General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

It's wedding central over at Mac's house. He's nervously making phone calls to the PCPD involving the traffic flow to the church while Robin calmly puts stamps on envelopes. Suddenly, there's a whirling sound of a helicopter outside and then Anna comes through the front door. She had a last-minute assignment and then took a little time to see Robert, who is doing better and sends his love, by the way. She asks if she should help Mac with the security for the wedding, but Robin tells her that she should relax and have fun, that's all that's left to do thanks to Maxie. Anna sits with her and becomes emotional about all of her daughter's milestones that she's reaching. Then she talks about her regrets for not being there for Robin after Stone died. Robin says that she's here now and she couldn’t be happier about that.

Olivia thinks she's in love when she comes upon Patrick standing next to his racecar out on a street near the hospital. As she lifts the hood to check it out, he explains that he bought it when he finished his residency. He asks if she races, but she says that she finds it more relaxing to fix a car than to race it. She asks if he drove it over here. He says that he wanted to drive it one more time before he gets married and puts it up for sale. Olivia tells him that marriage doesn't have to mean giving up the things that he loves. Patrick says that Robin didn't tell him to quit, but it'll be hard to justify the time with a wife and baby. She expresses her concern that he'll resent his wife down the road and advises him to keep racing. She tells him that if he's grateful for all of his gifts, he'll be happy.

Over at Queen of Angels, Maxie and Spinelli are hard at work getting the church ready for the wedding. Spinelli can't help but stare at her amidst all the flowers and tell her that she'll be a lovely bride one day. Maxie says that she doesn't think she'll ever marry, but watching her mom and Mac get married was really nice. She wistfully says that she thought they'd be a family forever, but all of Felicia's vows were lies because she left them just a year later. She says that she hates her mother for making terrible choices, just like she does. That's why marriage isn't in her future, Maxie tells a deflated Spinelli.

Claudia was so busy last night that she forgot that Ric was waiting for her at a room above Jakes'. He tells her as much when he breezes into the Zacchara study, and she apologizes. She explains that she was busy trying to marry Jason in order to secure her place in the family. She says that it didn't go through, though, but she would've done it. Ric is furious with her, and even more so after she tells him that now she'll have to marry his brother!

"I almost married Claudia Zacchara last night to save you," Jason tells Sonny when he comes down his stairs for coffee. Sonny says that the only thing he can do for him is to take Karpov out. Jason explains that he wanted to buy him some time to think before he jumps in with the Zaccharas! Sonny tells him that he knows what 'almost married' means because it was his bride who was gunned down right before his eyes. Jason tells him that working with the Zaccharas won't change that and he should walk away. Sonny clarifies that he doesn't trust the Zaccharas either, but he needs to find out what makes them tick. He tells Jason that if they end up at opposite sides, "…so be it." Jason turns and leaves without a word.

Claudia breezes into Kate's hospital room, replaces her vase of flowers, and asks for insight into Sonny for when she marries him. She explains that her father insists that she marry Sonny before he joins the family business. Kate tells her that she's out of her mind. Claudia plops down on Kate's bed and says that now she can offer Sonny more than sex, she can offer power and they both know that's a big turn-on to him. Kate says that Sonny hates her, but Claudia says that Sonny will soon be hers. That's when Olivia shows up and tells Claudia to get away from her cousin!

Ric shows up at Sonny's house and tells him not to marry Claudia. Sonny says that he turned Anthony down, but they both know it's just the beginning of negotiations. Then Sonny asks if Ric doesn't want him running the Zacchara family, or is he more territorial about Claudia these days? Ric doesn't answer, so Sonny offers that he wants no part of it and that Anthony isn't stable or else he wouldn't put his daughter in this situation. Ric lightens up a bit, and Sonny tells Ric that he should marry her instead. Ric tells him that she's not as tough as she seems and that Sonny could do him a favor and leave Claudia out of it.

Maxie shows up in Jason's office and asks if he's too busy whacking people to go to his friend Robin's wedding? She says that this is Robin, not Carly, and this will probably be her only wedding. Jason explains that he doesn't want to put Robin at risk, but Maxie says that isn't the point. She reminds Jason that they were both around after Stone died and he was a big part of her recovery from grief, so he should help celebrate her joy.

Sonny shows up at the hospital and finds Olivia furious. She says that Claudia just told Connie that he was going to marry her! Sonny says that Claudia can run her mouth all over town, but he's not going to marry her. Olivia says that she knows him well enough to know that he'll do whatever is necessary to get power and revenge.

Claudia shows up at Anthony's house and says that daddy really does know best. She says that he needs her for the first time in her life and she's going to work it! Anthony says that she's just like her mother and won't get away with manipulating him. He calls her a disgrace, but she says that he must be desperate or else he wouldn't be showing his cards so soon. She gets right in his face and tells him that he can pimp her out, but it has its price. Anthony is enraged and as he screams at her, he suddenly starts choking.

Patrick shows up at the hospital and Matt asks why he isn't at the church. Patrick says that he has time, and explains that Robin was the one who insisted that they send him a wedding invitation. Matt says that he's not coming anyway. Epiphany tells Patrick not to tempt fate and get home and get ready for his wedding. Patrick says that he has time to make rounds first.

It's time for Robin to leave for the church and she finds that the limo out front of Mac's house is surrounded by squad cars! Maxie suddenly realizes that everything is accounted for except the groom. Then she tells Spinelli to go make sure that the best man hasn't gotten him drunk at Jake's. Robin confidently tells them all to relax because Patrick won't be late.

Next on General Hospital:

Claudia decides against helping her father.

Johnny finds them and can't let himself watch his father die.

Since Patrick is still at the hospital when Anthony is brought in, he performs surgery and is assisted by Matt.

Jason and Liz enjoy a few brief moments at the church alone.

Spinelli can't find Patrick anywhere.
