Maxie is humiliated in the courtroom, Laura tells Lulu to let Johnny protect her and Jason and Nik team up to help Lulu.
"You look like iced lemonade on a hot summer's day," Spinelli tells Maxie when she worries about her outfit to wear to court today. She asks Jason what he thinks and all she gets is that she looks fine. She changes outfits and comments that she's doomed anyway because she'll get defensive and incriminate herself. Jason tells her that is what will happen unless she changes her attitude. Spinelli asks them to be nicer to each other because their discord is impeding his recovery. Maxie apologizes and plants a kiss on him. Jason and Spinelli offer some last minute advice on how to make Baldwin look like a bully on the stand. She tells Spinelli to take care of himself today, and then leaves.
Claudia wakes up in a hospital bed and finds Ric sitting with her. He asks how she's feeling and she says she would be feeling better if he would put her on the stand to save her brother. She promises that she can convince the jury that Johnny is innocent, but Ric tells her to concentrate on her recovery. Later Patrick does rounds and tells her that she needs to stay put for 48 hours in case she has a potentially fatal cranial bleed.
Down at the courthouse, Anthony taunts Scott with his daughter's name, "Serena." He says that perhaps the special prosecutor is forgetting there's another child he could lose. Scott tells him to stop flapping his dentures because Serena is out of his reach. Anthony promptly gives Serena's Paris street address and notes that she lives alone.
Lulu and Laura meet up in the Shadybrook gardens. Lulu is agitated because Johnny is facing the death penalty all because of her. She says that if she just gets on the stand she can fix everything. Laura says that it sounds like Johnny has a bit of a rescue complex like Luke does and maybe she should respect his choice to protect her. She reminds Lulu that Johnny took the blame from the beginning and probably has a plan like Luke would. Then she says that Lulu can hear her advice or not, it's up to her.
After Laura leaves Lulu to think, Nik shows up and tells Lulu that he's taking her out of the country. He says that she can recover in Switzerland and Lulu asks why he wants her to go all of a sudden. Then she figures out he knows that she killed Logan. Nikolas admits it and then says that Johnny came up with the idea to keep her from testifying (and confessing in the process). After Nik leaves, Laura returns and finds out that Nikolas wants to get Lulu out of the country. She says it's a good idea, but Lulu doesn't want to leave her. "It's Johnny you don't want to leave," Laura wisely says. She asks Lulu what Johnny would want her to do and says they both know he would want to protect her. "Let him!" Laura says firmly.
Jerry shows up at the clinic and asks Nadine to speak with Nikolas. She tells him that she'll deliver a message, and Jerry reports that he has word of a shipment of fake drugs and would like to let him know about it. Nadine suggests he go to the police, but Jerry says he's trying to win the favor of Mr. Cassadine in order to get closer to his aunt. On his way out, he fingers the bomb that he has ready to plant and whispers "Boom."
Patrick and Robin are at GH talking about a patient. They are all business and Robin seems unnerved by it. Later, she asks Liz why she's not relieved when she got what she wanted and Patrick dropped the subject of marriage. She says that Patrick has stepped up and she hasn't even met him halfway, what's more, now she has hurt him.
Later, Patrick finds Claudia in her room half dressed as she prepares to leave the hospital against his wishes. He tells her to get back into bed and she asks if he wants to get in with her. When he says no, she says, "Your mouth says no, but your eyes say 'bring it'." Just then Robin walks in and Patrick is quick to say that it's not what it looks like.
Nik goes to Jason and asks for some help getting Lulu out of the country. Jason calmly agrees and Nik asks why he doesn't at least look surprised. Jason says that he knows everything. Nik can't believe that Jason never came to him, but Jason explains that Johnny had already destroyed all the evidence that prooved it was self defense. Nik moves on and says that he'll call him when he's ready to proceed with the move.
Back in the courtroom, Maxie is sworn in. She nervously takes the stand but instantly feels better when she sees that Spinelli has put on a suit and shown up for support. Scott starts the questioning and gets Maxie to admit that she hates Lulu and slept with Logan on a bet to hurt her. He asks if she makes a habit of casually jumping into bed with guys, and Maxie looks nervously over at Spinelli. Scott moves on and is able to get Maxie to admit how crushed Lulu was when she learned what a pig Logan was. Scott attempts to clear up Logan's image for the jury and Maxie says, "The only person here who is surprised that your son got himself killed Mr. Baldwin, is you." Ric takes over and Maxie is able to explain how out of control Logan was on the day he died. When Maxie is excused, she takes off and Spinelli chases after her.
Lucky has called Sam down to the waterfront to show her something that could link Karpov to the counterfeit drug ring. When she arrives, he shows her some paperwork and she tosses it aside. She says it proves nothing and promises that she'll get the job done and soon. She gives him a big kiss for trying to help and Jerry comes around a corner and sees them. Sam quickly pushes Lucky away, but Jerry asks why they staged a big breakup? Sam quickly says that Lucky won't take the hint that they're over and maybe Jerry can convince him. She clarifies that she doesn't want Lucky to get hurt and Jerry says that he'll simply tell Alexis that one of her cops is corrupt. Lucky says that he's gone and then leaves.
Jason goes out to Shadybrook to talk to Lulu but learns that the DA's office has already sent guards to take her to the courthouse.
Across town, just as Ric is starting to feel pretty good about the testimony that has been heard so far, Scott announces that he has a new witness to call, Lesley Lulu Spencer.
