General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

At Liz's house, Audrey meets her at the door, and says that Lucky called from rehab, and Liz should talk to him. Elizabeth says she needs space right now, and tells her about going to an Al-Anon. Audrey thinks that she went for Lucky, but Liz says that she went to the meeting for support. She says that she went to the meeting for herself, just like Lucky needs to get sober to save himself. Audrey asks, "But who is going to save you?"

At Metro Court, Ric says that the school can count on Sam and him for fund-raising. He puts his hand on her leg, knowing that Jason can see him doing this. Jason walks out of the room, and Sam gets up to go after him, excusing herself from the meeting. She calls Jason and asks him to meet her.

Back at Jax's place, Carly and Jax get closer, snuggling and kissing on the couch. Carly is uncomfortable with Jax telling her that he loves her, thinking something bad will happen now. She says that every time they get together, something happens. Jax comforts her and tells her that they are in love, and nothing will ever come between them.

In the hospital, Alexis tells Sonny that she doesn't believe he'd take Kristina from her home. She says that she knows that Sonny will do the right thing if she dies. Sonny tries to convince her to get the chemo treatment, but she doesn't want to go that route.

Sonny phones Carly on her cell phone, interrupting her and Jax. Carly answers the phone, saying that it had better be important! Sonny tells her it's about Kristina, and he thinks that Carly is the only one who can help her.

In the cafeteria, Professor Pete tells Lulu that she doesn't have what it takes to pass the class. Lulu tells the professor that he knows nothing about her, and tells him that she had an abortion that summer. He says, "Big deal", saying that people don't need to wallow in self-pity.

Back in Metro Court, Ric sits down with Alcazar. Ric says that his plan to put his hand on Sam's knee was to distract Jason so that he'd be vulnerable to Alcazar. Alcazar thinks that Ric has another agenda and says so, but Ric says that he is only trying to protect his own family.

Jason meets with Sam on the roof and tells him about Ric putting his hand on her knee and how it sickened her. Jason says that he knew that Ric was doing it for his benefit. She says that their relationship (her and Jason's) is not working, and that they ought to go their own ways. Jason says he understands, but he still cares about Sam.

Carly shows up at the hospital and meets with Sonny, who tells her that she has to talk to Alexis about the chemo treatment. She talks to Alexis and tells her that she supports her decision, because Kristina will be perfectly fine with her. Carly pretends that Sonny and she got back together, and that Jax was a "speedbump", nothing to worry about! She says that she and Sonny have great plans for Kristina. Alexis says that Carly is not going to raise her daughter, and tells them both to get out! They leave the hospital room and Carly says, laughing, "I think it worked!".

Back in the restaurant, the professor tells Lulu that she's a spoiled drama queen, but she retorts that she'll ace his class. Elizabeth and Maxi come into the restaurant, and Lulu overhears them speaking about Lucky. Maxi says that she thinks Lucky should go to rehab, but Liz says that she can't forgive Maxi for what she did to break up their relationship and cause Lucky to get fired. Maxi asks Liz if she's going to take Lucky back, but she says it's none of her business. Lulu confronts Maxi and says, "So you're the one having sex with my brother!" Lulu says that Maxi got Lucky hooked on drugs so that she could sleep with him.

Carly comes back to Jax's place, and explains that she pretended that she was back together with Sonny to make Alexis take the chemotherapy treatment. Jax isn't exactly happy about the fact, but he's glad that Carly may have convinced Alexis to get the chemo she needs.

Sonny and Jason are talking, and Sonny says that Alfonzo has been killed. Jason says he'll go to Puerto Rico to take care of business. Sonny says that he won't let Jason run away from Sam. Jason says that when he sees Sam with Ric, he gets really angry and it would be best if he left town. Sonny says that Jason needs to show strength by staying in town.

At the hospital, Ric and Sam are in Alexis' room, but Alexis has gone for some tests. They argue about the teacher's meeting and how he put his hand on her leg so that Jason would see. At that moment, Alexis appears in the doorway in a wheelchair, interrupting them. Sam says that she is willing to work with Ric on their relationship, and that Alexis should do her best (to get chemo). Alexis is scared to have chemo because she is afraid that she will fall into a coma, but everyone that she has talked to says that she should have chemotherapy, and she is going to do the chemo treatment!

Liz gets home and finds the number for the rehab clinic on the phone. She has memories of her and Lucky having a snowball fight, laughing, kissing, and having fun. She picks up the phone to dial Lucky, but then has memories of her and Jason together. She hangs up the phone, undecided.

Back at Jax's apartment, Carly dims the lights and turns on some romantic music. She presents him with a diamond-studded heart and says that she is giving her heart to him. They kiss softly and get undressed, making love.
