Mike goes to Sonny to help with Michael, Lucky warns Luke to steer clear of danger and Spinelli looks to Coleman and Patrick for advice.

Robin approaches Liz at work to ask for help with her panic attacks about being a single mom. She tells Liz that Patrick is absolutely no help to her. Liz is hesitant to respond and Robin can tell from Liz's reaction that Patrick is standing right behind her. He pulls her aside and says that if only she would let him, he could do more to help. Robin kindly explains that she's looking for girl talk, like how to shave her legs when she can't reach them. Liz offers a slip of paper with a web site link to a message board with other mom's. Later Robin tells Patrick that she's considering writing a blog and that unless he's carrying a ten-pound potato inside his stomach, he can't really help her.

Sonny goes into Michael's room at GH and finds Epiphany caring for him. She tells Sonny that he's doing the right thing by sending his son to the long-term care institute in New York. Sonny says he feels as if he's turning his back on Michael. After she leaves, Sonny sits down and is soon joined by Mike. He tells Sonny that he should personally check out the facility and Sonny invites him to come along. Mike is flattered but says that Sonny should take Kate for moral support instead of him. Sonny dodges the subject and talks about the hell of putting his little boy in a room for the rest of his life.

Kate and Lulu are bickering at Crimson. Lulu is upset that Maxie was sent to NYC on a photo shoot to work with a hot young (male) designer instead of her. Spinelli shows up to inquire of Maxie's whereabouts and is crushed to hear that she's out of town with another man.

Sam is counting her pittance of poker winnings on The Haunted Star and telling Luke that she barely made enough to buy beer and chips! Luke tells her that her boyfriend and his cop friends had something to do with it. He has changed into a suit in order to win Tracy back and Sam is impressed with what she sees. Lucky arrives to have a little talk with his father, so Sam takes her leave. The first thing Lucky does is point out that it's too early to be drinking and then he says that he's not going to be able to do much to keep Luke from being arrested for much longer - or safe for that matter. Luke reminds him that he's his own man and no one has ever been able to change that. He thanks his son for his concern and then leaves to get his wife back.

Spinelli goes to Jake's and fumbles around at trying to be cool. He orders a "cold one" (orange soda) and when he pulls out his money to pay, it's all coins. He tries to shoot pool, but ends up sending the cue flailing across the room. Coleman asks him what's up and Spinelli admits that he's trying to figure out Stone Cold's "chick magnet coolness." He admits that he's worried that Maxie is close to running away with another Romeo. Coleman takes pity on him and tries to help. He demonstrates how to take a shot like a man, but Spinelli sprays it out his nose. Patrick bellies up to the bar next to them and Spinelli decides to ask him for advice too. Patrick jumps right in with his pearls of wisdom and ends up talking about how not to act when your girlfriend is pregnant.

There's a war brewing at the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy wants her Daddy to fire Alice for the dust bunnies growing under her bed, but Edward won't hear of it. Tracy rants who is on her side around here? Alan is, that's who. He appears and tells her that she's mad at Luke, not Alice. Tracy sits down and tells him that she's not mad at her husband, she's afraid for him. She argues with him, while Alice and Edward watch. When Luke arrives they welcome him because they think he can help Tracy from slipping back into madness.

Luke, followed by Alice and Edward, steps into the parlor. He asks everyone to leave, including Alan, and then tells Tracy that he won't let her deny the fact that they love each other any longer. He says that he knows he's not a great catch, but he's better with her. He says that he's deeply flawed, but he offers his broken body and battered heart and asks her to wear her wedding ring again. She asks about their fundamental differences and he suggests they ignore them. He asks her to give him a chance to treat her the way she deserves to be treated.

Mike goes over to Crimson to talk to Kate. She tells him that Sonny ended things with her, but Mike tells her that Sony has never needed her more. Kate explains what happened between her and Ian Devlin and how Sonny feels betrayed. Mike asks her to try to find a way to be there for his son anyway because he's going to New York to see Michael's facility. Before he leaves, Mike tells Kate that she is the only person who can give Sonny hope right now.

Lulu goes out to Johnny's house and finds him playing the piano. He's surprised to see her and she says that her feelings for him are real in spite of their charade at the moment.

Lucky and Sam go to GH to pay Nikolas a visit, but find him unconscious on the floor next to his bed. They get the doctors and after a brief exam, they report that Nik's bloodstream doesn't show any of the meds that he's supposed to be getting. Sam recognizes the situation as similar to the time she overheard Liz getting chewed out for not giving meds even though she swore she did.

Robin is at home "reaching out to the sisterhood of single pregnant ladies" via internet blog. She reports that the nausea is gone, but says that she's an eating machine now. She laments about the fact that her baby father is hot for her mother and then opens a bag of chips.

Sonny is in Michael's new room talking with the facility administrator. He talks about his son and how smart he is…was. He says that he's trying to convince himself that Michael will be okay, but he won't wake up ever again. The administrator gently talks to him about the initial separation and asks Sonny if he has anyone special to lean on. Sonny tells her that he saved his girlfriend's life when he should've saved his son. He says that he doesn't regret saving his girlfriend but that she doesn't need to be around this any more. Finally he answers the woman's question. He says that he doesn't have anyone to talk to and now, neither does his son. What he doesn't know is that Kate has arrived and is listening outside the door.
