General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

It's a new day, but Johnny's stuck on the same subject. He badgers Claudia to find out if she told anyone else that she hired the hit on Sonny that backfired so horribly for Michael. He tells Claudia that he trusts her, but not her methods. She admits that she has screwed up and now Nikolas Cassidine knows, too. Claudia assures him that if Nikolas causes them problems they can kill him. Johnny isn't happy to knock off his girlfriend's brother. Claudia says that Nik had some bad experiences with Devlin and isn't exactly clean either, so maybe won't judge them for what they did. She says that Nikolas knows that she didn't mean for the boy to get hurt.

Lulu is rushing through the waterfront with Kate's coffee when Logan stops her and asks her out. Lulu reminds him that she is with Johnny now and isn't going out with him. Logan won't give up and apologizes for messing up with Maxie. Lulu wishes him a great life, but excuses herself.

Dr. Matt Hunter goes to work at the free clinic. Nikolas introduces Nadine and Leyla and then gives him a tour. Dr. Hunter doesn't mind working 15 hours a week but reminds Nik that he's a surgical resident and isn't interested in giving vaccines and band aids. Nik reminds him that the clinic has high standards and deserves his respect. Before long, a patient comes in and collapses on the floor. She had come in earlier and been given an antibiotic but it didn't bring her fever down at all. Nik finds the pills and asks Dr. Hunter if he can have them tested. Dr. Hunter says that counterfeit drugs are a lucrative business and a growing one. Nadine wonders if that's why Claudia Zacchara keeps stopping by.

Carly barges into Sonny's living room to tell him that she's not pregnant. Sonny says that Jason told him and he also denied having slept with her. Carly, caught in her lie, retaliates by telling Sonny that she doesn’t appreciate him going to Jax with advice of getting a paternity test. She tells him if he doesn’t stay away from Jax she'll make sure Kate never marries him. They argue, again, about which of them wanted the other in the back of the limo and Carly says that they both want each other even though they shouldn't. As she turns to leave, she sees that Max has come into the room and heard.

After she's gone, Max respectfully asks Sonny why he would marry Kate if he still has feelings for Carly. Sonny threatens to kill him if he breathes a word of this to anyone. He says that he loves Kate and is done with Carly's insanity. Then he tells Max that he wants to know where Jason's next shipment is landing. Max says that he can't discuss that with him.

Jason has brought Spinelli home from the hospital and given him a health drink. Maxie shows up with flowers and informs Jason that she is in charge of taking care of Spinelli. Jason tells her to go back to work, but Spinelli makes it very clear that he would rather have Maxie take care of him. Jason gets the hint and goes to the office.

Maxie promptly fluffs Spinelli's pillows and tells him that she wouldn't know what to do without him. Spinelli asks if her feelings for him have changed and she says that she has woken up lately and realized what's right before her eyes. She hopes that she's not embarrassing him and then says that he is her very best friend. She realizes that he has Jason, but she only has him. Spinelli is bummed but accepts her friendly hug anyway.

Leyla knocks at the door and asks Maxie if Spinelli is up for company. Maxie is glad to see her and asks if she can look after Spinelli so she can get back to work. Leyla can see that Spinelli is feigning illness to keep her around. Maxie promises to come back later and takes off. Leyla asks Spinelli what's up with the act? Spinelli lovingly details all of Maxie's qualities and laments that she sees him only as a friend. Then he begs Leyla to tell him what qualities she looks for in a mate.

Sonny goes to Jason's office and talks to Bernie. He worries that the business could be run into the ground and says he's just looking after Jason's interests. Bernie gently tells him that he should stay out of Jason's business now.

Luckily for Sonny, Jason has been sidetracked on his way to the office. Claudia finds him and asks if they can talk. Jason says he's busy but she can come by tomorrow if she has to. She demands that he at least thank her for helping take care of him and Spinelli when they were quarantined. Jason nods, thanks her and walks away.

When he arrives at his office, Jason finds Sonny talking to Bernie. Sonny turns to him and advises where the new shipment should land. "Do you want to take the business back?" Jason asks. Sonny doesn't, he is just offering advice. He says that he's getting flak for leaving Jason in the lurch and obviously he doesn't need anything!

Logan and Matt Hunter meet on the waterfront. Logan says that his supplier will be able to provide the "discounted medication" that he's asking about. Dr. Hunter says that as long as he is covered, he's interested in making extra money just like he did at the last hospital he worked for. He asks Logan to tell him when and where and he'll make sure the client buys from him for a 30% cut. Maxie comes upon them and warns Matt not to trust Logan Hayes.

Carly is surprised to find Claudia at her door. Carly assumes that she wants to talk about her brother and Lulu, so she lets her in. Claudia tells Carly to rethink her support of Lulu's relationship because she is a giant pawn in a game right now. She reminds Carly of the time she found her standing next to her son Michael's bed. She says that she was thinking that it could've been Johnny. She proceeds to tell Carly how damaged Johnny is from his childhood and she is just trying to protect him. She asks Carly for her help.

Lulu runs into Nikolas, who proceeds to badger her about being with Johnny. As she defends their relationship, Johnny finds them and asks Nik what his problem is.

Carly finds out that Jax and Kate kissed.

Logan loses his temper with Maxie.

Johnny tries to get reassurance from Nikolas.

Nikolas warns Johnny not to hurt Lulu.

Matt and Nikolas learn that some of the clinic's meds are fake.
