Great Episode Today.

At first I wasn't into this Maximus story. I had a feeling when Carly walked in that Max would claim that she was his girlfriend. I bet Max will be in the doghouse with Diane over that. Loved how Jason raised three fingers and looked thoroughly fed up. I fouund it appalling how Maximus wanted every woman that walked into the room.

Things started getting interesting when Maxie and Spinelli were thrown into the mix. I just laughed my head off when Maximus talked about his tech guy and how it was a shame they had to whack him. The reactions to his comment was priceless. Then Jason having to fetch Maxie magazines and drinks was funny too.

Liked how Maximus pointed out that Karpov was too smart to be that obvious. Jason sure took notice then. Maybe they should have Maximus talk with Sonny.

Olivia was quick to check out Patrick's credentials but didn't bother to bone up on the PCPD before talking to Alexis. Mac didn't even know the guy was in town. Alexis sure doesn't seem to concerned about her children when dealing with this mobster.

If Karpov did his homework, he would realize he had nothing to worry about with the PCPD. Jerry declares he is not Karpov's minion but isn't he paying the guy to solve his problems. Couldn't believe he ordered Jerry to kill Alexis? How Jerry killed anyone he has asked him to?

Liked the interaction between Ric and Claudia. They sure were hot. Can't quite get into Sam and Lucky. It would help if Sam would maintain some kind of eye contact.

Nice that scrubs is planning their wedding but isn't Oct 29th a little late. I thought the baby was due in Oct. Poor Patrick seems to have a hard time with this secret. Does patient/doctor confidentialty apply to deep dark secrets?

Absolutely LOVED the Scenes today with Max and his dad. When Maxie gave Jason her drink order and told him to get her the magazine and cookies I couldn't stop laughing! Can't wait to see more!

i love olivia. she doesnt take crap from anybody. she has her own opinions and listens before she makes her judgement.

i am starting to finally like robin and patrick.

jason has the best poker face.

poor spinelli, hope they dont whack him.

i can feel the heat between ric and caludia. they best offer sarah a good contract.

if maurice signs a new contract, i hope they do something better with the sonny character, i am not liking him much altely.

october 29th it is, finally.

i am trying really hard to like lisam.

sam needs to get pregnant.

with lucky's child.

i wish sabastian wasnt leaving, i really liked him.

OMG maxi was great TELLING jason what to get her.

i do like coleman, they really should make him a more prominebt character.

i hope when they end jerry's run, they leave it open for sebastian to come back.

Hey Playdoc ~~~~ Thanks for the site to check out the status of contract renewals! I understand everyone doing 'cut backs' and some shows even rumored to be cancelling because of low ratings. It still doesn't make it any easier to see some of our long time fav's leaving! A sign of the times I guess!

Wonderful posts today, thanks to Ebony628, NYDrama and all the others who wrote some really insightful comments. Let us hope that TPTB read them and take notice.

I too loved the Maximus/Max/Maxie/Milo/Jason/Diane/ Spinelli/Carly comedy act. Not since the scheming feuding Quartermains in their heyday have I laughed so much. We DEFINITELY need more of this. I was half expecting someone to open a closet door and a hidden body fall out, or even better, a hidden body that was in danger of being discovered every time someone not-in-the-know almost opened the door. This was pure farce with wonderful comic timing.
(Hint, try this someday with the Keystone Cops!)

I also think that Maximus knows exactly what is going on and who is in charge, and that he probably came back to the US to take advantage of a power struggle. How did he get back in the the US if he was deported? Never mind, this is soapland. I hope that they keep him around for a long time. With all his womanizing, perhaps HE will be Spinelli's dad!

I have only just heard that we will be losing Jerry. Darn it. I liked Sebastian Roche. If they do let him go I hope they make it a big exit and tie up some loose ends, but leave the way open for a return some day. I don't like characters being killed off as it is too final.

I hate to knock the actors, but why is it that Maxie can say and do the silliest things and get away with it, yet Nadine seems to get on our nerves? Is it the script, or is the actress is miscast. Whichever, I feel sorry for her as acting is a tough profession and she is dealing with a lot of rejection from viewers. I suggest that the writers take Nadine in a different direction make her less gauche and tone down the down home perky style a little. After all, she has spent years studying to be a nurse so she cannot be all that immature.

Coleman and Claudia! Yes please.

The comment about the sloppy editing. It could be that the local stations are sticking in too many commercials and station promos, which overrun the allotted commercial break, or they could be using student trainees to save money.

I fogot to add in my post that the fiery Olivia is a much better match for Sonny than Kate, who is becoming a doormat. Olivia can stand up to Sonny, and after all, he does thrive on the drama and conflict.

Olivia is a pushy busy body. Ok, she is versatile by maintaining her own car but in a dressy top, earrings, & manicured fingernails all clean; without one spot of dirt on her face or clothing. Her brash demeanour makes me cringe everytime she puts in her two cents worth. If she would only shut her mouth for a minute or two, maybe someone else can talk. Olivia, if don't like the way things are going in Port Charles, then leave. Or better yet, Jerry before you go, take her out, please.

I'm glad Claudia is with Ric. If there were ever 2 people who deserve each other, it's those 2. I did not want her to get her hooks into Nicolas. She is too trashy for him, but Ric is just as trashy as she is. But I don't like Nadine for Nicolas. I liked her at first, but now they have her playing a complete dummy who makes no sense, and who is always taking unnecessary chances. Maybe he should hook up with Elizabeth since she and Jason will never make it work.
I'm not sure I like Olivia. She hasn't seen her cousin for 20 years, and she wants to come in and take over and make all decisions for her. She is just a loud mouth who needs to go back home.

Playdoc: Regarding you're comment: "Sam & Lucky - They're both hot and sexy, but I agree with others at not seeing the longterm potential. It'd be more believable that they're "in love" now, if there were actual scenes written and shown, where these two are seen falling in love." COMPLETELY AGREE!! We have never seen these two in a situation aside from having sex or complaining about Jason and Liz, so HOW do they expect us to believe they are in love? There was NOTHING shown that they were "getting there" aside from the odd word or two. I can't get behind this couple as I haven't seen EITHER one grow as a person or within the couple
