Claudia drugs Ric only to find that she'll be exposed if he dies, Robin goes to Jason and Rebecca needs a biopsy.
Nikolas asks Rebecca's doctor to clarify why they need an ultrasound. He won't say more. Rebecca squeezes Nik's hand and asks him to wait for her. "As long as it takes," he replies. While he's waiting, Monica finds him and Nik explains why he's there. He asks again if Paige Bowen ever mentioned having another daughter? He just doesn't believe that Rebecca's possible breast cancer is a coincidence. Monica reaffirms that it must be because she would know if Emily had any remaining family.
Inside, Rebecca can't help but to look at the monitor during her ultrasound. She recognizes a dark spot but the radiologist tells her that they'll just have to wait and see. Then he tells her that she'll need a biopsy.
Claudia calls her pharmacy to get the proper dosage of the prescription that she just picked up. "Only two at a time and not with alcohol," she repeats. Then she pours a big drink and starts empting capsules into it.
Downstairs, Ric is pleased to be in Sonny's good graces for giving him a heads up about the ambush. Jason comes in and Sonny tells him to speak freely in front of his brother. Jason asks Sonny why he suddenly trusts Ric, and Ric makes an attempt at filling Jason in on human dynamics. Sonny tells Jason that if it weren't for Ric he'd be dead right now. Jason thinks that Ric set the whole ambush up. Ric cockily tells Sonny that he'll be in touch and then leaves. Sonny promptly assures Jason that he doesn't seriously trust Ric. He assures Jason that he's on top of it and is okay. Jason tells Sonny to keep Ric out of his face then.
Robin is over at her house yelling at Patrick for blabbing to Carly about her problems. Patrick tells her not to use the words 'betrayal' or 'trust' to him any more. He reminds her that she's put him through a lot lately and tells her that he needed to talk to someone! Robin says that Carly hates her and she'll deal with her own problems! Patrick asks when she intends on getting started and Robin walks out the door.
Carly comes into Jax's office and asks why Jerry's face is on his computer screen? Olivia makes herself scarce. Jax explains that Jerry is alive and sent him an email with an attachment. He says that his brother didn't even bother to worry what his staged death might do to their mother. Carly asks if she's supposed to be happy or sad? Jax says that nothing about his brother is simple. He says that he doesn't want anything to do with Jerry because he is a sociopath. Carly thinks they should be happy that Jerry's alive and there's always hope that he'll reform. Jax says that they have found their way back to each other and that's all that matters to him.
Sonny stops by Patrick's house to talk to him about Michael. Patrick lets him in and says that he doesn't expect a change from Michael. Sonny can see that something is bothering Patrick and he asks what it is. Patrick reluctantly tells him about Robin's PPD and her trip to Rochester. Sonny borrows from his personal experience with bipolar disorder and says that getting help is a big step. He shares some of his insights into Robin's independent streak and Patrick concedes that Sonny certainly knows his wife well. Sonny says that Robin has let herself down and it's making her unstable. Patrick asks for advice and Sonny says that Emma must come first. Then, he needs to make it okay for Robin to flounder. Patrick takes it all in.
Robin spills the contents of her purse on the waterfront. Jason comes upon her and helps her pick everything up. She falls apart and says that she's a rotten wife and mother and that her life is falling apart. She credits Patrick for being sensitive, but all she feels is judged. Jason says that Patrick may not be doing everything right, but he's a good guy and he only wants her to get better.
Ric goes to Claudia and asks what she found for him? Claudia says that she's found nothing, but maybe tomorrow. Ric tells her to at least take him to bed then. "Let's go and get it over with," she says through clenched teeth. Once upstairs, she pours them each a drink. He tells her to take her clothes off, "Real slow, as if you like me." After he has his way with her, he tells her that she'll come crawling back to him willingly one day. She tells him that'll never happen. Ric sloppily jokes that at least she can't kill him. When she asks what he means by that, Ric asks, "Have you ever heard the expression 'in the event of my death'?" He's fading fast, but she is able to get him to say that a copy of Jerry's DVD will be sent to Sonny if he dies. Then he blacks out and Claudia tries to revive him. That's when Sonny knocks on the door and asks to come in.
Patrick finds Robin on the waterfront and they both apologize for blowing up. She tells him that she is all talked out at the moment. She tells him that Jason came by and helped her see a few things, but now she's done. Patrick tells her that he is her husband and she should be able to open up to him.
Jax is at Michael's bedside. He tells the boy that if he had allowed Jerry to go to prison in the first place, maybe he wouldn't have been shot. He says that he had the chance to tell Carly about Jerry's involvement, but he didn't because he would've lost her forever. Carly opens the door and finds them together.
