General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Carly can't believe it when she overhears Marty tell Olivia that Sonny is covering all of her charges. (Yes, even the mini bar much to Olivia's delight.) Carly quickly introduces herself as Sonny's ex and asks who she is. Olivia tells her that she is the bride's cousin from Bensonhurst. Carly asks if she knows Lois Cerullo and Olivia reports that she and "Brookie are tearin' it up out in LA," but they always visit Mrs. Cerullo when they're in the city. Carly is clearly tickled pink to see that Kate has such a non-polished family member. She orders a bottle of champagne and gets Olivia to tell her the scoop about 'Connie', as well as the fact that she used to date Sonny, too. Olivia reports that when Connie started dating Sonny, it seemed to end quickly and then she went off to Princeton, while Sonny started working for Joe Scully. As Olivia recalls how much it hurt when her cousin never looked back, Carly promises that the wedding tomorrow will be really fun.

Later, Jax hears Carly tell Marty to comp spa services and flowers to Olivia's room. He gets on her for it and she reminds that he's rolling out the red carpet for Kate's guest so why shouldn't she for Sonny's? They argue and Carly ends it by saying that she'll see him at the wedding tomorrow.

Jax turns around and finds Nik standing behind him. It appears that their respective attorneys have arranged a meeting, but it might as well happen now. Jax is curious what this is about, so Nik tells him that he'd like to buy The Metro Court. He says that he is expanding his holdings and Jax asks why he can't buy the Cosmopolitan? Nik explains that there's such a great view of The Metro Court from Spoon Island that he wants to own it. Jax says that The Metro Court is not for sale no matter how generous the offer is.

The wedding rehearsal is underway at the chapel. Sonny and Kate agree upon various things, and when they run through their vows Sonny gets choked up with emotion. When it's over, Kate says that she feels much better. Sonny reminds her that tomorrow night they'll leave for the island and after that, the French wine country.

Out at the Zacchara mansion, Claudia is giving Ric a hard sell about why he should take her to the wedding of the year. She promises a great shock factor, as well as a little preview of what it will be like to be with her. She says that she might want to go only to upset Kate, or even to flirt with Sonny, but the only way he'll find out is if he takes her. Then she asks if, after the trial and watching her brother fall apart thanks to Lulu, wouldn't he like to be the one to pick up the pieces?

Across town, Elizabeth needs to process what she just heard Jason say. She asks him why he changed his mind so suddenly about seeing her. He says that his life is dangerous and that'll never change, but he wants to take her to Italy after Sonny's wedding tomorrow. "Yes!" is her answer. She says that she has a week's worth of vacation to use, so Epiphany shouldn't mind. She promises to tell Lucky that she's going away with him in case there's an emergency and they decide to meet at the airport after the wedding.

Out at Shadybrook, Lucky finally lets Johnny go. He explains that Lulu is so bad off that she has started to hallucinate that their mother is well. Johnny hears him out, and then decides to leave. When Lucky goes into Lulu's room, she's furious with him for making Johnny leave.

Nik finds Nadine behind the nurses' desk and asks why she left him a note? She says that she's ready to get back to work and knew he'd object. Besides, she has a hunch about the drug ring that she's dying to investigate.

Sonny goes home and finds Milo there. He reports that Max arrived in Sicily just fine and is with their father at this very moment. Just then, Anthony is wheeled into the room and Milo and Sonny stiffen. Anthony assures them that he's a crippled old man who doesn't mean any harm. He explains that he threatened the mother of Kristina during the stress of Johnny's trial and is sorry about that. He uses the old 'from one father to another' cliché in hopes of Sonny's forgiveness and then is on his way.

When Kate gets home, she finds Olivia there. It takes her a while to get over the shock, but is glad to see her. Olivia offers to leave, but explains how Sonny found her and said how much she's been missing her family. Kate can't disagree. They catch up and Kate learns that Olivia still works at the car shop and never married. When she refers to 'Connie', Kate reminds her that's not her name anymore. They talk about the old neighborhood and Olivia suggests that Kate do a spread on their Italian festival in Crimson. Kate is pleased to hear that her cousin reads her magazine. Sonny comes home and asks Kate how she likes her surprise. After Kate has gone to change her dress for the rehearsal dinner, Sonny invites Olivia to dinner with them, but she politely declines. Kate comes out, ready to go, and Sonny asks Kate if she wouldn't rather have family for her maid of honor instead of a co-worker? Kate softens and says that she would. After Olivia hustles back to The Metro Court, Kate tells Sonny that she has all the family she needs in him.

Johnny barges into the family room at the mansion and finds Claudia on the phone ordering a dress. He's fuming over the treatment that Lucky gave him and says that at least Nikolas respects Lulu's feelings. Claudia tries to calm him down by saying how mad he would be at himself if he caused Lulu to lose it completely.

Later, Lulu calls Johnny and asks if he's coming out to see her. He says that he doesn't want to make things worse for her. She reminds him that he's a free man and can do whatever he wants. In the end, he promises to come see her tomorrow.

When Jason gets home, he finds Carly waiting for him. She's all fired up to go to the wedding and tells him that she wants to get there early. Jason accuses her of having a plan. "We all have a plan in one way or another, right?" Carly teases. She explains that the great Kate Howard will get exactly what she deserves tomorrow.

Anthony returns home and asks Claudia why she is making Ric take her to the wedding. Claudia says that she wants to see and be seen, that's all. Anthony thinks it's actually a good idea because he thinks it's time to form an alliance with Sonny in order "…to keep the power in the family."
