Jason goes to Kate for answers, Carly goes through the motions but isn't at all pleased with the plan for her son, and Lulu is forced back with Johnny.
Michael has been moved back to GH and Carly is trying to explain it to him. She says that Morgan is too little to understand and Michael is too good of a big brother to want his brother to be confused and scared. Jax comes in and says that they can go see the long-term care facility today if she wants. He tells her it's a short flight and she can make the trip a few times every week if she wants. Carly agrees to go and Jax goes to inform the pilot.
Jason and Spinelli are on the waterfront talking about the last two words that Devlin spoke: "There's more." Jason says that all they have to go from is the money that Kate Howard gave him. Spinelli said that he already transferred the money back to "the fashionista" so the law abiding ones can't incriminate her. Jason thinks through possible scenarios and wonders how Kate could be involved. Eventually he reasons that Kate might want Ian gone so that Sonny wouldn't get involved in revenge.
Kate has spent the night with Sonny and he is thanking her for her love and support. They talk about why Devlin was the shooter and Sonny worries that it's just to "neat and clean." Kate says that the doctor is dead and the police want to close the case, so wouldn't it be better for everyone to let it go? Nope, Sonny isn't going for it. He wants to know who else was involved.
Out at the Zacchara mansion, Anthony giddily wheels into the study and finds his two offspring looking far too serious. He warns Johnny not to talk business with his sister and Claudia informs her father that Uncle Rudy taught her how to run the business. Anthony isn't pleased that her uncle included her in men's work, but he isn't planning on making the same mistake. Claudia "respectfully" leaves so they can talk business. Trevor arrives and suggests a deal offered by a family from South America. Johnny is against it, but Trevor urges Anthony to see his side. Johnny gets angry with Trevor's intrusion and storms out of the room. Anthony shrugs it off and says that his son just needs some guidance and he knows just how to provide it.
Diane pops into Crimson headquarters and gushes over the new dress samples that have arrived. Lulu tells her she can have what she wants because she isn't into this stuff. Max arrives in hopes that Kate will do him a favor. He waits with Diane and when Kate arrives, Max asks her to intervene and make sure that the boss knows that he and Miss Miller belong together. Kate listens as Diane jumps in and says that she is perfectly able to keep her professional head about her no matter what man she is seeing.
Sonny goes to GH to see Michael and finds Epiphany giving him tender, loving care as she tucks him in after a bath. When Sonny thanks her, she tells him that he reminds her of the young man she lost all because of his business! After she leaves, Sonny sits with Michael and says that no child should have to pay for his father's mistakes. He sobs as he tells him about the place that Jax found for him and apologizes for the life that he won't have now. He looks to the doorway and sees Jason standing there. Sonny thanks him for getting through to Carly and leaves Jason to visit with Michael.
Jason tells Michael that everything changed the night he was shot. He talks of how Sonny was the first person who showed him respect after his accident and now all he can think about is how he saved Kate instead of his son. "I can't even look him in the eye," Jason says. He tells Michael that he'll be comfortable at the new place, but he's really worried about Carly.
Lulu has gone out for coffee for Kate and is quickly nabbed by two of Anthony's goons. After she is brought to the mansion, Anthony says that his son needs to learn to control his temper and she has a calming influence on him. Lulu just laughs. She says that he and his son are both "whack jobs." As she starts to leave, Anthony tells her that if she doesn't cooperate, Luke will pay the price. Lulu turns around to listen. Anthony threatens to turn Luke in for laundering money through The Haunted Star. Lulu doesn't ruffle easily, so Anthony adds that Luke could get 10 years in prison and with a bad heart he might not survive it.
Claudia meets Jerry on the waterfront again. He warns her to stop calling him because they shouldn't be seen together. Claudia tells him that Jason thinks Anthony might be the shooter and that's the end of it. Jerry tells her that she might not want to cut ties with him just yet. He threatens to expose her if she's not at his beck and call for future transactions. Claudia tells him that her dad threw her out of the business, so she won't be much good to him. Jerry says that Jason will kill her if he finds out what she did and she'd better make herself available to him. Claudia just laughs.
Diane goes out to Sonny's place and Max tells her that Sonny is gone, but she could help him "check" the house from the guest room on down. As they proceed to make out, he keeps pulling back and asking if they should really do this? Diane wants to continue, but given that Sonny is visiting Michael, hot sex isn't exactly appropriate at the moment. They sit on the sofa and sadly recall that it was Michael who brought them together and now he's gone.
Carly and Jax have arrived at the facility and Jax tells Carly that they would be allowed to redecorate the room any way they like. An administrator comes into the room and introduces herself. She wants to hear everything about Michael and Carly is happy to talk about him. Then she asks if she can meet the people who will be spending their days with her son. Afterwards, Carly says that everything is "nice." She asks how she knows her son will get good care when she's not there to watch? The administrator assures her that she can visit any time to make sure of it. Carly asks to speak with her husband alone, and then tells him that this is not the right place for Michael. She says she doesn't like the staff, the room, the vase, the lamp and proceeds to smash up Michael's room. Jax takes her in his arms and lets her crumble.
Johnny finds Lulu in his car and asks what she's doing there? She wants to go for a drive.
Jason goes to see Kate at work. He tells her that Ian shot Michael and he needs to know why she gave him a million dollars. Before Kate can say anything, Sonny appears in the doorway and says that there's no way Kate would give that guy any money.
