue, as an out-of-wedlock child to teenagers wouldn't serve a politician well - especially when that child ends up being more than willing to bend a rule here or there!). Being involved with someone when you are sixteen then losing touch with them only to meet up with them again later in life and find out that the person you once cared so much about has turned into someone you find reprehensible I think is something a lot of people could relate to.

aussie - I got your back on the whole Jason and Liz thing. They aren't together and aren't going to be together and I for one have to give the writers props for that decision because I believe that is keeping both Liz and Jason true to their characters. I get that they love each other and I get that the actors have great chemistry between them, but the lifestyles of the characters just don't mesh.

I think Jason not being with Liz is true to Jason's character because Jason does really love Liz and Jake (and I'm sure he loves Cam too), but he knows he can't keep them safe in his world and he knows that Liz can't handle the lifestyle. And Jason can't just leave the mob. Whether we think he should or could, that's the established premise on the show, so, no matter how many people would like him to get another brain injury and go back to the boring "Dudley Do-Right" Jason Quatermaine that he used to be when he was a pre-med student, it's not an option.

And Liz is being true to character because Liz is supposed to be portraying the responsible "good" mother on the show, so she can't and won't put her needs and desires before the safety of her boys. And before anyone gets mad about me saying that Liz is "supposed to be" the good mother on the show, I only wrote it that way because TPTB really don't give us many scenes with her AND the kids in them together, so have to assume how she is with them.

The real problem is that Jason continues to be attacted to the "goody-goody" types that he was when he was a pre-med student before his accident (i.e. Robin, Courtney, Liz). That's not a good match when your job now is as a mob enforcer. If it's not Sam, someone LIKE Sam is a much better fit in Jason's life - like Carly and Claudia are better fits in Sonny's life than Alexis, Emily or Kate. Not sure how Olivia would fit with Sonny, but she's with Johnny now and doesn't seem to mind the mob aspect to that.

When Jason and Liz were together, it was like they pretended that the rest of the world didn't exist (and they had to because their worlds are so different). That's fine for an affair, but that's not a foundation for a lasting relationship, no matter how much you love someone.
