Johnny just keeps digging himself deeper to protect Lulu, Jax has had it with Carly's manipulations and Sonny has a new business partner.
Sonny is doing coffee business when he gets a visitor. Max lets her in and she introduces her selfish as Karpov's attorney. Sonny tells her that he has retired so there's nothing to discuss with the Russian "businessman." She explains that Karpov only wants a meeting. Instead of turning her away, Sonny indicates that he might be interested.
Carly has invited Claudia to meet her at The Metro Court. Carly says that after Sonny marries Kate, he'll start looking for someone more exciting. She explains that if Claudia buys Jax out of Crimson, Claudia would have an exciting new career and easy access to Sonny. "Why would I invest enormous sums of money to get to a man that I already had?" Claudia asks. Before Carly can respond, Jax approaches and Claudia tells him about his wife's interesting proposition. Jax informs her that his shares aren't for sale. Claudia leaves and Jax informs Carly that Ms. Zacchara's money is dirty and if he gets scrutiny by the government his former RICO violation (to protect Jerry) would land him in jail!
Maxie has rushed over to Jason's to warn him that Lulu's about to ruin her life and everyone else's. She emotionally explains exactly what happened the night that Logan was killed and Jason listens carefully. Maxie goes on to say that Lulu is on the edge and could well end up like her mother if this goes much farther. Jason has heard enough. He tells her to stay with Spinelli and that he's going to go try to fix this.
Lulu, clutching her gun inside her purse, goes into the PCPD to see Johnny. He's in the interrogation room with Mac, however, so she has to wait. (Mac is urging him to cop a self defense plea.) Trevor finds Lulu and tells her to leave because she's driving Johnny to destruction. He goes inside and busts Mac for talking to Johnny without his lawyer. Johnny says that the Commissioner just offered him a plea bargain deal that could spare him lethal injection. Mac leaves and Trevor informs him not to make any kind of deal!
Patrick escorts Eli to GH to have his jaw looked at. Eli is angry and tells Patrick if his jaw is broken he won't be able to finish his tour. After he goes to X-ray, Anna laments that she was so mistaken about Eli and the so-called connection they had. Robin says that idols don't normally live up to our expectations anyway. Anna says that being a grandmother is a beautiful thing and nothing else matters to her. Patrick approaches them and says it looks like Eli might have a hairline fracture.
Anna pages Noah and then explains the situation to him. She wonders if she can count on him to fill in for Eli on stage again in order to protect Patrick from a lawsuit. Noah explains that he loved his time on stage last summer but it wasn't good for him. He says that the rocker life was a fantasy fulfilled and that he ended up back in rehab. Anna takes it all in and tells him that he's a good man. Noah calls himself a "work in progress" and as much as he'd love an encore, he can't risk it. Just then, Patrick finds them and says Eli's jaw is only bruised.
Just then, Eli comes out from the exam room and tries to make up with the group. He tells Patrick that he has no hard feelings and asks Anna to meet him in his hotel room later for dinner. Anna goads him and asks why she just can't come with him now and face the paparazzi with him? Eli explains that he has to live up to his image in public. Noah doesn't want to hear any more, this time he steps forward and punches Eli smack in the jaw.
Leyla and Nadine show up at the clinic to dig in and help. There are a bunch of new patients and Nik is in good spirits. Until Dr. Hunter shows up. Nik starts to grill him about counterfeit drugs and Matt tries to explain it away as a trend in the business. He takes a call outside soon after and says that he'll handle the nurse who overheard their earlier conversation. He goes inside, compliments Nadine on her work with Isabelle and then asks her to dinner.
Sonny goes to a restaurant to meet with Karpov. The Russian mobster needs an ally in Port Charles. Sonny says that IF he gets involved, Karpov is not to compete with his former organization. Karpov agrees and Sonny says that he'll consider it. Meanwhile Claudia has arrived for lunch and is seated at a nearby table so that she can listen as best she can.
Jax goes to Crimson to warn Kate that she might hear from Claudia, and why. Kate tells him to keep his wife in check and warns Jax that he would sue him if he sold to someone like that. Jax tells Kate never to threaten him again. They both back off a little, clear the air and end up back on the same page.
Claudia goes to see Sonny and asks why he's meeting with the leader of Eastern Europe's mob. She says that the balance of power will be upset and it's not good for anyone, especially Jason and Johnny.
Jax goes home and tells Carly that he just told Kate about her proposal for Claudia. Carly isn't happy to hear that he ratted her out to Kate and Jax says that he's honest on all fronts. He reminds her that his success allows him to give them a great life and that he can give their family the world, but he can't handle her game-playing and lack of trust. "If you sabotage my business with Crimson one more time I'll leave you," he finally says.
Back at Crimson, Kate tells Clarisse that when Jax shows up late for their big meeting she is to tell him that she gave the message to his wife. Kate says that Carly will be out of the picture if she's caught in one more lie and this should do the trick. Clarisse says that she wondered if Kate was going soft. Kate says that she's had enough.
Lulu is still waiting outside the interrogation room to see Johnny. Lucky finds her there and asks her to leave. She snaps at him and barges into the room the second Trevor walks past. She tells Johnny that she had a stupid impulse and now she has a gun in her purse. She says that all of this is her fault and she wants to help him get out of jail. Johnny urges her to remain quiet for a little while longer, but she says that she has to tell Lucky the truth. She has the gun in her hand now, and Lucky comes in to check on her. Thinking quickly, Johnny grabs the gun and holds it to Lulu's neck. "Back off or I'll kill her," he commands.

Lulu and Johnny get as far away from the PCPD as possible.
Kate successfully makes Carly look bad to Jax.
Jax tells Carly that he's leaving.
Sonny meets with Karpov again.
Nadine goes out with Matt to get more information on him.
