Patrick is disgusted to hear that his father cheated on his mom, Kate invites Jason to their wedding and Max follows his heart back to Diane.
Lucky scurries to hide in Sam's apartment because Alexis is at the door. Sam lets her in and Alexis gets right to the point. She starts by saying that the last time they were in this position a lot of awful things happened. Sam is curious, so Alexis comes right out and says that Jerry claims she hit on him. Sam is stunned, but admits that she has spent some time with him lately, but only to get to know him better to see if his intentions for Alexis are true. Alexis thanks her, but suggests that whatever is going on should probably stop. After she's gone, Lucky comes out and tells Sam to defend herself to her mother! Sam says that Jerry just upped the stakes by going to Alexis!
Over at Jason's office, Carly is beaming as she taunts him with Spinelli's compatibility points. She asks him to guess the only point that they aren't a perfect match on. Jason says that he doesn't care and he won't listen anyway. Carly jubilantly says that they are both stubborn - that's it! She kisses him on the cheek and leaves him to his business.
Kate is upset because Sonny has a mysterious errand right at the time when she needs help with the wedding seating arrangements. He asks if she ever regrets leaving her past behind, and she admits that sometimes memories come flooding back. She recalls her last Thanksgiving with the Falconeries and how she has tried not to look back. She says that everyone is scattered now, or dead, and she doesn't have any regrets. Somewhat uncomfortable, she tells him that he should go on that errand now, so he kisses her goodbye.
Later, Kate looks through her old diary, but has to put it down when Mike comes out to see her. She asks if he minds if, as best man, he doesn't sit next to Giselle, her maid of honor, because she would have a lot more to talk about with Jax. Mike says that he fully expects to be bumped as best man anyway because Jason should stand up with Sonny.
At GH, Noah tells Matt that they only share DNA. Patrick comes right into the room and asks if Matt Hunter is Noah's son. He asks Matt how long he's known, and Matt says all of his life. Patrick asks Noah if his mother knew? Noah says that his mother knew that he wasn't always faithful, that's all. He explains that when Matt's mother Donna got pregnant, they agreed that she would move to Albuquerque and he would share financial responsibilities until the baby was 18. Patrick asks Matt how many times Noah tried to get in touch with him. "Including today? Once." Matt reports. Anna comes in and asks why they are all so tense? Noah tells her that Matt is his son.
Patrick is stewing out at the nurses' desk when Robin finds him. He explains that his father is a cheating liar and it's no wonder she doesn't want to marry him. Noah finds him and says that they need to talk about this. Patrick says if he wants absolution he should go to church or at least dive into another bottle of booze.
Laura and Lulu are talking together at Shadybrook. Lulu asks why she suddenly wants to talk to her sons. Laura assures her that she doesn't feel herself slipping, she just thinks it might be time to be a family again. Lulu couldn't agree more.
Max is waiting for Carly at The Metro Court bar. When he sees her, he uses some breath spray and then asks her out. Carly is stunned to hear that he and Diane broke up, and even more stunned to hear that he wants their date to be tonight. He and Carly sit down and order dinner and the conversation keeps going to Diane and Jax. Carly tells Max that they are both miserable and advises him to follow his heart.
Alexis has gone over to Diane's place and spits out that the daughter she only recently learned is her daughter, and who already slept with her husband, is now possibly hitting on Jerry. They agree that all men are dogs, especially the ones who they pick. Alexis is worried that Sam is angry at her for giving her up for adoption. Diane is stuck on the subject of cheating men and younger, hotter women. Alexis finally realizes that Diane and Max have broken up, so she opens another bottle of wine.
Jason has called Spinelli into his office to lay into him for signing him up for a dating service. Spinelli says that he hoped that Jason would realize that no one is for him except The Maternal One. Jason is angry as he says that Spinelli needs to stop telling him what he already knows. He says that he and Elizabeth love each other but they simply cannot be together.
Sam has called Jerry over to confront him. She tells him that Alexis was hurt and she doesn't appreciate that. Jerry tells her to cut him out of her life then and go back to mummy. Sam tells him that she will not sleep with him as long as he's with Alexis. He asks if she promises to make it worth his while?
At GH, Anna and Robin pay Matt a visit and ask if he needs anything. Matt says that he's not looking for family dinners or anything. Robin says that he's her baby's only uncle and that means something to her. Matt says that he doesn't want anything from anyone and Patrick comes in and tells him to talk to Robin with respect.
After Alexis leaves, Diane curls up with her laptop. She slowly notices that there's music coming from outside, so she walks out on her terrace to investigate as lyrics of 'let's get back together' fill the air. She can't believe her eyes when she realizes that Max is standing below her terrace holding a boom box over his head.
Nikolas and Lucky meet Lulu outside of Laura's room and want to know what the emergency is. Lulu is beaming as she tells her brothers that Laura asked her to call them, and then explains that their mom has been awake the whole time she has been across the hall from her. They all rush inside, but Laura is sleeping. Lulu assures them that this sometimes happens. However, the more Lulu tries to wake her, the more worried the boys become.
Kate goes to Jason's office to invite him to her wedding. He says that he can't come.
Sonny is in a bar in Bensonhurst. An old friend of his approaches him and they sit and catch up. His wife comes in and remembers Sonny, too. Later, Sonny sits alone, but not for long. "Are you looking for someone, or just me?" a woman asks him.
