Liz and Jason Revisit Their Decision. Tuesday, September 02 2008

Jax tells Carly that he'll move home, Kate worries about Carly's hold on Sonny and Lulu sets Logan free.

Sonny presents Kate with a hand-picked bouquet of freesias from the grounds on his island. The maid offers to get a vase and then tells Kate that Mrs. Corinthos used to plant freesias all around because she loved them so much. Kate takes it in stride, but asks Sonny what he likes to do with his time down here. After he mentions boating and swimming, she points out that she doesn't swim so he must be confusing her with someone else. When they sit down to dinner, Kate starts asking about various seashells that are around and learns that they all relate back to Carly, Michael or Morgan. Sonny admits that he should've packed them up and sent them to Carly after the divorce, but they remind him of his children. Kate expresses her concern whether Carly will ever be out of his life. He reminds her that she's known him since they were teenagers and their bond is the special one. She wants him to validate her fears and admit that there is a spark left between himself and Carly. He tells her that all he feels for Carly is sadness. Kate thanks him and hopes that it's true.

Back in Port Charles, Jax has just informed Karpov that his visa has been revoked. Sasha shows up at the bar and Jax explains (in German) as Carly looks on. Karpov tells him that what he's done is extremely foolish and throws a glass of water on him as he leaves. Carly tells Jax that he shouldn't have crossed Karpov because even Jerry says he's psycho. Jax tells her that he loves her and will do anything to protect her. Next he tells her that he is about ready to come home.

At the PCPD, Claudia tells Ric that she saw Johnny kill Logan in self defense. Johnny tells her not to say anything else, but Claudia continues. She admits to burning the bloody rug and replacing the door, but Ric tells her that it is a total lie. "Doesn't have to be," she flirts. Ric says that the cops have forensics on their side and her lies will put her brother away. Lulu is the only viable witness, he adds. Johnny protests vehemently and Claudia asks to talk to her brother alone. After Ric leaves, Claudia puts two and two together and tells Johnny that Lulu killed Logan. Johnny denies it, but she tells him that she won't let him throw his life away for Lulu. Johnny threatens that he'll wreck her life if she hurts Lulu to save him. Claudia tells him that's exactly what she's going to do.

As Liz and Jason share a hungry kiss, she unbuttons her blouse. Jason pulls away and reminds her that they can't be together. She tells him that she needs him and that she has no expectations from him anymore. He doesn't want to hurt her, and she promises to walk away if it becomes too painful. When he resists, she asks if he's stopped loving her. He says that he can't do this anymore but she pushes to know how he feels. "If you don't love me, just say it so I can let this all go," she says. He says he should lie and say that he doesn't care about her but he can't hurt her on purpose even if it sets her free. She just wants to know if their love is her imagination. "You know I love you," are his last words as he walks out the door.

Out on the waterfront, Jerry is eavesdropping as Maxie confronts Matt about the counterfeit drug ring. He clarifies that he lost a heart patient once to fake drugs and he wants to make sure that never happens again. He says that he traced the bad shipment to the same distributor that supplies GH, and that's part of the reason he came here. He says that he's getting close to figuring out which warehouse the bad meds are being stored in and then he can go to the authorities. After giving it some thought, Maxie agrees to keep his secret.

Jerry holds back and waits for Karpov. When he arrives, he's in a tizzy because of "a jealous husband" and indicates that perhaps Jerry can deal with it. Then Jerry tells him about Matt Hunter's mission and Karpov tells him to shut him up permanently.

Lulu is sitting with Laura at Shadybrook when Logan appears again. Laura quickly figures out what's going on and cradles Lulu's head. She urges her not to give Logan power over her. Lulu says that he appears every time she starts to feel hopeful. Laura tells her that isn't Logan at all, it's her own mind. She tells her to look at Logan and tell him why he died and that she's sorry, but she is not going to give up the rest of her life for him. Lulu is afraid, but Laura urges her to relive every feeling she had the night Logan died. Lulu puts herself back into that night and as she gets angry, Laura excitedly tells her to tell Logan to leave her alone. "Stop!" Lulu yells at the wall. She yells that he wouldn't listen to her until he finally shoved himself onto the knife and died. She forgives him but tells him to leave her alone so they can both be at peace. Logan turns and walks away and Lulu collapses into her mother's arms.

Diane shows up at Sonny's and catches Max with his suit pants rolled up in a "Huck Finnish kind of way." He fesses up to dipping his feet in Mr. C's pool now and then. The two kiss and Diane admits to having problems envisioning Kate and Sonny married knowing what she knows. They talk about Carly and Sonny's indiscretion in the back of the limo that night without having any idea that Clarice has stopped by.

Next on General Hospital:

Jax moves back home with Carly and starts the plans for a dream house.

Diane urges Max to tell Kate what happened between Sonny and Carly.

Clarice greets Kate the second she returns to Port Charles.

Tracy goes to Shadybrook and finds Lulu in much better shape than before.

Laura asks Lulu not to tell her brothers about her awakening yet.

Maxie gets a subpoena to testify in Johnny's trial.

Epiphany and Edward are on jury duty!
