Carly finds out about Jax and Kate's kiss, Anthony learns about Claudia's involvement with Michael's shooting and Logan just plain loses it.
Spinelli asks Leyla to tell him what her idea of the perfect man is. She says that he should be good at what he does and have earned the respect of people around him. She adds that "handsome" isn't as high on her list as it used to be because she now prefers a man who has compassion and shows kindness. She tells Spinelli that he should be top on any woman's list for all of these reasons. Just then Jax arrives. Leyla greets him and then says her goodbyes.
Spinelli asks the "White Knight of Corporate Raiders" what does he owe the pleasure of this visit? Jax says that Spinelli has a lot of potential and that he'd like to get him away from the mob scene. He offers him a job in his investment firm and informs him that the offices are just one floor below Crimson (and Maxie) at The Metro Court.
On the waterfront, Maxie has just told Logan that he's a loser in front of Matt. In return, Logan calls her a tramp. Matt tells Logan that he doesn't appreciate verbal abuse of a woman and Logan just shrugs and leaves. Maxie thanks Matt and then warns him to stay away from Logan Hayes.
Johnny has just walked into the free clinic and overheard a conversation between Lulu and Nikolas. He says that he won't defend his family's reputation, but he will promise never to hurt Lulu. Nikolas says that will do, for now. Johnny and Lulu leave together.
Claudia is at Carly's house asking for a favor. She is shut down cold, but Carly is curious. Claudia explains that her father threatened Alexis and her daughter and now Jerry is using Johnny to keep Anthony in check. She says that everyone needs to step away from the brink and if Jerry would only back off it would help. Carly says that Jerry doesn't listen to anyone, but she sympathizes with Claudia's predicament because no one should lose someone they love.
Diane goes to see Kate at Crimson in order to draw up the pre-nup. Alexis comes in and hears that Kate is marrying Sonny. "How can you be so misguided?" she laments. Kate defends every argument against marrying Sonny that Alexis lobs her way and assures her friends that the pre-nup will take care of any remaining issues.
Lulu rushes into Crimson and apologizes for being so late. Kate tells her that personal problems have no place at work and the second her back is turned Logan shows up and begs Lulu to give him another chance. Maxie tells Lulu that she'll call hotel security. Lulu tells her not to, but yells at him that she's with Johnny now and it's because he and Maxie slept together. Logan says that she let Maxie run both of them!
Diane stops by Jason's penthouse and finds Spinelli munching furiously on chips. She welcomes him home from the hospital and asks what's going on with him? He lays out his current dilemma and says that if he joins the Captain of Industry he would have to leave Stone Cold. Diane wonders if Jax is trying to pay Jason back for Carly's obsession with him by stealing his cohort. Spinelli wants no part of Jax and Carly's marriage coaster and decides to stay with Jason.
Claudia meets Jerry on the water front. He wants assurances that he'll stay alive and in turn he'll keep her secret. He says that she will tell her daddy that she and her brother were responsible for Michael Corinthos. That way, if Anthony kills him he'll know that his precious offspring will be exposed. Claudia asks for 24 hours to fix this and Jerry agrees.
Carly greets Jax warmly when he comes home and says that he gets to take her out to dinner. He'd love to, but has to escort Kate to Manhattan for a fundraiser tonight. She says that Kate could take Sonny but she's too busy trying to get back at her! She says that Kate is using the magazine to hit on him. Jax kisses her and says he's late.
Matt returns to the clinic and tells Nikolas that the medication they gave their female patient was indeed a placebo. Nik tells him to test all of the meds and give him a list of the suppliers. He says that he wants to find out who is profiting off of people's medical problems.
Claudia goes to her father's room at The Metro Court to talk. She tells him not to kill Jerry Jacks or else Johnny will end up dead. Anthony wants details and she timidly says that she was involved in Michael Corinthos' shooting. He is enraged that she would put her own brother's life at risk and calls her a tramp! He says that he knows it better than anyone. Her lips turn white as she says that she was only a little girl and he was the adult!
Johnny returns to the clinic to talk to Nikolas. He asks Nikolas if he plans on telling Lulu about his family's involvement with Ian Devlin and asks if he's going to tell Lulu. Nik owns up to his own guilt for allowing Ian Devlin to function in Port Charles and promises to keep quite. Unless Johnny betrays his trust, that is.
Jax's pilot comes by to pick Carly up, and Carly tells him that she's not going to Manhattan, Kate is. He awkwardly tries to leave but Carly can tell that he's keeping something from her. Finally she gets it out of him. "It was just a kiss," he tells her and says that Jax and Kate probably just had too much champagne.
On the jet, Kate asks Jax if Carly gave him a hard time. Jax says that his wife has been under a lot of strain, that's all. Kate says that Carly is jealous of her and Sonny and that means that she under appreciates him!
Carly wakes Spinelli up from a nap and tells him to boot up his computer and help her blow Kate Howard's life apart.
Maxie is left alone at Crimson to finish up the day. Which is exactly what Logan had in mind. He comes into Kate's darkened office and says that Lulu was going to help him turn his life around but now she's gone. Maxie begs for her life as Logan starts to throw her around.
Then he looks out the window and sees that Lulu is watching from Johnny's balcony at The Metro Court.
