Carly decides to get close to Karpov, Lourdes manages to get close to Johnny and Kate doesn't even come close to figuring out what Sonny is up to.

This time it's Johnny who dons a disguise and goes out on the streets of NYC to get takeout food. As soon as he returns, the police are at the door. Johnny wants to split out the window but Lulu begs him to give up. They don't get to make the choice, however, because the cops break the door down. It turns out that they are looking for Sal in connection to a gang shooting. Johnny and Lulu are starting to claim ignorance when Lourdes comes in through the window. Johnny says that "Penelope" is their friend and that they are all from Chicago. The cops ask for IDs but are called away to a car crash. Lourdes hugs Johnny and thanks him for saving her brother. After she leaves, Lulu does her best to remind Johnny that she is the only woman for him.

Sonny has summoned Claudia to come to his house. She's pleased, but not when Sonny accuses her of telling Jason that he's working with Karpov. Claudia denies it and says that she's too worried about her fugitive brother at the moment. She wants to shave time off of this interrogation and asks what he's threatening her with this time. Kate arrives and asks what her fiancé can possibly threaten her with? Sonny insists that Claudia treat Kate with respect and Claudia politely leaves. Afterwards Kate asks Sonny if people are trying to drag him back into the business.

Ric barges in on Jason and Spinelli at work and says that he can help Johnny and Lulu. He says that he can litigate that Lulu was merely stuck in the middle between two macho men. He wants Jason to put Spinelli's talents to good use and track Johnny and Lulu down because if Johnny dies Anthony Zacchara would cause unrest in town that Jason doesn't want.

Anthony is "…having a pleasant Chatty Cathy kind of moment" with Carly at The Metro Court. It seems that his house is about to be finished and he will soon leave her lovely establishment. Then he cuts to the chase and asks where her cousin has stowed away with his son. He taunts her by saying that he discovered that Lulu's mother has a screw loose and it could be hereditary, therefore putting Johnny in danger. Carly says that she has no idea. Anthony suggests that Carly take a more pro-active approach so that little Lulu doesn't end up in the crossfire.

Sam is at the docks supervising Karpov's shipment delivery when Lucky approaches in full cop mode asking to see her Captain's license. Rather than risk her cover, she slaps him in the face and tells him not to try to get back with her ever again. As he leaves, Lucky whispers to her to be careful. After the inventory is complete, Jerry shows up before Sam can even give a sigh of relief.

Over at the Q house, Tracy is working the phone trying to locate Luke to warn him about Lulu's situation. Scott walks in and threatens to arrest them all for aiding and abetting Lulu. They tangle, again, about who did what to whom. Monica says that lashing out when grieving over a child isn't the answer. Just then, Anthony is wheeled in and Scott is even more convinced that they are working together to protect Johnny and Lulu. Anthony says that he has come to ask Tracy on a date, that's all. Frustrated with the run-around, Scott leaves. Tracy promptly tells Anthony that she would rather die a long, slow, painful death than go out with him. Anthony says that could be arranged and then reminds them that if Lulu causes his son any harm the entire town will suffer.

Kate finds Claudia at The Metro Court bar. She tells Ms. Zacchara not to troll for the mob and try to pull Sonny back in. "Don't you feel the least bit guilty about what happened to Michael?" she asks. Claudia says that Kate is the person who got what she wanted after Michael was shot. Then she says that Sonny is hooked on power and Kate is in a fool's paradise if she thinks he'll stay clean. Kate, unruffled, reminds Claudia that Sonny chose a new life, with her, and that is that.

Claudia is still stewing when Ric sits next to her at the bar. She reports that Jason told Sonny what he knows but didn't rat on him. In essence, Ric owes her for not telling Sonny that he was the culprit. Ric reminds her that they are a good team.

Spinelli shows up at Crimson and Maxie tells him that she has a little time and can help research Karpov by tracing expensive fashion items that could be linked to his bank accounts. Spinelli appreciates the novel approach, but can't use her help. Maxie tells him to tell Jason that she's going to help or it's "…too flippin' bad!" Kate comes back and demands that they work on the wedding. She is clearly upset as she orders Maxie to be hard on the dress designer and Maxie suggests that she count to ten first. Kate hears her out and admits that it's her fiancé she can't depend on, not the designer. Sonny has arrived and asks what's wrong. Kate voices her concerns over Sonny's ability to leave the mob and he assures her that he has. She invites him to dinner and is curious why he tells her that he's busy tonight.

Carly goes to Jason to report that Anthony knows about Laura's mental status, so Lulu is even more dangerous as far as he is concerned. She can see that something is bothering him and quickly surmises that it's Sonny and Karpov. She assures him that she's going to look after him and leaves without even hearing Jason's complaints. The first thing she does is arrange for Karpov to receive The Metro Court's best bottle of vodka, complete with an invitation to meet her for a drink.

Spinelli returns to Jason's office and nervously says that he may be able to find Karpov's girlfriend and study her financial trail that leads back to him. Jason asks what is wrong with him and he rambles about the possibility of utilizing Maximista's non-linear thinking. Jason quickly guesses that Spinelli told Maxie what he's working on. As he tries to explain how hard it is to stay away from Maxie, his laptop indicates a response to his search. They both read the screen and discover that Karpov's last girlfriend suffered a "tragic death."

Karpov quickly finds Carly in The Metro Court lobby and flirts with her. "Take a drive with me," he says.

The piano in the Manhattan apartment is delivering a sublime rendition of Clair De Lune as Lulu slumbers on the sofa. When she finally opens her eyes and tries to sneak a peek of Johnny at the keyboard, she finds the gruesome ghost of Logan instead.
