Johnny visits Shadybrook, Claudia and Ric get promotions and Nikolas extends an invitation.
Nadine wakes up in her hospital room to find that Nikolas has spent the night sleeping in a chair next to her bed. She comments that he's a full-service hero and Nikolas clarifies that she is important to him. When the doctor comes to check on her, Nik steps out of the room. Liz stops by. She can see that Nik is uneasy about something, so she tells him her theory that he is surprised by his reaction to Nadine's injuries and doesn't know what to do about that now.
After the doctor has left Nadine's room, Nikolas goes back inside and fusses over her. She tells him that she is being released today. Nik says that she can't be alone in her apartment and that she needs to rest and enjoy the sunshine. Then he asks her to come home to Wyndemere with him.
Down the hall, Patrick is in Matt's room standing by his bed. Robin finds him and learns that Dr. Hunter isn't doing well at all and has a long road ahead of him. Patrick says that someone needs to look after him since there was no next of kin listed in his files. Robin thinks that's odd and suggests that maybe Anna can track down Matt's family.
Meanwhile, out in the hallway, Anna runs into Noah and welcomes him home from Doctors Without Borders with a big hug. She fills him in on everything that's gone on between Robin and Patrick while he was gone. She tells him about the proposal and the blogging effort that Patrick instigated.
Out at Shadybrook, Lulu is about to knock on Laura's door when Johnny comes walking down the hall to her room. She rushes into his arms. They catch up and Johnny surprises her by remembering that it was one year ago today that he picked her up on the side of the road. Lainey comes to Lulu's room and sends her to her group therapy. After Johnny promises to be here waiting when she returns, Lulu leaves. Lainey stays behind and says that he brings danger and stress into Lulu's life and suggests that this will be his last visit.
Out at the Zacchara mansion, Claudia breezes past Anthony's breakfast table and pours herself some coffee. He tells her that since she saved her brother, he has big plans for her. When Ric and Trevor show up, Anthony compliments Ric and slams Trevor at the same time. Trevor says that Richie's so-called success practically fell in his lap when Claudia decided to perjuring herself. Anthony isn't listening. Instead he announces that Ric deserves a bigger role around here, and Claudia can come back to the family business - on a limited basis. As Claudia beams, Trevor shakes his head and leaves the room.
Jason enters his office to find Maxie and Spinelli talking about online dating services. He orders them not to sign him up, and they tell him that it is for Carly, not him. Jason doesn't think it's a good idea, but Maxie gets in Jason's face for spitting all over Spinelli's idea. Jason tells them to do their 'work' somewhere else, so they pick up the laptop and leave. Maxie tells Spinelli that they are going to proceed as planned.
Sam is in Alexis's office trying to find a way to tell her that she thinks Jerry started the clinic fire. She starts by saying that she thinks he is more dangerous than Alexis could even consider. Alexis promises that her eyes are wide open. She says that she's really busy with the clinic fire but asks Sam if she'll come to dinner with her and the girls soon.
At the Metro Court, Carly is in Jax's face begging for forgiveness, but he reminds her that they are over. They sign some company business papers together and then Jax takes off. Maxie and Spinelli approach Carly's table and gently broach their idea to her. She appreciates their concern about her love life, but says that she's too raw right now, and so is Jax for that matter. Just then Maxie points out that Jax has escorted Leyla to a table. Carly changes her tune and asks them what kind of guys they have found for her.
Across the room, Max and Diane are eating. They had noticed the tension between Jax and Carly, and Max alludes to the fact that he thinks it's Diane's fault that they have broken up. One thing leads to another and somehow Max says that he doesn't think Sonny and Carly really cheated since they were married once and they only did it that one time in the limo. Happy to hear what Max's criteria for cheating is, she asks if he has cheated on her? He clarifies by saying that since they are only in a casual relationship, how would it be cheating? Taking that as a 'yes', Diane tells him that he'll never have the chance to cheat on her again because they are through!
When Lulu returns to her room, she finds a note from Johnny. He tells her that he loves her, but doesn't want to interfere with her treatment. She puts the note down and walks across the hall to see her mother. Laura is sleeping, so Lulu starts to leave. Laura wakes up and calls her back into the room. Lulu says it's scary to see her sitting in that chair, and then wonders aloud if Laura ever really woke up. Laura clarifies that she can get out of the chair whenever she wants to. Lulu says that maybe she needed her mother so much that she invented her. She says that since Laura doesn't want to see her brothers, maybe she's just another of her hallucinations.
Diane shows up in Jason's office in a sour mood. In the course of doing business, she manages to insult him several times simply for being a man. Just as Jason asks what is bothering her, Max busts into the room and asks if she has cheated on him!?! They proceed to make their argument even bigger and Jason sits and watches it all. Diane says that Mr. Giambetti is trading in an experienced woman for a young blonde in a tight sweater. Max says that she probably would rather be with a boss than a bodyguard and accuses her of being hot for Mr. C. She says that her days of slumming with a boy toy are over." Be gone with you!" she yells, and the second Max is gone, she crumbles in Jason's arms.
Alexis returns to her office and finds Jerry sitting at her desk. He schmoozes a few kisses out of her, reminds her of their passion from last night, and when she tells him that she's busy, he asks if she's making progress in the clinic fire case. Just then, Lucky comes in and says that they found charred remains of a firebomb at the clinic.
Back at GH, Noah comes across Anna when she's calling her headquarters in search of a Dr. Matt Hunter's family. He asks about the patient's name again and walks into Matt's room.
