Lulu and Johnny reconnect ever so briefly, Sonny fills Kate in on Karpov and Jason agrees to do one big favor.

Liz is out at Wyndemere talking to Nikolas. She gives him the talk, again, about how Emily would want him to be open to a full life again. Nik just takes it all in.

Over at GH, Epiphany tells Patrick that he is losing his mind, but he claims that she has just lost her sense of adventure. Robin joins them and asks what is going on? Patrick scurries off to work and Robin shakes her head and does the same.
Down the hall, Nadine is grumbling to Leyla about giving up on Nikolas and love altogether. Just then Nikolas calls and invites her to Wyndemere. When she agrees, he tells her that the launch will be waiting for her. She turns and tells Leyla that he probably just wants help with his horses or something and she'll be back at her place with a pint of ice cream in no time.

Maxie is with Spinelli over at Jason's penthouse. "This affair could get him killed!" Spinelli spews as he frantically tries to come up with a plan to protect Stone Cold from Sasha. Jason comes home and declares, again, that he is not involved with Karpov's lawyer. Maxie is glad the matter is settled so they can talk about Lulu. She tells Jason that she saw Lulu yesterday and she is in bad shape. Jason says that he'll pay her a visit. After he's gone, Spinelli remains unconvinced that Jason isn't self-destructing to hide from his "secret pain" by sleeping with Sasha. Finally, Maxie agrees to go on a stakeout with him to prove his theory.

Max is in Sonny's home office when Kate comes in. She playfully talks about the slightly kitschy solid gold wedding gift that, if placed properly, she could learn to love. Sonny asks who it's from and she tells him that his friend Karpov sent it. Sonny sits her down and tells her that Karpov is not his friend and he's not doing business with him anymore because he has ties to the mob. Kate has some questions and Sonny assures her that he took care of everything.

Posing as Johnny's attorney, Lulu calls the PCPD and is able to talk to Johnny. They have enough time for a quick "I love you" and "Keep the faith" before Scotty enters the interrogation room and takes the phone away from Johnny. Scott proceeds to taunt Johnny about spending the rest of his life in prison. Alexis comes in and tells Scott to stay far away from "the accused." He tells her to do her job and issuing a subpoena to Lulu would be a fine place to start. Alexis finally gets rid of him and assures Johnny that she'll try to keep Scott away from him.
Later, the second Claudia comes into the interrogation room Johnny asks her to help him see Lulu. She tries to get through to him once and for all - he needs to put that stupid girl out of his mind! Johnny says that if Lulu is slipping away, this could be the only time she has left. He begs her to call in a favor and find a way to get him to Lulu.

Back at Shady Brook, Lainey stops in to talk with Lulu and finds her crying after her phone call with Johnny. She reminds Lulu that her first week needs to be free from everything so she can focus, and staying away from Johnny is the first step. Lulu asks if she's in jail or something and Lainey explains that a family member could probably check her out for short excursions, but that's all for now. Just then Lucky arrives and Lulu has never been happier to see him. Lainey leaves them alone, and the first thing Lulu does is beg Lucky to take her to see Johnny. She says that she's finally found someone who puts her first in his life, but Lucky says that her brother is putting her first right this minute when he tells her no. He says it would only make things worse for her because Johnny is the reason she's in this situation. She begs again and feels betrayed when he stays firm.
Lulu is lying down when Jason arrives at her door. He asks how he can help and she simply asks if he thinks it's Johnny's fault that she's at Shady Brook. Jason logically deducts that Johnny wouldn't let her confess and then kept her safe and alive so Johnny isn't the reason she's here. Lulu thanks him and then asks him to take her to see Johnny.
Spinelli's stakeout car turns out to be the dependable, hand-me-down that Mac gave Maxie. She vows to get a car that suits her style after she gets a promotion, and Spinelli tells her never to under estimate the value of "plain and simple."
Jerry is "escorted" to see Karpov. Jerry has his paycheck on the brain, but Karpov wants to know more about his romance with the district attorney. He is concerned that the only reason Jerry is working with him is to turn over information to his lady friend. Jerry offers to end their association right now in that case, just like Sonny did. Karpov growls that no one should emulate the way Sonny does things.

"Sometimes an apology is easier when it's accompanied by a good meal and a fine bottle of wine," Nikolas says when Nadine walks into his study. There's a lovely table, complete with candles, set in the center of the room.

Mac is called to the hospital and he meets Anna in the lobby. Patrick comes by and asks them to hold on just a minute. Down the hall, Robin is in an exam room with a patient when the speaker system comes on. Patrick starts telling the entire hospital that he's in love with Robin Scorpio, the baby, and the life that they can have. He lists his faults and then the reasons he loves Robin. People are starting to gather at the nurses' desk and Robin comes out of the exam room. (Mac whispers to Anna that he's going to kill Patrick for this.) Finally Patrick puts down the microphone and walks toward Robin. He tells her that she's overcome her fears and she doesn't have to be scared of anything anymore because they can be in this life together…as husband and wife. When he finally asks her to marry him, tears are in both of their eyes.
