General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Kate, Lulu and Maxie are hard at work at Crimson. Kate tells them that she's going to Manhattan for a function tonight and they have a lot of work to do. The girls are quiet so Kate asks what's up. Lulu explains that they assumed she would be with Sonny since today is the day that Michael is moving. Kate curtly tells them that she and Sonny are no longer involved and that she demands discretion from her staff. Both girls tell Kate that they are sorry about Sonny, but Maxie takes it one step farther. She tells Kate that she can be packed in five minutes if she's thinking about moving Crimson to the city. Kate clarifies that she's set up to operate from Port Charles and no one will be going anywhere.

As Maxie and Lulu get busy making transportation and clothing arrangements for Kate's trip, Spinelli shows up and practices some of his newfound "manhood" wisdom on them from Patrick and Coleman. He tells them that he's interested in their careers and he will never mention either of their mothers. Then he shows them his new NASCAR magazine. They basically shoo him out of their way.

Sonny is at work and not pleased to find Max and Milo standing guard over him at Jason's request. Later, Jason comes by and Sonny wants to know everything that led up to the revelation that Devlin was Michael's shooter. Jason lays it all out for him, and Sonny tells him to just say what he's really thinking - that Devlin may be dead but the man responsible is standing right in front of him! Jason remains quiet as Sonny laments that he should've protected Michael instead of Kate. He dares Jason to admit that if it were him, he would've saved the boy instead. Jason has had enough and finally blurts out that they all are to blame.

Out at the Zacchara mansion Claudia tells Johnny that they should convince Jason that their dad is the one who had Michael shot. That way, Jason will take care of Anthony so they don't have to. Johnny whispers that he thinks they should distance themselves from the shooting because with Devlin dead, they are the only two people who know they were involved. Just then, Jerry arrives and Claudia's eyes fly wide open. Jerry quickly tells a story about how he kissed Claudia on the waterfront and perhaps he was wrong in assuming the feeling was mutual. The cover continues as Ric wheels Anthony in. Jerry switches to business mode and says that he's come to talk about the Alcazar piers. He says that he's planning an import business and would like to arrange to use them. Anthony tells him to go to Sonny instead, but Jerry expresses his desire to work with the Zaccharas. Ric walks Jerry out and tells him to stay away from Alexis and his daughter now that he's going back into dirty business. Jerry tells Ric that he's in the same boat now.

After Jerry is gone, Anthony wants to know why Ric had a few private words with Jerry. Ric tries to brush him off, but Anthony demands to know. Reluctantly, Ric admits that Jerry has been seeing his ex-wife and he doesn't like it. Anthony tells Ric he'd better not be involved with his ex-wife because he was counting on him to distract Claudia in whatever means necessary.

The staff at GH is prepping Michael to leave. As Liz takes his vitals she tells him that because of him, she and Jason made the best decision possible for Jake. She reminds him how much he is loved and will never be forgotten. Carly and Jax are outside his door and Bobbie tenderly gives Carly the forms to sign so Michael can be moved. Bobbie is the next to say her goodbyes to Michael. Carly tells Jax that she's planning on riding in the ambulance with Sonny. He understands and offers to drive her back to Port Charles, but she says that she wants to ride in Sonny's limo so she can show him the custody papers. Jax agrees to stay in Port Charles and then goes in to talk to Michael. He tells him that he'll never tell Carly, but he's not going to give up on a miracle and that there are always new developments in medicine, even if he has to fund the research himself.

Nikolas takes it upon himself to get out of his hospital bed and pack to go home. Nadine finds him and says that it's too soon for him to go home. Nik says that it's time to move on with his life and besides, his son is afraid of storms and there's a big one coming. Nadine wonders if maybe he's heading back to Wyndemere because he will feel closer to Emily there. Later she complains to Leyla about his early release and Leyla tells her that she was instrumental in getting Nikolas to have the surgery, but she might have to let go now.

Jerry calls Claudia down to the waterfront to meet him and is promptly chewed out for showing up at her house. Claudia then informs him that he is going to help her frame Anthony for Michael's shooting. Jerry asks what's in it for him and Claudia says that once she and John are at the helm, she can decide what happens with the piers. She says that she's prepared to get things done and Jerry says, "Then I'll guess you'll understand this." He pulls out a knife and stabs her in the abdomen.

Jax goes to see Kate at Crimson because he'd like to get his mind off of Michael by doing some work. Kate says that she can't stop thinking about him either. They talk about what Carly needs and what Sonny is going through and how hard it is for all concerned. Kate tells him that she's going to a fundraiser in Manhattan tonight and Jax offers to escort her.

Jason has gone up to the long-term care facility to check out Michael's room. There are skateboards and skim boards on the wall, and pictures and books piled on tables. The administrator comes in, introduces herself and gives him a tour. Jason sadly hands her the book about Africa that he used to read to Michael and asks if the staff could read it once in a while.

In the ambulance, Sonny thanks Carly for letting him ride with Michael. Carly says that Michael would want him there and that's all that matters right now. There are no words between them, the sadness in their eyes says it all.
