Carly sees Michael's hand move, Johnny and Maxie take Ric to the hospital and Lulu catches Johnny in a lie.
Jason comes home and finds Spinelli pretending to be sick. He quickly explains that he's just trying to get Maxie to stay home with him instead of going out with Johnny again tonight. Maxie comes in and assures Spinelli that he can trust her and she will call him as soon as she and Johnny leave the function. After a quick kiss, she breezes out the door. Jason informs Spinelli that he just was played.
Sonny is waiting outside Claudia's bedroom door while she scurries to hide an unconscious Ric. When she finally opens the door, he asks what's going on? He comes in and apologizes for not having time for her earlier. He starts to undress and Claudia asks for a few minutes to freshen up. She says that she'll meet him in his room, but he starts to pour a drink instead. She pulls the glass from his hand and insists that she needs some romance and not just another romp in her rumpled bed. Sonny asks why she suddenly cares about such things, but agrees to go wait for her. "I need it now," he says as he warns her to hurry.
Lulu finds Johnny at home and wants to talk about their fight. She tells him that she would never try to change him and if he doesn't want to leave his family, he shouldn't do it just for her. All she asks for is complete honesty. Before he can talk, Maxie comes in and chastises him for running late for their Crimson event. Johnny doesn't want to walk out on Lulu, but Maxie reminds them that this is business!
Once Johnny and Maxie are settled in the back of a limo, Johnny gets a call from Claudia. He tells her that he's working tonight, but she says that she needs him right now or else Sonny will find out about Michael!
When Johnny and Maxie show up at Sonny's house, Claudia protests about Maxie's presence. Johnny assures her that Maxie can be trusted, so Claudia tells them that they need to get Ric to the hospital and get his stomach pumped right away. After Claudia explains what happened, Maxie warns Johnny that this better not get her killed!
After they have finally gotten Ric into a car, Maxie asks Johnny what exactly is going on here? Johnny says that he can't explain, but it goes back to the secret that he's keeping from Lulu. Maxie softens and says that Georgie used to go overboard to protect her, so she won't ask anymore questions.
Claudia meets Sonny downstairs and he asks what took her so long. She tries to distract him with talk of the party. She cranks up the music and tells him that she wants to show him how grateful she is for his treatment of her last night. When they finally get back to 'not talking', they are interrupted by Jason. Claudia takes the opportunity to go out for a while.
Jason tells Sonny about Rayner forcing him to wear a wire and that's why he spilled a drink all over his shirt. He assures Sonny that he would never give him up, but at least now Spinelli has been cut loose. Sonny suggests that Jason cut ties with Spinelli because he's just too weird and he can't have his enforcer under the microscope of the FBI. Jason says that Sonny should cut Claudia loose then, too. Sonny says that he can't leave Claudia after she gave her father over to him. He reminds Jason that he'll never have 'happily ever after' and Claudia is the wife he deserves. He says that Michael is paying the ultimate price for his arrogance and he has to live with that now. He says that he feels like he slept through the past year, but now he's seeing clearly. "I'm going to work real hard at finding out who shot my son," Sonny declares. He asks Jason to get all information possible about Ian Devlin so they can find out if he acted alone.
Spinelli shows up at Lulu's place complaining about their significant others and their evening plans. Lulu assures him that Johnny and Maxie's date is just work, but Spinelli isn't convinced. Lulu gets a call from a very angry Clarisse and learns that Maxie and Johnny never showed up at the club opening. Later when Maxie and Johnny return, they act as if they went to the Manhattan event and Lulu finally tells them that she knows they didn't go.
When Ric wakes up in Mercy hospital, Claudia is by his bed. She tells him that she was scared to death when he passed out. Ric cuts her off and tells her that she tried to kill him.
Down the hall, Rebecca tells Nik that her radiologist wants to do a core biopsy in two weeks. Nik finds the guy and asks why she has to wait so long? He offers to pay any extra expenses involved in getting a procedure sooner, but all the doctor can do is explain why they won't simply do a needle biopsy. "Because of the specific characteristics of her mass," he says. After more pressing, the doctor concedes to getting her scheduled for one week from now. Later, Rebecca thanks Nikolas for his complete understanding of her fear. He asks if she'll let him take care of her since she has no family in town.
Rebecca comes home with Nikolas and he pours her some tea with Brandy. She asks if he went through all of this with Emily and he clarifies that this isn't about Emily anymore - it's her experience. Rebecca wants to know how Emily fought breast cancer, but Nik reminds her that this is her own struggle, not Emily's. She is so cold that a blanket doesn't help so she asks him to put his arms around her.
Carly finds Jax at Michael's bedside and asks if he's eating himself up with guilt for not being around when Michael was shot. Jax, grateful that she didn't find out about Jerry's DVD, agrees. They go out for some sushi, and when they return Carly talks to Michael about the sea urchin that Jax just ate. As she kisses him goodbye, she sees his hand flinch. "Oh my God!"

Carly doesn't believe Patrick when he says that Michael's hand movement was involuntary.
Jason worries that Carly will get her heart broken about Michael again.
Jax destroys Jerry's DVD.
Sam promises Jason that she'll look out for Spinelli when they are business partners.

Lulu and Spinelli suspect that something is going on between Johnny and Maxie.
Maxie flirts with Ethan.
