Kate confronts Sonny, Jax confronts Carly and if Spinelli could purr, he would.
Maxie takes over Spinelli's care and serves up some orange soda and potato chips. She even provides a bell to ring whenever he needs something. Jason has put her luggage in the "regrettably pink room" and she rushes upstairs to change. Mac shows up at the door to ask a few questions about Spinelli's hit and run. That's when Maxie comes downstairs wearing only a towel and asking for a loofah. Mac protests about her staying there and Spinelli rings his bell to report that his loofah is in the pink shower. Maxie rushes upstairs and Mac tells Spinelli that if anything happens to his daughter, "…that bell will find a new home in your colon."
Over at Crimson, Kate says, "I want you to tell me everything Max and Diane said, word for word." Clarice tells her about the limo ride and Carly's resulting pregnancy scare which lead her to Diane. Tears roll down Kate's cheeks and she remembers how she backed out of that trip to allow Carly her privacy. Suddenly she remembers the wedding and says the gossip will be rampant if she calls it off. She thanks Clarice for telling her and says she has a lot to think about. That's when Jax shows up.
Kate excuses Clarice and tells Jax that they have a lot to talk about. Jax proceeds to tell her about the boundaries she needs to respect from now on and that he owes Carly an apology. Kate struggles to hold her tongue and then laughs. She reminds him how shut out they felt the night Michael was institutionalized and now she knows it was with good reason. "Sonny and Carly had sex that night." Jax asks why he should believe her and Kate tells him to ask Diane. She says that everything people have been warning her about is true - Sonny and Carly can't stay away from each other. She reminds Jax that is the same night that they shared a kiss and how much groveling they had to do over it. "We've been played like fools," Kate says as Jax storms out of her office.
At the Metro Court, Sonny and Carly have taken a table so they can talk. After wishing each other every happiness, Sonny mentions the night they took Michael to the facility. Carly tells him to try not to think about that and Sonny says they need to let it go forever. They both agree that no one should ever know about it because it would hurt a lot of people. Sonny asks how often she sees Michael, she tells him about three times a week and that Bobbie has been going too. She's waiting to take Morgan until he's older, she adds. While on the subject, she says that Morgan is taking karate and asks about his dad all the time. Sonny asks if he can send a birthday gift and Carly says "of course." She says that if things ever calm down, they can work out some kind of visit. She tells Sonny that Morgan is happy and has a good life which is what they both want.
Downtown in the courtroom, Claudia has just been sworn in. Scott questions Claudia about Logan's relationship to their family and Claudia says that he took her father to the toilet. (Anthony is not amused.) Scott asks if she knew that her brother and Logan were both in love with Lulu Spencer. Scott establishes that Claudia saw her brother the night of the murder, but it remains unclear if it was before or after the murder took place. Next Scott calls Nadine to the stand and asks her about the car that dumped Logan's body at the clinic. He tries to railroad her into admitting to covering up for Johnny because she's in love with Lulu's brother Nikolas. Nadine doesn't buckle under the pressure. She assures the jury that she's probably not in love with Nikolas but she'd never lie anyway. After being dismissed she speaks directly to the judge about how Scott is just trying to get back at the Spencer family for being dumped by Lulu's mother many years ago. She is put in contempt of court, but the defense table is immensely pleased at what she was able to say before she was hauled out of the courtroom.
Once again, Robin finds all of her friends standing around at the GH nurses' desk. This time they admit that they really are talking about her. Nikolas approaches and says that he's come to meet with Patrick and Robin can't believe he would blog, too! Patrick whisks Nikolas over to the lounge so they can talk.
Sonny has gone home and found Diane waiting for him. She tells him that he needs to tell Kate about his indiscretion. She says that independent, self-made women have a hard time committing and Kate has put her heart into this relationship. Sonny says it was a one-time thing and Diane begs him not to marry Kate if he cannot be faithful. "When I'm married, I’m faithful," Sonny says. He tells Diane that Kate's heart is safe with him. Diane claims that she needs a martini because she's starting to understand his logic.
Robin shows up at Jason's and Maxie knows that it's because Mac sent her. "Please let her stay," Spinelli pleads like a kid with both hands full of cookies that he doesn't want to put back into the jar. Robin asks Jason what he thinks and Jason says that Maxie would've been safer if she never met Spinelli, but she is helping. Robin agrees to tell Mac that Maxie is just being a good friend.
Robin returns to the hospital to find Mac and Patrick shaking hands. She lays into them for scheming behind her back and then doubles over in pain. She thinks it might be a contraction.
Nikolas finds Nadine's cell and asks her what she has done this time.
A box of seashells has arrived at Carly's and just as she starts to look through them, Max shows up. He says that it would be better if the truth about her and "the boss" came out before the wedding, if they are going to get back together. Carly tells him that she and Sonny have let go and she's sorry he had to hear about that night. She says that it was a bad mistake and no one has to know. She says that she and Jax are happy and ready to move forward.
Jax comes home just as Max is leaving. After he's gone, Carly assures Jax that Max wasn't there because of Sonny and he's just a good friend of hers. Jax asks her if she slept with Sonny back in May.
Kate comes home and Sonny offers to grill some fish from the island so that they can feel like they're still on vacation. She says she's not hungry and Sonny assures her that she will fit in her wedding dress no matter what she eats. Kate says that she has a question and will believe whatever he has to say. Then she asks if he and Carly slept together the night they left Michael.

Maxie hears news of a fight on the waterfront and assumes Jason was involved because he returned home with a gun.
Johnny tells his sister that he won't turn Lulu over no matter what.
Both Sonny and Carly fail to convince their respective partners that they'll never cheat again.
Sonny has a car accident.
Robin's contraction was only false labor.
Patrick promises to take the pressure off of Robin.
Matt thinks the fake drugs have been replaced with poison.
