Jax and Alexis have some quality time together.
Lucky and Jason have some quality time together.
Ric and Elizabeth have some quality time together.
Carly meets Jax at the Metro Court. He wants them to go visit Alexis and ask her to be his “best person” at the wedding. Carly says that she doesn't want that woman anywhere near her wedding. Jax points out that he's not thrilled that Sonny will be part of his family or that Jason is her “best person”. He says that Alexis, his best friend/ex wife, is part of the baggage that accompanies him into their relationship. Shouldn't they both be flexible? So, off they go to visit Alexis.
At Kelly's, Lulu tells Maxi that nothing she does will make her brother want her. And, since she didn't get a big payoff from the Quartermaines, she can go ahead and safely, legally terminate her pregnancy. Maxi goes ballistic and Dillon steps up to defend Lulu. Which, of course, sets Maxi into a different tirade, asking Georgie to notice how close her boyfriend is with the “skank”.
Liz asks Cruse what he overheard in the surveillance tapes from Jason's penthouse. Once she knows that Ric overheard that her baby might be Jason's, she questions his motives. Cruse can't guess, but suggests that it would be better for Lucky to hear it from her, just in case Ric plans on going to him.
Ric is visiting Lucky at rehab. He tells Lucky that he wasn't a good husband to Elizabeth when they were married and that he wants her to have a good life now. He offers to help Lucky out in making that possible. Ric says as the DA, he has the ability to override Mac and give Lucky his job back. He says that he'll be keeping his eye on Lucky, if he cheats again or goes back to drugs, he'll rip Lucky's world apart.
At the hospital. Patrick surprises Robin and she is thrilled that he is back from Paris. They are kissing out in the open and Epiphany says, “Ah-hem, are we in the supply closet?” They flatly reply that they are on their way there. But they get serious for a minute first. Robin asks if Dr. LaGrossi can bring Laura Spencer back. Patrick tells her that he's not sure if it's better to leave Laura in the state she's in rather than risk making it worse.
At the waterfront, Jason tells Sam that they can't take back any of their mistakes, all they both can do is move forward. He says it's up to her if she wants to make it work with them, even if he turns out to be the baby's father. Sam says her options are: #1) Make her family with Alexis work somehow #2) Rent a salvage boat and take off #3) “I will always choose you.” (You should've seen his face, like a little boy at Christmas.) Jason tells Sam that if he does end up being the baby's father, he will want to participate in its life. Sam says she wants him to be a father, but she didn't want it to happen like this.
At Kelly's, Dillon sets Maxi straight. He tells her that he and Georgie are in love and completely committed so leave her out of it. Maxi warns Georgie that Lulu wants to steal Dillon. “Look at her, standing there all innocent.” (Lulu gives the cutest little wave.) After Maxi storms off, Lulu apologizes to Georgie for setting Maxi off. Dillon apologizes to Lulu for Maxi bringing up the abortion. Georgie isn't thrilled to see how staunchly he still supports Lulu.
Jason visits Lucky at rehab. Lucky tells him that a part of recovery is making amends to the people you hurt, and Jason is on his list. Lucky tells him that he resented him for killing Manny and that he should have never tried to frame him. Jason graciously tells him that he's getting the help that he needs and they can all move on. Lucky apologizes profusely and thanks him for being such a good friend to him, and to Elizabeth. He tells Jason that he is glad that Liz has had him to turn to. Jason offers his forgiveness and they move on to lighter subjects, like the fact the Ric paid Lucky a little visit earlier.
At the restaurant, Elizabeth tells Ric that her situation isn't that dire. She says that she has good medical insurance & maternity leave and a good support system with her Gram, Emily & Nicolas. She tells him to focus on Alexis. He confides in Elizabeth that he wonders if Alexis even needs him – she's so independent. “You, on the other hand, I can help. You got pregnant by a man you can't depend on.” He then tells her that she can rely on him.
After Jax and Carly arrange for a different prescription to help with her nausea, Alexis says she needs a distraction. So Jax finally gets to ask her to be the best person at his wedding. She asks if she can make a toast while running to the bathroom to throw up. She starts to cry and that's when Sam comes home. Jax jumps down her throat for not being around when Alex had the bad reaction to the chemo.
Dillon tells Georgie to stop changing the salt and pepper shakers and pay attention to him. She admits that she hates how much he defends Lulu. She reminded him the Lulu isn't much different from Maxi in that she lied and deceived her way into a pregnancy. Dillon says that just because he defends Lulu, doesn't mean that he wants to be with her. Georgie asks him if he's sure.
Maxi shows up at rehab and begs Lucky to let her in. She acts all upset (and innocent!) about the Quartermaines and Mac and everyone who knows about their baby. She tells him that she loves the baby with all of her heart and wants to know if he will too. He says that he hopes to work out some kind of custody arrangement. He says he knows he was pretty out of it when they were together, but he's pretty sure he used protection. She cries and tells him she needs him, she weasels her way into his arms and clings to him. Lulu shows up and tells her to get away from her brother, you s**t!
Sam rushes to Alexis's side to make sure she's okay, and everyone cools off. Alexis says she needs to talk to Jax alone, so Carly and Sam go outside. Alexis tells Jax to stop being so afraid, that she will survive this. On the porch, Sam feels badly about being with Jason instead of her mother. Carly tells her that Alexis can hire a nurse; she needs to be with Jason before Elizabeth uses the baby to steal him away.
Elizabeth visits Jason and before he gets a chance to ask what she's doing there, she rushes over to the stereo, turns on some music and tells him that she needs to dance with him right now. When he gets close to her, she whispers that his penthouse has been bugged. Jason assures her that Stan swept the whole penthouse and she can talk freely. So Elizabeth tells him that she's pretty sure Ric knows that he could be the father of her baby.
Jax tells Alexis that her so-called husband should be there to help her. Alexis admits that right now, she's better off when he's not around. Jax wants to know what that means.
