Lucky worries that Lulu is becoming their mother, Nadine catches Matt in the drug lock-up, Maxie overreacts to her new roommate Matt, Claudia and Anthony argue and Diane wonders who the sexy woman with Sonny is.
Diane meets with Jason and says he isn't out of the woods just yet because if Johnny does anything bad, it could be blamed on him! They talk about Logan's murder case and he says Lulu could be behind everything. She wants to go after Lulu but Jason tells her not to do anything against Lulu because he can't be responsible for Lulu going to jail. He says the cops have to keep thinking Lulu is Johnny's hostage. Diane calls him a difficult client and wonders how she can get him released. She leaves.
As Spinelli fights with Dr. Hunter, Maxie screams at them to stop. She finally gets their attention and asks what Hubbard is doing. He says he lives there just as Robin comes in and introduces Maxie to her new roommate. Maxie refuses to let Matt stay there but Robin won't change her mind. Spinelli sides with Maxie, who doesn't want Matt there under any circumstances - even Mac being overprotective! Robin says this could be a great idea and when Matt moves out, they could offer it to another med student. Maxie still doesn't want him there. Matt returns and says he isn't leaving! She says she can't bear the thought of anyone living in Georgie's room. Matt explains that he needs a cheap, safe place to live and refuses to consider moving out. Maxie hates him even more but now Robin is siding with her. Maxie forgives her and says they'll find another way to get rid of Matt! Robin returns to her room. Maxie rages about Matt and Spinelli agrees to help her get rid of Matt. He suggests they bring in Jason but Maxie objects. She hugs him and says he is her best friend.
Lulu and Johnny talk to the tough guy, who says he found the professor dead. The guy says he talked to the professor a lot but he never mentioned anyone named Joe; Lulu gets nervous. He pulls a gun on Johnny, who begins playing the piano to prove his story. The guy puts his gun away; Lulu gets tears in her eyes. He agrees to let them stay. Johnny says he is looking for work and the tough guy suggests that he take over the professor's job teaching piano. As soon as the guy leaves, Lulu runs for the window and says they have to get out of there! Johnny doesn't want to leave but Lulu keeps pressing him. He says New York is relatively safe because there are so many people. She is worried they'll be caught; he says they'll be fine and kisses her. They make love. Lulu compares their relationship to Luke and Laura's. Johnny says they will be okay.
At Metro, Sonny meets with Karpov's handler, Sasha. He says he will only give advice, he won't get back into the mob life. He says Karpov can't go against Sonny's old organization either! He goes on about the meetings and the important people he can introduce Karpov to. She asks why Sonny is acting as a facilitator instead of a leader. Diane arrives and wonders about the connection between the two. Sonny walks away. Diane questions the woman about her business dealings but she is more interested in talking about Sonny and Claudia. Diane asks a few more questions and learns that the woman's business is coffee.
Claudia meets Anthony for dinner. Claudia says Johnny is fine but Anthony is worried that Lulu is going to turn on him and continues blaming Claudia for Johnny being involved in the first place. He says Claudia is trying to get rid of Johnny any way she can! He gets angry and starts yelling; Sonny approaches from across the room. He rages about Claudia being horrible and wanting a son. Sonny angrily tells him to quiet down - or he'll dump him out of the wheelchair and make him crawl. He leads Claudia out.
Sonny escorts Claudia back home. She asks what he was trying to accomplish. He says he knows how it feels to be screamed at and she didn't deserve that. She asks if he made the guy who made him scream crawl the way he threatened Anthony. Sonny says that man is dead. Claudia tells him about Johnny escaping with Lulu's help. Sonny says Johnny better watch his back because Luke won't forgive him if Lulu is harmed. Claudia defends Johnny; Sonny tells her to get Johnny back to Port Charles and away from Lulu quickly. She says Johnny can take care of himself. Sonny says Johnny needs someone to look out for him.
Diane returns to the jail to see Jason. She can't stop talking about Sonny and the new woman; she believes Sonny is having an affair! She is worried how this will hurt Kate. Jason says she is overreacting. She says Sonny was meeting with Sasha Donev; neither has heard of her. Kate says there is no way the woman is a coffee connoisseur. She tells him about Sonny's altercation with Anthony and he orders her to call Max. She is still worried about the other woman but Jason won't comment.
Nadine tries to get Nikolas to open up but he remains stoic about missing Emily and the other troubles in his life. He wants everything to be settled and isn't comfortable with sitting back and allowing Lucky to work Lulu's case from the police angle. Nadine reminds him that Johnny wouldn't hurt Lulu but Nik isn't so sure. Nadine reaches out to him. Sam arrives to see if she can help. She is desperate for news of Lucky and Lulu but Nik doesn't know anything. She says her undercover sting in going well but she can't contact Lucky because of it. Nikolas tells Sam how he attacked Anthony, shocking her.
Lucky hurries into the hospital and tells Liz that Johnny just kidnapped Lulu. He is very worried, especially since everyone believes Lulu may have been in on it. He asks her to contact him first if Lulu contacts her. She checks her phone and there are three messages but none are from Lulu. Liz reminds Lucky how street-smart Lulu is. Lucky says Lulu isn't acting smart, she is acting with her heart. He realizes that Lulu was acting like Laura acted just before she lost her mind.
Sam goes to Lucky's, unable to stay away any longer. He is relieved to see her, too, and updates her on the search. He doesn't have any leads yet and says he believes Lulu was in on the escape! She tells him she is close to getting inside the drug ring; he is worried about her. She says she can keep pretending to be broken up as long as they need to. They kiss.
Matt sneaks into the drug room at the clinic and takes several bottles of pills out of the cabinet. Nadine catches him! He says it was just a spot-check; she says they already have checks in place. Nik walks in and Nadine tells him what Matt was doing. Nikolas thinks the more people they have looking out for them the better.
