Mac questions Johnny, Lucky questions Lulu, Spinelli turns Sonny away, Carly goes after Kate again, Anthony questions Maxie and Claudia pulls a gun on Jason!
Mac comes by Lucky’s. Johnny tells Lulu to keep quiet and convinces her to leave with Lucky. When they are alone, Mac asks for Johnny’s alibi and Johnny asks for a lawyer.
Maxie and Spinelli are trying to figure out how to help Jason when Sonny arrives. They tell him about Jason’s arrest and Sonny wants to help. Spinelli says he can’t tell Sonny anything because Sonny is no longer part of the organization! Sonny demands answers but Spinelli clams up. Sonny storms out. Maxie encourages Spinelli, who immediately starts surfing with his computer. Maxie says they need to come up with a different approach - like an alibi for Jason. Spinelli wants to find the truth, though.
Nadine is about to identify Jason when Carly walks in to the room and demands that they stop. She says Jason was with her the entire night and orders them to release him. The detective won’t. Nadine pipes up that she didn’t get a good enough look at the perpetrator to identify him but says she might recognize the sedan he was driving. Carly triumphantly says it can’t be Jason because he doesn’t drive a sedan. Carly barges in to Jason’s questioning room and says he has nothing to worry about. Jason already knows that because he didn’t kill Logan. Carly tells him about her plans for Kate and the problems she is creating for the woman. Jason says that isn’t going to accomplish anything.
In the squad room, the detective tells Nadine they may need more from her later. The mayor walks in and demands to see Mac. Mac walks in and says he hasn’t told Scott about the murder and he isn’t going to say anything over ship-to-shore radio. The mayor wants Scott to know immediately - and he wants the case wrapped up immediately, too. Mac says Jason didn’t kill anyone but he knows who did.
Diane meets Alexis in court and says she won’t get away with this. She says she is going to call in experts who will testify that Patrick should have access to the child even before the baby is born! As they are arguing Robin walks in. Robin tells them to stop fighting as Patrick comes in. Alexis tells Patrick that Diane is going to ruin things for Robin. Both of them want the case to be fought cleanly and worry that Diane and Alexis will fight dirty. Anna arrives and throws a wrench in the works - she says she won’t testify for either side! The hearing begins. Anna whispers to Patrick that she is sorry; he says he understands. Noah arrives and says he can’t testify either. Alexis is disappointed but Robin understands. She asks Alexis if they can stop the hearing but the judge arrives just then. Patrick takes the stand. He admits he didn’t want kids but says now that there is a child he can’t ignore it. He says Robin can trust him to stand by her. She listens. “Turns out, this is the most important thing in the world to me,” he says. Robin cries. She stands up and tells the judge that she is wasting everyone’s time. “You can see me and the baby any time you want,” she says. After court, Alexis and Diane congratulate one another. Anna tells Robin to go talk to Patrick. Noah tells Patrick that he is a good man. Robin goes to him and tells him she loves him. Anna receives a call from Eli, who is headed to town. She is nervous that he’ll find out she’s going to be a granny.
Claudia tells Anthony what she knows about the night Logan was killed. He says she needs to be proactive and frame Jason or Johnny will go down for the crime. When she mentions Maxie, Anthony gets a gleam in his eyes. Claudia says he should stay away from both girls or Johnny will come after him. Claudia tells him that they have everything handled but Anthony doesn’t believe her. Johnny arrives a while later. Claudia tells him about Anthony’s questions. Johnny is very upset that she said anything because that puts Maxie and Lulu in danger. Johnny demands that Claudia and Anthony leave Lulu alone; Claudia says he needs to cut Lulu loose because she is crazy! He insists that they are in the clear but Claudia doesn’t believe him.
Jax stops by Kate’s office as she is giving Clarice a few pointers. Before they get very far, a camera crew comes in and questions them about their “affair”. Sonny arrives and they pounce on him, too. Sonny doesn’t give them anything and neither does Jax, who escorts the reporters out. Sonny comforts Kate, saying she is handling herself well and should ignore the reporters. She runs from the room in tears. Carly arrives a while later. She finds Sonny and he turns on her. “Are you proud of yourself?” he asks. She says yes and that she’d do the same thing again. He says she won’t and calls her childish. Carly says Kate deserves it because she is trying to seduce Jax. Sonny says she is wrong and Carly says Kate slept her way to the top. Sonny says she is just jealous and tells her to keep her distance - or else!
Lucky takes Lulu to Kelly’s. Mike asks about her argument with Maxie. She says it was the same old thing and he shouldn’t worry. Lucky asks what she is keeping from him! Lulu says she isn’t upset about anything and tells Lucky to back off or she’ll leave. He grabs her and asks what is wrong. Lulu says she is upset because Johnny didn’t kill anyone but he could go to jail. Lucky says she has to face the fact that Logan wasn’t a good guy and neither is Johnny.
Jason arrives at the office and tells Spinelli he wants the footage. Spinelli hems and haws and Maxie says it shouldn’t mattered who killed Logan because he was a creep. Spinelli thinks they have to find the truth and tells her to go back to work. She leaves. Jason says he has ideas about the real killer. Spinelli tells him about Sonny’s visit, upsetting Jason. Spinelli finds the security footage and they see the sedan! Jason leaves. Spinelli calls Lulu and tells him about Jason’s near-arrest. Johnny follows her inside and hears Spinelli say they know who the real killer is.
Maxie gets in the elevator to go to work when a tough guy grabs her and sends her to the penthouse. The tough guy delivers her to Anthony, who questions her about Logan’s death. He says he wants all the details and Maxie says she doesn’t know anything but Anthony keeps pushing her. Maxie says she and Lulu were talking about work but he doesn’t believe that either. Maxie admits they aren’t friends and they worked together only to get alibis. “Tell me the truth,” Anthony says.
Jason is in the parking garage, looking at the license plate on the sedan when Claudia pulls a gun on him!
